Awesome staff worker Summer went above and beyond giving advice on places to go around town, making dinner and hotel reservations for us. Room equip with microwave, dishes, hotpot, flatware. Would stay there again. Coin laundry available. Convenience store, gift shop and grocery store immediately outside front door. Breakfast buffet was so-so, everything else was great.

The location is very handy!!! if you are riding SkyBus from/to the airport, your nearest stop would be Drop Off/Pick up Point 9.. from there its 5mins walk to the hotel, just go straight towards the traffic light , cross the street and walk to your left!! beware of the 1 min walk uphill going to the hotel... If you are facing the hotel, to your left is a 3mins walk uphill walk to Skytower, while to your right is a 1 min walk towards Queen street, the shopping district!! The hotel is bit old but its very well maintained!!! will choose to stay again if given the opportunity to go back to Auckland!!!

Perfect location in the heart of the CBD. Staff were very friendly and let me store my backpack in locked room till my room was ready. Everything is within walking distance that I wanted to see with the ferry close-by. Cleanliness was top-notch in my hotel room and there was a good range of TV channels

If you need fancy wallpapers and soft furnishings then this is not for you. If you want a great location, well equipped clean warm rooms at a very reasonable price then this is ideal.

Good value for 5 of us”
With Agoda discounts this was by far the best value for 5 of us for this location- we booked a 1 BR suite and a separate triple bedroom for our 3 teens. Without even asking they had already organised our rooms to be next door to each other when we arrived. The staff were lovely, friendly and happy. Breakfast was included which was cereal, breads for toasting with usual spreads and to my surprise their was a set hot breakfast for room deals which was a big breakfast of bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, 2 hash browns, tomato, 2 breakfast sausages and baked beans. None of us could finish after having started with cereal so next day skipped the cereal. Breakfast staff and cook also lovely. Rooms are basic (as to be expected for the price and 3 stars) but ample space and sufficient for a stay when yore out and about. We had kitchenette and there was a good heater. Duvet was a bit thin- I'll request an extra next time I stay- which will be soon as can't beat the value.

Good value in great location”
This is not a fancy hotel and some rooms are better than others but you can't beat the location or the price tag for the city. It even included a big cooked breakfast we couldn't even finish. The staff on reception and in the kitchen were lovely.

This is a good value for money centrally located hotel. Small kitchen with sink, microwave, fridge, and kettle. Minimal street parking but we picked up our hire car on the last day of our stay. Close to Sky Tower and Queen Street. Very friendly staff.

It is in centre of everything.. grocery is on the next building.. across there is a foodcourt.. going upwards in 1 block away is Sky City.. going downwards in 1 block too is Queen street.. It is centrally located in Auckland City. It has big layout as well for their rooms.
