The view alone is already worth what you pay. The view from the open-air restaurant & pool Our room was on the left side of the resort and we could have a nice view of a cliff on the other side from our balcony. It's far from other hotels/restaurants, which was a plus for us - just calm all the time. You wake up with the sound of birds chirping and/or with monkeys playing on top of your roof. The shuttle service was not always on-time but flexible enough and the staffs tried to accommodate our needs. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to ao nang.

Amazing service at Poonsiri!”
If you visit Krabi, look no further than Poonsiri. We stayed there for a week and the service and food were top class. Even though it is a bit away from Ao Nang beach, they arranged free shuttles to and from the beach every day for us. The staff, especially Smile, are very helpful - and helped arrange tours to Phi Phi, rent motorbikes, and with all our requirements. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Resort ”
My husband and I stayed at this resort for our last two days in Thailand. We had been traveling for 5 weeks and wanted to end on a relaxing note. This was perfect for that! The location isn’t close to much, however they do offer free shuttles 4 times a day into town. You can also pay for their taxi service for other trips. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is stunning and quiet. They offer a free breakfast each day and then you have the restaurant on site for other meals if you want to stay there. Food is a fairly reasonable price, alcoholic beverages tend to cost a bit more. (90-190 baht) They have free bikes on site to use on the resort. They pool is wonderful, they have kayaks you can use on the resort as well which was neat! I would say if your looking for a relaxing place to stay in, lounge by the pool and sunbathe this is perfect! If your looking for adventure it might not be the place for you. Overall it was perfect for us! 10/10!!!

Lovely villa overlooking the lagoon and swimming pool with large balcony. Spacious rooms with good Aircon and ceiling fan. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and shuttle service to take you to the centre of Aonang. Beautiful surroundings with a few cheeky monkeys in the surrounding forest. Highly recommended this resort if you want somewhere tranquil that's still not too far from the main action.

Beautiful resort, not all the services are working (spa) but everybody are very nice, it’s a bit far from downtown and the beach, the shuttle is not always available, so I recommend renting a motorcycle .

Stayed at Poonsiri for 3 nights. Shuttle service is available. Swimming pool water is clean. We really enjoyed there. Best part is that food is awesome. Must try pineapple rice!!!!

It was an Amazing Experience staying at Poonsiri resort . Located at outskirts but superb and peaceful place to stay. Hotel staff is very helpful & they even served us jain food on special demand. The resort is built around a small lagoon, so you can enjoy beautiful lake and mountain view from your terrace. You can even go kayaking on the lake. The location is very peaceful (especially that we were the only guests) and it’s not too far from Krabi beach. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle service 3 times a day, however the schedule was a bit odd and it wasn’t so easy to get back to the resort in the evening. But if you have a motorbike or car, you will be fine. There was a lot of wildlife as monkeys, geckos, birds and we even saw a varanus! The pool was very nice too. The staff is very friendly, especially Smile, who found a solutions to the minor issues we had and accommodated all of our requests. The breakfast was good and the restaurant served very tasty thai and western dishes for lunch and dinner.

A beautiful setting. Very quiet. We had monkeys in our balcony at 6:30!in the morning which we loved. Breakfast was amazing! The staff were lovely but they were very young and every request seemed to take a lot of time. We had to check out at 12 but couldn’t leave the resort until 1 because the tuk tuk driver was having lunch which didn’t make sense. Otherwise would recommend for a night just to see the monkeys and the fish in the lake x

I stayed here with my parents and sister. We had wanted to get away for a few nights somewhere nice and peaceful and this was the perfect place. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the only issue we had was that the beds were a little harder and Pillows too but you cannot cater for everybody! The staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was average as you find in most hotels. The hotel is located quite far from aonang and when I booked it I didn't realise it would be so difficult to get a taxi from there to town, the hotel offer a shuttle service at a price which we used for the evenings that we were there and were able to get a taxi back then from aonang beach area. The rooms on the lagoon were very pretty and it was very peaceful and relaxing over all.

Pros - great room, surroundings, pool, staff, food Cons - the location but isn’t too much of a problem as there’s a shuttle on. (but not very frequent) Or you can pay 150 baht (which is cheap enough)
