A good location hotel”
Pros - Location - Less than 5-10mins away to bus stops, mrt station, shopping mall. Easy to find food around the hotel as well. Clean hotel - clean white sheets and toilet. Cons - Thin wall and big under door gap - You can basically hear everything when the tv is off (sensitive ears may not be a suitable place) and one of the days during my stay my next door neighbour just finished showering and sprayed body spray after - being sensitive I immediately sneezed.

Returning Visitor: Location!”
I had a great visit the first time, and I elected to pay Populous a second visit. Location was the biggest factor. Bus stop located right infront of the hotel. Designated pick up spot for private hired vehicles (Grab, GoJek) is a very short walk from the entrance. Dinner was just a couple of junctions away at Bugis Junction and Bugis Plus. No frills and great hotel. Definitely value for money. PS: Although my room had no windows, I did not feel claustrophobic. There is space for a luggage or two to be placed at the foot of the bed.

Location & style ”
At the heart of Bugis. Just a short walk to Bugis Junction and Bugis Plus. 711 within walking distance too. So food wasn't an issue. Rooms was small but had a great amount of amenities like an iron. Shower was nice and warm. Walls are rather thin. I could hear what my neighbor was up to quite clearly, which was rather embarrassing. Staff were all great. Check in and out was seamless. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Best apartment stay ever”
I totally enjoy the stay at Taman anggrek plus it’s nearest to 3 mall and good food you can find. Very accessible. They have 2 type of pool indoor and outdoor but I only manage to go to the outdoor one as I was busy all the time... Ibu Lusi is really helpful and a nice lady... thumbs up 👍 I will definitely coming back to stay at the same apartment again... it’s like a third place I call home.......

Populous Hotel is quite an amazing hotel for the price you pay. The room is perfect for one or two people and the staff were really helpful. The location of the hotel is good since it is close to shopping centres and restaurants. Highly recommended!

A little gem ”
Pros: For the price range, the hotel is very clean and the check in was a Breeze. The location was also about 5-10 mins walk to Bugis mrt and 5 mins walk to various eateries which open to midnight. Toilet was Super spacious, comfy bed, and the hair dryer was also very good. Cons: Not very sound proof, especially you can hear each time other room closes their door, this is also due to the fact that door must be pull hard to close. Aircon is centralised hence you need to inform front desk if you wanna adjust the aircon.

My room was so clean and they provide us with iron, iron board, safebox, fridge (not that cold btw), kettle. bus stop is located in front of the hotel so it is easy for me to take the bus. just that the room is not soundproof so i heard someone snoring next to my room but it is okay and acceptable for me. good job!

Most valuable hotel if you're going for Singapore F1”
Greeted with friendly staff as soon as we walked in. Check-in was fast and easy. Within walking distance from F1 entrance. And walking distance to Bugis station. Probably the most valuable hotel for F1 visitors. The room is very clean as well.
