Great room and friendly staff”
I've been to many resorts in Thailand, but I had the best experience by far at PP Mountain Beach Resort and Water Park. The staff took care of us very well and made us very comfortable during our stay. Even though the water park part was not open all the way, they worked hard to open some parts and let us enjoy it. We had lots of fun. The breakfast was delicious, especially the shrimp fried rice. They bring it to your room every morning at the requested time, so it's like free room service! My favorite part though, was the room. It's big, clean, and everything is new. The bathroom is also very big with plenty of hot water, which I didn't get at some hotels in Thailand. I think the room is just as good as any 5-star hotels I've been to. Also, the staff are super friendly and kind. Now I know why they call Thailand "The land of smiles". The private beach has beautiful white sand and is very quiet, perfect for relaxation. If you like partying, the town is only a few minutes away from the resort, lots of bars, clubs abd shopping there. The staff is happy to drive you there and back. Overall, i give this resort 10/10, and will definitely go back with family and friends

We have been on Phi Phi Island for 6 night and wanted to finish our trip in an fun hotel for our young children. The staff met us at the pier and took our bags in a trolly (the let our hot and tired children aged 5 and 7 ride in the trolly as well) and we walked for about 5 minutes where we were met by another friendly member of staff in a car. He drove us up the hill to the resort. Check in was quick and the lady on receptions spoke good English. Then we were shown to our room, it was a lot bigger than all the accommodation that we had stayed in in Phi Phi, it was spotless, there was a smart TV so we could watch Netflix in the evening, the bathroom was very modern and the shower was powerful. The resort was very very quiet we saw no other guests but we have been to Chiang Mai and other hotels on Phi Phi and it was the same. Staff and locals told us how hard the pandemic has hit them and tourism is very quiet! Our children couldn't wait to go in the pool. So reception turn on the water slides provided us with life jackets and off we went. The water park was lot of fun, the pool was clean but some of the paint on the floor looked a bit tired but this didn't stop the fun. A member of staff kept out drinks topped up. The next day we went out on a fishing trip, the staff took us by car down the hill to town and we just had to text a call reception to be picked back up. During the fishing trip we caught a Trevally! We took it back to the hotel and the chef barbecued it for us and only charged us 150 baht! When it was cooked a member of staff delivered the fish and a side if chip to our room with a smile. It was so delicious. The Thai Breakfast was good and so were the pancakes but the American breakfast is the same as anywhere else in Thailand (strange sasuages, ham, egg and toast). We would stay at PP mountain beach resort again, it's in a good location very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The position of hotel is high on the hill, but easy to reach the amazing beach with the hotel shuttle always available, and also to reach the city center, amazing staff always extra polite, amazing food too. We had a fantastic time here

The Resort is still in construction phase but the staff made sure our stay was really pleasant. Transport to/from resort provided, beautiful beach and great place for snorkelling.

One of the best choice in Phi Phi”
- Staff is very nice nice and helpful. Special thanks for Mr. driver. - Food is so so. I can’t say I enjoy the food but for the money you pay it’s ok. - rooms are clean and comfortable - view is amazing - far from city but you have car which takes you to city and beach - beach is super nice and they have also sun beds there -we choose this hotel because of aquapark. Aquapark was the biggest disappointment here. We didn’t find it safe at all and the pools weren’t clean and pool walls you can see some insect or bugs or whatever it was - even not using pool I still believe that this is one of the best choice in Phi Phi for the money you pay. I will come again - this was our second stay in Phi Phi. Before we stayed in Holiday Inn. This location was better and beach more beautiful

Slightly neglected because of the lock down but the staff made sure that everything is switched on and ready to use when you need. Free shuttle to beach or town till 9pm. After that you pay a small fee. Live the place

Horrible stay”
We have stayed at the resort for a night and we are the only guest in that resort. The resort is too far from the main city. They don't have any facilities available at the resort. The manager and the staff are too good but due to the lower number of guests, they are also not able to provide the services. We have waited for an hour at Pier before we can go to the hotel. Room and breakfast have small ants. Overall a horrible stay. And yes, the waterpark guy is brilliant in terms of photography skills. Considering we are the only guest in waterpark, he has made our stay a memorable one.

We book two rooms for 3 adults and 3 childrens. Staff on reception ask to pay 2000 baht for children bed., price we pay for a room. No peoples on the area, but no offer for upgrade with seaview. Bath room cracy, water everywhere. But about that, all ok, nice stuff on breakfast and on car to the beach.

Half open. not very pleasant stay”
We were part of the few customers there and obviously they were not expected more customers. The park was open but not clean (green water and slippery grounds). breakfast was the strict minimum. At last the office Mgmt wasn’t very helpful. Only positive point was the View and the free shuttle service down to PhiPhi. Won’t come back there again as the price was still premium despite the above 😠.

Living at a construction site”
+ beautiful appartments + lovely breakfast - shuttle service to beautiful beach. + Free long boat pick up from ferry. - Large parts of the facilities are still being constructed. Place swarmed by workers doing everything but working, ie using swimming pool, hangong around ice cream bar with no products... - The water park is totally surreal - fun though, but no safety measures - a bloody accont waiting to happen! - We were practicslly alone. No guests, and no one using water park. - smiling staff doing theit best, but total lack of management guidance makes it a service-hell. Not able to make decisions. We booked the return trip to Phuket door-door through hotel. Still they managed to tell us we had plenty of time for trip, and we could drop of a family changing rooms at hotel. 10 minutes later they told us that the boat had left.

Front desk was unprofessional. Had the girlfriend call the staff because nobody told us that transportation would be so difficult to get to. If you take the longtail its 100 baht a person to arrive and you still need to call the hotel for a truck pickup. This should be explained when booking and by the front desk when you call them. The room had issues with the TV. Good points are the pool, the bedroom, and the breakfast.

One day on phiphi Island for the child, I decided to stay with a water slide. It was good that there were no people in the pool, but it was a shame that the facilities were so crude. The staff were all too friendly, perhaps because there were few people. And the shower water was too weak. The view is good.
