Spacious and cozy, not that far from the beach”
We enjoyed the place very much during our 4-day stay in Ao Nang. This is definitely great value for money as you get very spacious room, enormous bed, large balcony and a comfortable bathroom. The room was exactly as we expected based on the photos. The furniture may be a bit old fashioned but still very cozy. We also had an amazing view on the mountain (or is it cliff?). It comes with a drawback of the road just beneath your window, but for me it was mid-noisy at night, and I'm a sensitive sleeper. The staff was friendly, room was kept clean and tidy. And what's more, it's been the fastest in-room WiFi connection I've ever seen in a hotel. It's maybe a bit far from the Ao Nang beach and you have to walk a bit uphill to get to the hotel, but if you're in for an evening walk, that should not be a problem. Thank you Pranang Flora House!

Pleasant stay”
We've booked a family room with extra bed without breakfast. We stayed at Pranang Flora for 2 nights, promo price was afordable. The room was big and comfortable enough for 3 people. Staff was super friendly and helpful! They even provided us beach mats and it was very convenient! It takes roughly 10 minutes to get from the Pranang Flora to the Ao Nang beach, but for us it was not a problem at all! I can highly recommend this hotel for short stay, especially if you don't plan to stay at the room and going to Krabi for beach/island rest!

We had a pleasant stay at Pranang Flora Hotel. The staff at front desk..her name is Miss Pon and another female staff was very2 friendly and accomocating to all our request They really help us feel comfortable. They also managed to help us with our sightseeing tours and transportations and the prices given were very2 much cheaper than those reviews that we read at the internet. For those going to Krabi...look for Miss Pon at the Pranang Flora hotel. Well done Miss Pon and her friend..you make our holiday stay WONDERFUL..!!!!

great hotel with great location”
We took a bus from Phukhet Patong to Krabi, it took about 2 and half hours. we stayed for 4 days at Pranang Flora House Hotel. it is very comfortable, clean and enjoyable. the staffs are excelent always willing to help and accomodate with smiles. the female staff her name is (Nom),speak good english and really helpful. the location is quiet and you just take 10' stroling down the beach. we would stay at the hotel again, if we have a chance to come back to Krabi.

Comfortable & Clean hotel”
Stayed at Pranang flora house during christmas peak period and have chosen Pranang flora house as it's reasonably price considered travelling at peak period. Was pretty pleased with the comfortable and clean room although the hotel exterior was not very well-furnished/modernized. It has more of a homely feel rather than resort feel and I like it very much. Staff was friendly, internet connection was fast. Location was near to local restaurants.

Huge clean rooms”
our hotel was very comfortable to be in. it had a large room with a massive bathroom and all was very clean. receptionist was very friendly and helpful. we really like ao nang because the town was not that big but also big enough and the prices were cheaper than other places (eg phi phi and phuket) the beach was lovely to swim in and there was a beautiful sunset. would defiantly come back here and stay at pranang flora house again.

Great stay at Pranang Flora”
We stayed at Pranang Flora House from 2014-Dec-24~28 at reasonable rate during super-peak Christmas season. It was a great deal. Hotel location is strategic, 3 min walk to major restaurants nearby, 12 min walk to beach and motorbike rental is located next to it (200B/day). The staffs are friendly and helpful, always greet and welcome guests with smiles. The room is clean, spacious and if you are unfit to climb the staircases, remember to reserve room at lower floor due to no escalator/lift available. It was a great stay in overall.

Comfortable, clean and convenient”
I stayed at Pranang Flora House for 5 nights, and had a great stay. The room was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a great balcony, and since I was on the top floor, I could see a partial ocean view from it, along with the cliffs to one side. There is definitely road noise from the room, but I always sleep with earplugs, and just make sure to have the balcony doors shut (most people will use the AC anyway). The wifi speed was decent, and I was able to work from the room effectively as well. Laundry is possible in the hotel, for 45 baht/kilo, and it's very easy to walk over to get the public bus into Krabi or towards the beach, if you don't feel like taking the 10-15 min stroll past all the nearby shops and restaurants. I would definitely return to this hotel if going back to Krabi, based on the value and proximity to the beach (as all of the beachfront hotels will be a lot higher in price).

