Pros: staff was very great, they let us overstay and check out after our tour. Sat TV had good channels on. There was hot water. Breakfast was nice. Near bus terminal. Cons: one cockroach spotted during 3 night stay. Leaking water in bathroom. Extremely cold ac that you can't change.
Great breakfast! Excellent WIFI!”
Very close to San Jose terminal bus and a bit far of the city centre.
I stayed in this place since I was attending a conference in the Palawan State University. The accommodation is a very modest place so do not expect too much. There are some pitfalls like the erratic condition of the television, the faucet that you have to manually work around and the toilet bowl that does not flash easily. However, these are tolerable if you have been travelling in remote areas in different countries. The best asset of the place are their staff who will assist you willingly. Kat and Karen are very accommodating. The down side though is the location, a bit far from the city proper but you can ride a tricycle or multicab to access the city center.
Friendly, Helpful, Safe, Convenient & Peaceful. Fast Wifi Internet”
The place run by the owner, clean and safe. They are friendly and helpful. The local restaurants and fresh market are within walking distance. By tricycle takes about 5-10 minutes to Robinson mall (immigration) and 15 minutes to SM mall where you can get some international food if you get homesick. We recommend Prima Residence if you want to be out of the main Puerto Princesa city. We will definitely be back to stay here when we are in PPS. Y&G
Far, Stinky Place”
Location is quiet far from downtown area It is an apartment with very basic facilities. Kitchen area is stinky. I ended up not using any of their utensils, I stayed most of the time inside the bedroom. No Internet as opposed to what they had advertised Staff did not know I booked with them. I had to show my confirmed booking using my smart phone to convince them of my booking. Value for money--good considering that it is a furnished apartment.
Good for Sleeping”
The location was a bit far from everything. We were supposed to have 4 breakfast but we were served with only three. We had a car and they have a parking but difficult to maneuver especially when you are going out and the security/staff there did not help in anyway. They can see us going out but the security was just toying with his cellphone that we have to really explicitly inform him that the gate has to be opened. After he opened, he went back to his cellphone. The room though was very cheap and very good for groups. the beds were big and they have mini kitchen.
Far from the main City or town proper”
The staff are very accomodating. I even asked their housekeeper to iron my dress and she is very nice. I will give 5 stars for their housekeeper and front desk personnel. This place is a bit far from the main town or main city. It took me awhile to get a tricycle to bring me to Robinsons Mall. Most of the tricycle drivers declined to take me to the mall because they say it is out of their way and a bit far. But the fare is only 15 pesos, one way. Cleanliness-the bed is okay, comfy. Their pillows are soft. The bathroom needs more cleaning especially the sink and the trash bin has water in it and since it is made of metal, it is rusty and the smell was bad. The sink was clogged and the water was leaking. I stayed in room A1. They have wifi connection too. If you are in a tight budget, do not stay in this place because you will have to spend more money in transportation. It will cost you a lot. (Please do not mind my grammar😉😘😂)
The place was deary”
The misquoted net was torn open so the room full of mosquitoes. The walls peeling and the shower looks bad. We didn't stay there, left after 5 minutes in the room. I was scared to sit on the bad
Ageing place with maintenance issues but still good value for money”
The residences have maintenance issues such as leaky plumbing, cobwebs, etc but everything does work, only just, so it's functional and the price makes it good value for money.
Really enjoyed our stay”
Got the larger deluxe room, which was spaci
stayed there for one night. since we are family of 9 pax, we were able to save money since the room we get has kitchen and complete cooking tools. very clean and safe place. quite place also. nice place if you want to relax. i would definitely recommend this place.
value for money”
Good for transient but Amazing place”
First impression as soon as we arrived was dismay, hotel sign was torn down and faded, pathway is rough and muddy, the place looked like haunted, the room was rundown, the doors creeked , but as soon as we settled in our room, we felt comfortable, amenities satisfied our need after a long travel. We come back for sure.
-a bit hard to find -clean room -nice breakfast
Filipino home feels”
We got the room with kitchen, dining area, and receiving area. It felt like home, a typical small Filipino home
All round disappointing experience. ”
The place is run down looking and rooms are dreary and depressing. The staffs lack of interest and attention was pathetic. Waited in the heat15 mins after arrival at 2.30pm for room to be cleaned. Cafe not open, despite being advertised as open and its a fair way to the closest shopping area to get food and drink. We were woken at 6.30 am to have breakfast, which was hotdog, rice and boiled egg. No choice in any of this. No help getting transport and no help with anything. Moved to a much nicer place with excellent service 5 mins away!!
Basic facilities were excellent.”
Hot/cold water with more than sufficient pressure. A.C. was ok , breakfast was basic and good. Television in the room. Perfect for one night stay (not stand) . Only one slight point of critizise is that we wanted to rent a scooter; it was 5 or 6 pm pm already, but they still were going to charge for the whole day: 600 php. No rates by the hour or half a day.
Good price and we got a room upgrade ”
Very cheap, very helpful and nice staff. The rooms were clean and decent with cable tv but don't expect much from the decor. Bathroom has hot shower. We arrived late and they upgraded one of our rooms since it was available. Breakfast was simple and nice with a few choices but the breakfast area is awesome. Definitely recommend!
They arranged a hotel transfer for us, which was fairly reasonable. It is worth doing as it ii far out of the city and trying to get a taxi at the airport can be problematic. Everything was as expected, clean and comfortable.
