Agoda introduces bank transfers and other alternative payment methods to help Indonesians travel more

Travelers can now pay for their accommodation via bank transfers with BNI, CIMB Niaga and Mandiri Bank, in addition to payment options such as ATMs and over-the-counter payment at convenience stores
Paying for travel just got even easier as Agoda, one of the world’s fastest growing global digital travel platforms, introduces additional payment modes for Indonesian travelers. These new options, which include credit card free payment solutions such as bank transfers, help travelers gain access to Agoda’s great accommodation prices and book their travel more conveniently.
Travelers can now do bank transfers with BNI, CIMB Niaga and Mandiri Bank, adding to the other convenient payment options including credit cards, ATMs, and over the counter payment at more than 25,000 Alfamart and Indomaret convenience store outlets nationwide.
“Being headquartered in Asia Pacific, we understand the region. Specifically in Indonesia, we know many people do not own credit cards, which is why we are excited to be able to offer various alternative payment methods so travelers can pay for their accommodation without hassle,” said Gede Gunawan, Country Director, Indonesia, Agoda. “We continue to innovate and provide solutions for customers to help them travel anywhere. For example, Indonesian travelers can soon look forward to booking without a credit card and paying for their bookings only when they check-in at selected properties worldwide. It’s something that’s proven popular in other markets, and we hope to make it available to Indonesian travelers later this year.”