Clean, comfortable and excellent service”
My stay at the Pranang Flora House Hotel was excellent. At first, we were slightly worried when we arrived because the hotel is part of the attached complex with other hotels next to it and only 4 parking spots available. So we expected a dingy little place for what we paid for (which is rather cheap). However, it turns out that our room was huge and very clean,very equivalent to the five star hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant right across the street for the local, so you can grab a quick bite. Even after our check out, we went to Railay beach and was soaking wet on the way back, the staff was kind enough to let us use the restroom to change into dry clothes, which was great of them. I would highly recommend this place.

the hotel very clean, everyday the housekeeping will come to each room to clean-up everythings,the staff very friendly ,kind and helpful. below the hotel, u can rent the motorcycle, front of the hotel you can get halal food . its very easy and comfortable . if i go to krabi for next time for sure i will choose pranang flora house again👍🏼👍🏼

Great staff, lovely hotel”
Honestly, this is the best hotel I have stayed in Thailand and with the most friendly staff from all hotels i have ever stayed. Hotel is not the most luxury hotel in Ao nang but rooms are clean and big enough with TV (i never used) and fridge. Free 2 bottles of water every day. Distance from beach is around 10 minutes walk, but if you are lazy enough, you can get tuk-tuk in front of the house for €1. I tried only once when i was in hurry, otherwise the walk is actually very nice and i get more familiar with all restaurants, bars and shops. What makes this hotel special is definitely staff. I remember only Eak and Non, but all of them are amazing. Nothing is a problem for them, they are still smalling and will do anything for you. Later during my traveling i was so sorry that i left this hotel as i didnt find any hotel with the service as in Pragnan flora. I will definitely come back.

Nearby to halal food & Big rooms”
Halal food are just nearby and easy to walk around. The room is big and no issue with the aircon as mention to some is not cold enough. It feel perfectly fine to me and at the same time its raining everyday there and cooling weather to walk around. There are some great staff and some are not. Their tour activities price are far cheaper than outside and some are still able to bargain. Also can book Airport transfer for your last stay as it can be negotiate thru together with your activities tour to get cheaper price. There were issue of no elevator and upon checking in we were to stay in their sister hotel just beside Pranang flora for 1 night as their reason is aircon issue and I would think its fully book there even though we already paid for it. But we move back to the hotel the next day only able to check in after our day tour trip. Overall I would stay there again as the thing i need around was easy for me. There's nothing much at Ao Nang beach so it didnt bother me if near beach or not.

with abt $20/night, it is a really surprised hotel. The room is big, bed/linen are clean, hot water, wifi, balcony, everything looks at least as good as picture and NEW. To me it should cost more than I paid. I recommend you to stay here on family and budget travel. Can walk to the beach in 10 mins without problem. Staff is friendly. Tour & taxi are also available to book at hotel at best price compared to other stores. Krabi people are in general warm, helpful than bangkok's. I am impressed and thankful Tips: Choose room 201 with kingsize bed room. If Flora is full, dont worry, next to Flora there are 3 or 4 other hotel with same arrangement and price. Heard that their owner are the same family.

Pranang Flora House - value for money!”
Pranang Flora House is very good value for money. Eventhough its quite far from the beach, the walk along the road to the shops was enjoyable. I booked a standard room for such a good value, I was very pleased with the quality of the room and the cleanliness (which I am always particular about). It was very spacious, I had my own balcony and safety deposit box. The staff was very kind and helpful, they even booked my snorkelling tour and shuttle bus tickets for me. I was given advice by the lovely lady at the reception desk about my tour options, giving me the pros and cons of each tour. There are a number of food stalls near the place and a new 7-11 store opened up while I was there so it was convenient to run out and grab a snack. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. They made my trip hassle-free and enjoyable.

