Great location but...
Good price with great location
No taxis at the lobby, no free pick up at ferry terminal.
unlike other major hotels in macau, hotel presidente doesn't have free pick up at ferry terminal. the lobby entrance doesn't have many taxis available. guests have walk outside of hotel lobby to catch a taxi which is a little bit inconvenient.

Great location with good and cheap rooms
Hotel room design is elegant, very near wynn
hotel toilet too small
the stay is very comfortable. it all started as soon as we stepped into the hotel. the staffs are friendly and helpful. it did not stop after we checked-in. the room was spacious. the bed was very comfortable. there is 2 super sing le bed. thus, almost everything was great in the hotel. the only negative was the small toilet. however, this factor could be overlooked.

Good location
A bit old
if you are casino lover, this will be a good choice. since the hotel in the middle of 5 major casino of macau, you can visit these casino within an hour from the hotel. you can also walk to the main shopping area within 15 min from the hotel. the hotel room are nice and clean, but a bit old. there are many mainland chinese smoking in the lobby which make me felt very uncomfortable.

The Presidente
Location, Service, and Security
Aging, Cleanliness, and Amenities
My stay at the Presidente was a good experience. The hotel has smallish rooms and could use some modern upgrades, however, the hotels staff was friendly. The location is great for exploring the casinos in the area. The casino in the hotel is very small with about tables--no other games. It has a restaurant but I did not eat there.

Good location but lack of certain facilities
good location, comfortable rooms
no free shuttle to town or tourist spots and no airport transfers
the hotel is of good location and nice rooms. they can improve on their shuttle services. it was the macau grand prix, so the streets were jammed and noisy. weather was great.

Comes with a great view
Proximity to heritage sites
the best way to explore a city's streets is by walking, which was what we did. hotel presidente is ideally situated in the heart of the old district of macau, where you can take in old european style architecture amidst a landscape of hustle n buslte of shops that sell of manner of eastern fare. cobbled stone alleys, terrazo paths, portuguese/spanish facades, eastern selling meats, medicine, motley stuff. the hotel is also conveniently located with walking distance of mgm, wynns and starworld casinos, if you feel lucky. the room was clean, with ample amenities. housekeeping staff was efficient and friendly.

Great location
No non-smoking rooms available when requested
Older building, but great location across from the Wynn and close walking distance to other landmarks. Great service when asking for the Internet connection cable.

Good value hotel with nice location
Good location
The hotel is a bit old on the exterior
this is a good value hotel that is very near to starworld, mgm and wynn. for the location, you will have to pay more if you are staying at mgm or wynn. the hotel is a bit old, that's why they offer a cheaper price. the interior is still pretty decent, and i enjoyed my stay very much. one interesting thing to note, there are hookers hanging outside the hotel late into the night, so families with children might want to avoid this place. the place is also very convenient with food stores located nearby.
