I was there with my 3.5 years old twins during a long holidays so we paid almost double, which is acceptable for me because... well, it was a long holidays. staff were very helpful. when I called to let them know that we were a family of four, they prepared an extra bed and breakfast for the kids without extra charge. room was clean ans spacious and bathroom was even bigger. you need to have a car and its abit far from the city center. it takes approximately 20 mins from the resort to the main street of the town. no street lights at night. please note that you, unless you use AIS, you may not be to use your mobile phone here but they have a wifi. the signal was good I could even watch online TV althought it was disconnected from time to time. breakfast was good. they served a set of american breakfast (fried egg, sausauge, toast), followed by boiled rice with minced pork and a dessert.

Honeymoon trip”
First impression is the staff at Front , she's so kind and service with smile. The room that i stayed is @Le Lait which is have roof top and that's so nice to have a drink with my accompany. They also have a corner to rest and it's near with the river ** This is the best corner in the resort ** By the way, i have to give the credit for the girl at the Front. Furthermore, if you need to bring your dogs with you they also allowed (I also brought 2 dogs) with pay additional charge which you can ask direct with the resort.

Resort for those who want to escape all hectics...”
We enjoyed our stay at this resort very much. Le lait room was designed nicely with big window glasses so we can see green surrounding directly from our bed. Rooftop is even nicer with mountain view all around. The green and quiet atmosphere keep us calm and relax. Breakfast is also nice even though it is not buffet. Really suitable for the couple or those who want to get away from hectics. However, it would be best if you drive there as the resort is not on the main road, though it is not so far from popular attractions

We had the medium cottage for our stay. The room was large and comfortable but the water heater just didn't work. The surrounding environment in the resort was very nice with mountain and creek. The resort located away from the people but not too far from other attractions. I would recommend anyone to stay at this resort.

Relaxing with green surroundings”
the resort is surrounded by such a very nice beautiful green mountain with a small watercourse. located quite a distance from the main road but if u have your own car then that wont be a problem. not far from Suan Phung famous spots. the room has a nice comfy design but the cleanliness was not so perfect.

Nice, quiet resort among the hills”
We chose this resort to stay in this resort, just because it is pet-friendly. We find this resort quite far away from attractions, no restaurant in house (they just serve breakfast), but the view from the bed room is breath taking with hills and stream around. It is a good place to relax if you would like to get away from the crowd.

Good location”
We stayed 3 days in this peacefull little Resort. Roomsize ok but lacks of a table and chair and more light. If only could this Resort and many others put a stop to Thai-style shower without even a curtain between shower and toilet to avoid when shower the toilet get all wet!! Breakfast not up to a 3 star Resort. With a little improvement we will come back again.

Poor reservation”
We returned back to the Porploen resort again at December 10th, 2016. This time, we booked one 4-person room and one 2-person room. On the day of travelling, we were informed that our rooms were given to the other guest already because of their mistake. So the resort give us one 2-person room with additional beds at that resort instead and asked remaining people moved to another poor resort besides the Porploen resort without any compensation.

Close to nature, clean and good wifi”
Overall the resort property was very idyllic for a quite and relaxing time, with a running stream in the garden. Good wifi. Stores nearby closes around 7,8 pm and the closest 7eleven is 8km away.

Unpleasant and disappointing ”
It was very disappointing. There are lizards crawling around the room walls as well as on the curtains. Problem connecting to the WiFi. Unable to contact the reception staff as there isn't a room telephone and no mobile signal in the area. If we were to exit the room to approach the staff, a high possibility that more lizards will enter into the room as there were plentiful of lizards crawling around outside the cottage. No table in the room and the toilet door cannot be shut properly externally within the room. Thus, the air conditioner is insufficient to cool the room. Despite informing the staff about this issue, they are reluctant to resolve it or moved us to another cottage although my partner and I were the ONLY guests in the resort. The toilet basin is also leaking at the bottom. Shower water is not strong enough and the different types of water patterns from the showerhead is not working as it should have been. The ultimate decision to stay only for one night although we booked for two nights was when the Geckos chirping during the night actually send a strong vibration inside the room which made my partner extremely terrified and suffered a sleepless night. The breakfast was equally disappointing we were disturbed by unwanted guest (black cat) which kept roaming and meowing around our breakfast table requesting for food. In the end, my partner and I fed the cat with 80% of our breakfast.

The resort's garden is nice and the surrounding is pleasant and relaxing, the room on the other side is less than what you can expect for a "discounted" rate: spartiat (no furniture, and the cheapest bed and mattress available on the market). The room was obviously designed by an amateur with no experience in the hotel and resort business, it also lacks maintenance and cleaning. We quickly discovered that we were not the only guest in the room as there were plenty of flying, scrolling and sneaking pests in it (giant mosquitoes, geckos, snail and slugs). But what I really don't like is to get ripped off.
