Potts Point hotels & accommodations

simple and cosy room, bathroom was big, free-wifi was good. it's conveniently near to King Cross Station. no breakfast or in-house cafe, however, there are plenty of food outlets around. Potts Point is a red-light district, but it's definitely safe and the hotel location is not on the main street/area of such activities, hence, it was quiet and not much action. overall...

This little hotel is a gem in Potts Point. It's a great location - walking distance to restaurants, train. The staff were lovely. The rooms were spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The rooms are small, but if you are not looking to spend a lot of time in your room, it was fabulous. I'd definitely stay again. Wendy

The reception and operational staffs were very caring and accommodating. We were given the opportunity to check the available room options for our preferred views. The overall check-in process was efficient noneteheless. The room and the facilities were very clean with fresh ambiance. Good Wifi and comfortable bed. The kitchen and coking amenities are an extremely us...

Kings cross has definitely cleaned up its image. The location is fine access to Potts Point and Elizabeth bay are walkable. The hotel is budget but that is what you pay for. I recommend the top floor as very quiet and at the back. A van arrives every half hour to airport and is cheaper than train.

(booked double ensuite room at the 3rd Floor) budget accommodation helpful and polite staff (provided assistance on tours, airport shuttle and electric adaptor) easy check-in and check-out cozy room / small bathroom comfortable bed with hot and cold shower basic traveller needs met (soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, towels, linens, electric fan, ref., LCD TV, wifi, ...

We have stayed three different times and we will definitely be back we love everything about it its the best value for money in our book. We have already told many friends and will pass it on to others when our friends go to Sydney for a break. Thank you

Ideally located in Potts Point near the edge of Kings Cross, it was the perfect launch pad for seeing Sydney. With great cafes and restaurants within 100m, Kings Cross Station nearby and the ability to walk into the city through the botanic gardens, we will stay here again. Sound does carry so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs

It is a good place in Sydney: cheap and good location. The kitchen in the evening is very dirty because the guys in the hostel they don't have any education about it. There is right that will be a fine of 50$ if you don't clean but at that time in the hostel there is any worker so no control. But all the rest is good and very nice atmosphere and the staff was very nice...

I originally booked with another service apartment about 2 blocks from Waldorf but switched in a heartbeat when I saw the size of the room! I did not regret the switch about 5 days before we flew to Australia. The atmosphere of the place is homey & cozy. Asif, who was at the front desk was very friendly & accomodating. We reserved 3 rooms & Asif was so nice to give...

I chose the Holiday Inn Potts Point as it was central to the cafes, restaurants and activities we had planned. Unfortunately the room pictures on Agoda did not match the room type (I thought we had booked a much larger suite), however the hotel staff were amazing and made up for this with exceptional service, a much appreciated gift of drinks sent to our room, and brea...

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, as were the other guests - most of them you could tell had been staying there a while, so were friendly and at home. The room was clean but small and narrow so not much space for your luggage. Wifi worked great in the room. Location was great for Kings Cross and Potts Point. Cheap and cheerful.

Nicely kept rooms, thoughtfully provided maps of different areas. GREAT location : turn left and chic Potts Point leads onto, er, 'lively' Darling Hurst Rd, turn right and you're in Wooloomooloo Harbour and the Botanic Gardens. Gorgeous! Lovely cafe next door for breakfast. Wish it had a lift though!

I would stay at the lodge again definitely and would highly recommend it to any traveler. The lodge is in the very quiet area of Potts Point (Kings Cross). The bus stop to the city center (Town Hall) is only about 1-2 min walk from the lodge, so most attractions are within 30 mins by bus and/or train. Also, grocery stores are nearby, so are restaurants for any budge...

The manager was amazingly helpful, well above expectation. After arriving in Sydney with heavy suitcases we rang the hotel to see if they had room to store the suitcases until the room was available. The Manager offered the room immediately (as it had not been rented out the night before) at no additional charge. The following day, the manager assisted us to find s...

With location so strategic within the city, one minute walk away from Kings Cross station and surrounded by lively neighborhood of Potts Point and Darlinghurst, it's really easy to go every where during our 3 days stays. Summer House Staff is lovely!! Big shout out to Georgia and Jana. Very warm welcome in Summerhouse. +Amazing social hostel, good location, free brekkie, clean rooms, activities. - The showers could be better - at some point boiling hot or freezing cold but rarely something in between. There is one or 2 showers where you can actually regulate the temperature :-) But a...

I had a great three night stay at Blue Parrot Backpackers. The hotel is conveniently located near Kings Cross station which makes it easy to get to and from the airport, into town and to Bondi Beach. So close to the train station and great location. Neighborhood gets a little noisy on the weekends, and there are strip clubs across the street. I did not mind this at all, but I know some people would. I stayed in the summer and there was no a/c but there was a really good fan. I had a great time there and felt very safe!

Check in was smooth and fast. Staffs are all very friendly and willing to help out and guide me if i have any questions. Free wifi all over the hotel even in your own room. Free breakfast to keep you fuel for the day. Have daily activities to ensure that the night is not boring at all. All in all it is a very good experience and i am comfortable with it. The only bad t...

we had four nights in jolly swagman. initially, i am worried after running through some bad reviews of the hotel eg: bad rooms v poor facilities, lots of night drunken etc. however, my overall stay is quite smooth and nothing much to complain given the cheap prices they charged. before arriving, i actually sent an email to jolly expressing my concern on the stay and ho...

We loved this place! We made new friends in seconds and had a few amazing days at this place! Its a home away from home. I did not have a lot of expectations as the price was low for Sydney. And if I was not disappointed I was surprised positively. Staff is friendly, breakfast is awesome (and free !) : pancake, milk, orange juice, bread jams, corns. It is open until 11am. Cleanness which was my biggest fear is really good. Everything is cleaned daily and room are deep cleaned twice per ...

We stayed for a week. Apartment is 3 stories up without a lift. The place was clean and apartment had all we needed but did not have air conditioning so it was necessaary to have windows open. From the time I arrived I found the staff (owner) very helpful. The location is excellent, very close to Kings Cross with all of the bars and eating places it has to offer but not so close that the busy night life disturbs the hotel.
