Despite its strategic location in Mount Austin, this hotel is extremely run-down and lacks even the most basic hospitality standards. I’m genuinely surprised a place in such poor condition is still operating. The front desk was manned by only one staff member, but to their credit, she was friendly. The room itself was disappointing. It had a strong musky smell the moment I stepped in. Everything looked old, poorly maintained, and extremely basic. The furnishings were worn out, and the toilet had a half-used shampoo bottle left behind — presumably by the previous guest — which housekeeping didn’t bother to remove. That alone speaks volumes about their hygiene and lack of attention to detail. The worst part was the noise. The room had zero soundproofing — I could hear everything: KTV singing nearby, cars and motorcycles from the road, and worst of all, conversations from the room next door. I woke up several times during the night due to guests dragging their feet, slamming doors, and talking loudly. If you're a light sleeper or value undisturbed rest, avoid this place at all costs. It was a vexing and frustrating experience. On a positive note, the water heater worked well, and the shower had strong water pressure. The staff, while limited in number, were friendly throughout. Still, these few positives are not enough to make up for the overall poor experience. I will not return, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or restful stay.
