The place run by the owner, clean and safe. They are friendly and helpful. The local restaurants and fresh market are within walking distance. By tricycle takes about 5-10 minutes to Robinson mall (immigration) and 15 minutes to SM mall where you can get some international food if you get homesick. We recommend Prima Residence if you want to be out of the main Puerto Princesa city. We will definitely be back to stay here when we are in PPS. Y&G

Clean and comfy rooms at affordable rates”
prima residences is a bit far from the city proper, but if you are on a tight budget then prima is a good choice for you. for only , you'll get a clean, air-conditioned room with a private cr and a led tv. the room also comes with a free breakfast for two! going to town only costs p10/pax. however, you may need to hire a tricycle going back if you're planning on staying late. you can hire a tricycle for only 50 pesos in the morning and 80-100 pesos at night. some tricycle drivers will ask for (which is way too expensive so don't fall for it). what i liked about the place is the way they took care of their clients. while high-end resorts/hotels will also go out of their way to care for their clients, they sometime lack the personal attention that is ever present in small lodgings like prima. promptness is something they need to work on, though. sometimes, they take too long to respond to emails or text messages. we also encountered problems (when we checked-in at the airport) coz our baggage came a bit late in spite of the fact that they promised to send it in ample time to the airport. but i guess, that can be forgiven as the place is run by lovely people. try booking your tours with them coz they have affordable rates (as opposed to the ones offered at other lodgings). the ug and honda bay tour they offered us only cost pax and it comes with a welcome dinner that is made up of steamed lapu-lapu, coke, rice, vegetable salad, seaweed salad, and clams.

prima residences provided everything we needed: there are utensils for preparing and eating our food, there is a dining table and four chairs so you can eat comfortably. the staff were helpful in providing information on attractions in the area: how to go there, the prices of transportation to them. there was no heater but you can use the stove and kettle if you need hot water.

lovely budget hotel and fantastic service!”
we chose the hotel via internet and it was the happiest choice, price was great, service was incredible, breakfast sufficient, refill of drinking water available, it was our first stay in palawan and we were very happy as we had all the support needed from the reception and the owner. we can recommend it !!! supermarket is 20 min away, the san hose 10 min walk, there is the new market as well. without being in the noisy city proper we manged to see all we wanted, it was easy to get a jeepney to the port or to honda bay. the most important very profesional service!!!

Good and peaceful budget place for those who do not need to be near central Puerto Princesa but value easy access out of town and fresh food (bus station nearby and the biggest public market). ALso for independent people with own transport like motorbike or car convenient as you may take both main roads out of town easier and thus save time in exploring environment. Owner and staff friendly and readily accommodate special wishes.

Ageing place with maintenance issues but still good value for money”
The residences have maintenance issues such as leaky plumbing, cobwebs, etc but everything does work, only just, so it's functional and the price makes it good value for money.

I stayed in this place since I was attending a conference in the Palawan State University. The accommodation is a very modest place so do not expect too much. There are some pitfalls like the erratic condition of the television, the faucet that you have to manually work around and the toilet bowl that does not flash easily. However, these are tolerable if you have been travelling in remote areas in different countries. The best asset of the place are their staff who will assist you willingly. Kat and Karen are very accommodating. The down side though is the location, a bit far from the city proper but you can ride a tricycle or multicab to access the city center.

It's not 5 star but very much value for money with very nice and friendly staff that went out of there way to help . it's a little way from town and things to do but was not a problem. If you are looking for a budget place to stay that is big on service with very good fast Internet clean simple rooms with plenty of hot water and friendly staff this is the place to stay

Good price and we got a room upgrade ”
Very cheap, very helpful and nice staff. The rooms were clean and decent with cable tv but don't expect much from the decor. Bathroom has hot shower. We arrived late and they upgraded one of our rooms since it was available. Breakfast was simple and nice with a few choices but the breakfast area is awesome. Definitely recommend!

stayed there for one night. since we are family of 9 pax, we were able to save money since the room we get has kitchen and complete cooking tools. very clean and safe place. quite place also. nice place if you want to relax. i would definitely recommend this place.

rooms a bit small, but good enough for the nights. tv mostly filipino channels. its near the north bus terminal (and near robinson mall) but a bit far from puerto princessa down town

good facilities at reasonable price”
i booked the 2-bedroom apartment for me and my family. it was complete with everything you would look for in a house. we could cook whatever we wanted, though the staff could prepare food for us if we ordered in advance. but just like it's supposed to be your house while on vacation, don't expect the staff to come in cleaning your dishes or fixing the room. we also had to bring in our toiletries and towels. but still, good value for money.

Good for transient but Amazing place”
First impression as soon as we arrived was dismay, hotel sign was torn down and faded, pathway is rough and muddy, the place looked like haunted, the room was rundown, the doors creeked , but as soon as we settled in our room, we felt comfortable, amenities satisfied our need after a long travel. We come back for sure.

The most that i enjoyed was the staff. Theyre very friendly and accomodating. The only downside was the proximity to the restaurants and other places to visit in the city proper if you dont have your own transportation. But its all good. The staff are more than willing to teach you how to get around the city

Hot/cold water with more than sufficient pressure. A.C. was ok , breakfast was basic and good. Television in the room. Perfect for one night stay (not stand) . Only one slight point of critizise is that we wanted to rent a scooter; it was 5 or 6 pm pm already, but they still were going to charge for the whole day: 600 php. No rates by the hour or half a day.