Nice clean rooms”
I have stayed in pranang flora for four days and it was pleasant experience overall. The rooms are big and clean and the staff are very friendly. The location is just right and close to all restaurants and 7/11 etc. The city view room got great view of the cliff and sea which was just awesome. This hotel is a great value for money and I would love to stay in flora again.

We stayed here for seven nights and really enjoyed our trip to Krabi in Pranang Flora! :) If you don't need a swimming pool or spas in your hotel, we recommend this hotel very warmly. Beach is 10 minutes walk away. The value for money is really good.

Great for first timer to Ao Nang / solo travelers.”
Stayed in Room 204 from Feb 2-7. Overall was great. Notable observations and areas of improvements will be the following : 1) A sign pasted on the wall to remind hotel guests not to make noises is only written in Chinese. There are guests of various nationalities who may be responsible of being noisy too, may I suggest it to be written in English as well. 2) There were a few ants on the dresser and one night I came back to a bathroom sink with a small cluster of ants in it. 3) Entrance to the bathroom is raised, watch your step every time fellow guests. 4) There is also a very slight step to access the hand held “tap” beside the toilet bowl. The water did not drain away after I perused the “tap”. 5) Getting into and out of the bathtub requires a bit of effort for petites. 6) Bathtub is the deep western type, filling it up takes some time so I only did it on my first night and not bother with it throughout the rest of my stay. 7) Interior and furnishings are starting to show age, but still tolerable and usable. 8) The table and two lounge chairs set at the narrow strip of balcony does not create an al-fresco mood besides the air-cond compressor. A towel rack for guests to hang out their wet clothing will be more practical. 9) In-house wifi was not stable late at night – the connection dropped a few times so I resorted to using the 3G on my tourist sim card for an uninterrupted web browsing. 10) The flight of steep staircase was my first and last set of “exercises” daily throughout my stay :p Gave an average rating for food and dining as I did not have breakfast at the hotel. One morning I happened to catch a whiff of breakfast being made in the small kitchen and it smelt good :) Despite its shortcomings, I will still consider staying at Pranang Flora House again in my next visit. Never had I feel unsafe during my stay here. Thank you for making my Ao Nang trip a great one!

I stayed at Pranang Flora House for 2 night and booked 2 rooms . i go to Krabi with my friends. The hotel is not far to the beach we can walk about 10-15 mins. Staff are helpful and friendly and big room for budjet hotel. but in the room no. 304 can't use sink fauset.

Good Hotel in Krabi”
Was here in the 1st week of December 2009 - Travelled with family.On reaching the hotel was welcomed by the woman at the reception "NOM". Check in was 1 min. and then we were taken to our room. Room big sized and had everything in it (including a good aircon). They arranged Tours for us and "Tony" even took out some time and suggested some tours. Went for a tour with Phunaka Tours, great guide (her name Pun) and visited the Cat fish farm and went on Elephant trek. Beach is 10 mins walk from the hotel, they provide beach towels if required. The location is a bit up the hill from the main part of Ao Nang, but it's not that big a deal, as we enjoyed the walk back and forth. I would stay here again for sure. Overall a simple, efficient and well maintained hotel with friendly staff who make you feel at home.

Very nice place”
The hotel is at the top of a hill, just far enough away from the loudest noises on the street. The staff were all very friendly and warm. They will assist you with tour bookings. The room was a nice size, and they made animals out of the towels. That's what greets you when you first you in your room. My balcony view was of the hotel property behind us, and it had lots of foliage in front of it. For breakfast, they gave a checklist with egg, meat, and juice options. You can also check off fruit and toast.Bacon was my favorite. I asked for fried eggs once, but got an omelette instead. Fruit was different everyday.There is no elevator, so be prepared to get a stair climbing workout everyday (which didn't bother me) My only complaint would be that the bathroom didn't seem to get cleaned everday, like the rest of the room. The trash was taken out, but I don't think the sink was touched, and the tub was maybe just rinsed out. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay at Pranang Flora
