Could be a great spot to stay, great location and views, but not clean on arrival. Took us 2 hours of cleaning before we could settle. Unacceptable.
Best ever tub and service
John and Joan Walters”
Quite dusty on higher shelves e.g. where tv sat. and obvious cob webs from the ceiling Wet carpet in front of the fridge Quiet location and to be able to open the windows is always a plus.
Great place, had a wonderful time with no interuptions. It was like having our own house. The bathroom door didn't close properly though and the room arrangement could be better. I will definitely stay again maybe in the honeymoon suite instead.
Don greeted us will a friendly call before we checked in and also once we arrived. He was extremely pleasant to talk to and provided great service where required. The apartment is very modern with a great view over Hobart City. The location was very convenient as it was close to the supermarket and tourist attractions. I would happily stay here again in future return visits to Hobart city.
Good price but thin walls”
Walls are very thin. Could hear phone conversations etc next door. No aircon or good air flow. Lovely owners though good location great price.
The units in question were constructed using best method available including sound proof plaster etc --it has not been a problem to this point --but then again .We do not advertise air conditioning in any of our specifications we can only apologise if this customer has been given incorrect information--it would not have been made in effort to mislead anyone
Wasn't clean enough.”
They didn't change bed sheets as we found some hair on the bottom sheet and the bottom sheet wasn't flat ,like just after last guests left then make bed for next guests and mugs wasn't clean either. When we put hot water in the spa,we saw some hair and oil in the water, when we want to take shower there was no hot water at all... When I booked this accommodation I was very exciting but now very disappointed.
Bed linen is always changed --our linen is professionally cleaned --it is possible a hair could be on the linen we are all human and sometimes something could be overlooked --each unit has sixty gallons of hot water and can only assume it was drained by those using the room there is little anything could be helped in this case as it was self inflicted
Loved staying at this apartment, great value for money and nice and cosy. Love the spa. Thank you. Would recommend to anyone that wants to be close to Hobart and for a hide away little place to stay.
Thank you for staying with us your feed back is most welcome
Amazing view, needs some love ”
Beautiful view, and a cute cabin. The lounge area needs a couch though! We moved the bed into the lounge during our stay so we could lie in bed with the view. Was a little dirty, had to rewash the cups before we could use them, needs a good vac and dust. The coffee machine needs instructions. would stay again, but not in this particular room
Quite an amusing review --anyone who would go to the trouble of moving a bed to look at a Veiw would stay again but not in that room incredible as that is only room that has a Veiw hard to fathom --
Poor Service, dirty bathtub(spa)”
First, sorry that we checked in late on the arrival. But the host is quite rude on us. We reserved for the honeymoon suite, which has a spa tub. We want to use it after long journey of travel, but after we had a short shower, the tub was full of mosquitos. Tht is so so disgusting. The room provide some coffee powder and tea bags, but the cleanliness of the container is no good. You must hv a car in order to access to the hotel.
Check in late is not a problem as we can leave key in that instance but when people go off for meals etc and advise they are happy to let themselves in only to call me at some ungodly hour because they were unable to find their way in I make no apologies if I may have been a bit short would suggest staying at a serviced property in future
Great. Would definitely stay again if it wasn't for a little spooky encounter
Something different in Hobart”
Clean, quiet, relaxing.
Thank you the way you describe our property is how we hoped people would find it
Our stay was short but sweet”
The apartment was comfortable and clean. Parking was a real issue but is our only complaint.
Great B&B with high privacy”
Recommended, but ensure you have private transaport
Comfortable, hassle free, relaxing”
A great place for couples to stay. Wonderful views”
A great place for couples who want a bit of privacy. Better value than staying in the city, but still close to the city centre (less than 10 minutes by car). Love the bathroom and spa!
Hard to find, very poor set up”
the cottage was a good size but the cutlery was mismatched, parking was very tight, breakfast basket was very minimal - no bread for the butter and jam to go on, no yogurt for the muesli, no ground coffee for the coffee machine. the bed was comfy. it was not very easy to locate the cottages. the cottage was not very clean.
Feelings of warmth”
We submitted a review earlier and perhaps it wasn't posted because it echoed other reviews, but to be sure, we found possums to be a fabulous place to stay! It felt welcoming and had no sense of hotel sterility. We were surprised by a complimentary breakfast and fell in love with their complimentary sage lotion to sooth our sunburn ( which no one on the mainland believed we got inTasmania). Altogether a fabulous trip
It was a smart choice to go Possums, private little apartment with all-what-you-need inside. Very close to city and easy to parking. Highly Recommended.
