Great little hotel”
We stayed at Poste 43 due to a good deal on agoda! The hotel is modern and new, it's very clean and the staff are very very friendly. We had a little trouble initially finding it (taxi driver didn't know where it was), but it's actually very close to the riverside which is a handy location for sightseeing. They give you a map when you check in which has the hotel marked on it, so we just used that to show future taxis! Just a small tip.. You can catch an express water taxi up the river (about 5 mins walk from hotel) that stops near all temples for only 15baht per person... Quite different to the 1500baht rides the tuk tuk drivers try and sell you! Overall very clean new hotel which served our needs. We would definitely return!

Helpful Staff, Good Breakfast”
I chose Post 43 Residence as a cheaper option for attending a conference at the nearby (5 minute walk) Sheraton. This part of Bangkok has few budget options and I think I've stayed in most of them. A nice hotel - newly refurbished and with good quality fittings (bathroom, TV, fridge etc). Mine was a small room but OK. The wifi internet is strong enough but ask if the wifi is working on the 5th floor before accepting a room there. The staff are trying very hard to make this a good hotel and are friendly, genuine and helpful. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel and the price but be aware that if the hotel is not busy the breakfast is not buffet and the choice is more limited. Overall a good choice for my purposes and I'd likely book again.

We had a great time at this hotel. Only positive comments. the staff is very friendly and helpful (walked with us only to make sure the taxi used his meter). The room are great and very comfortable. Location seems far away from the city center at first, but after 3 min walk and for only 15 bath, a taxi boat takes you to the Grand Palace. Getting a taxi is easy and not more than 100 bath to go pretty much everywhere downtown. If I wanted to be picky; I would say the only thing on which progress could be made is the breakfast (good breakfast, but same every day) In a nutshell, I highly recommend Poste 43 Residence.

Nice hotel for a short stay”
We stayed here for a few nights on a quick trip to Bangkok. It was a pleasant hotel, though the rooms looked much grander in the photos. The bathrobes were a nice touch. We were comfortable here and enjoyed exploring Chinatown and travelling around by boat, both easy walks from the hotel. There was a lot of great streetfood nearby, but you can say that about nearly anywhere in Bangkok!

Hotel at a Peaceful Area”
Everything is good for me. it is good hotel for me put luggage and rest for six hours and take shower. From the hotel to shopping area only took about a few minutes with Taxi and it never cost more than 100 Baht. 10 mins Walking distance to Lebua for expensive drinks at rooftop bar. Very close to Sheraton, only 5 mins walking distance for business conference. It is easy to get a taxi nearby the post office. After 12am, the hotel is locked, however, the safety guard will open the door for you. overall, nice experience. Hotel without a lift is not a big problem for a young person like me. in the end, it is what you pay for, value for money!

A decent mid-range hotel”
Poste 43 is a decent little hotel in a very mercantile area. There's not a ton to do close by nor are there a lot of mid-range, sit-down restaurants. The best thing about it is that it is a reasonably priced alternative to the Royal Orchid Sheraton if you have a conference there. This is a 5 floor hotel with no elevator, so be prepared for a climb! The windows could use some sound-proofing as it sounds like they are open even when they are not and the area can be a bit noisy at times. Breakfast has a nice selection of fresh options, both Western and Eastern. Brewed coffee would be a great improvement. Carpet on the stairs is looking really old and dirty but the laminate floors in the hallways are really noisy, especially with the spaces under the doors. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

Good Hotel in an Area with Few Cheaper Options”
My second stay here and it was a good experience again. I booked as a cheaper alternative for attending a conference in the Sheraton nearby. Clean room, adequate breakfast and very nice, helpful staff. No elevator so book a lower floor if you have a lot of luggage. A good cheaper option in a part of Bangkok that has few lower cost options. Would stay again.

ok .this location is hard to find if you don't know your way around Bangkok,even our taxindriver had difficulties. The hotel is located in the jewelry area so you woun't find any goor restaurants nearby and most shops close early so the streets are 'abandoned' early at nigt (gost town) don't walk around on your own. Very close to the grand post building (landmark)

Great place to stay especially for the price. All accommodations were great but the shower was very disappointing. Staff was always helpful - even getting a taxi from the street at 5am!!

Great alternative to staying at expensive Sherton ”
We were attending a conference held at the Royal Orchid Sheraton only minutes away, so this hotel was a great alternative to staying at the overpriced Sheraton. The rooms were comfortable and there was wifi offered however it wasn't always a strong signal on the 3rd floor. Right across the road is a lovely little Turkish restaurant, Angelica's, which we ate at almost every night during our stay here. The location is the only downfall- the area is filled with silver shops and that's about it...it is also dead at night. We would have never stayed in this area had it not been for the conference. Overall, great little new hotel, but in a poor location.

Local area, Clean and well-furnished room”
The reason why I selected this hotel was I had some work around Bangrak area, though the location was not so convenient with public transportation. Otherwise, I highly recommend this area if you want to experience the local community instead of touristic spots. We were having good breakfast with local people while watching their daily activities in the morning. The room is well-furnished, clean and good for short-stay. If they have the elevator it will be perfect. I will come back next business trips.

The cons. Building rather shabby, old wall to wall in the room, no breakfast. The pros. Good location, perfectly clean, cosy corner with hot water, tea and coffee availablein the lobby area. Nice room with appliences working.

Worth the money”
The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is located slightly further from town, about 10 minutes walk. Except for not having a lift and have to climb the stairs to 5th floor, everything was alright, worth the money.

Very good. The area around the hotel is not very interesting but it is in a great location if you are attending conferences at nearby major hotels and don't want to pay the rates at the major hotels.
