Great for convenience depending on where you want to go. It's right at the periphery of the Jhb CBD, near Constitution Hill, the Market theater, Civic theatres, the World of Beer, Wits University, Park Station for Gautrain, Rotunda bus station. It will be great to have bottled water on check in as a coutersy as the water was brown and undrinkable. So you may need to purchase your own purified water if the hotel does not offer. We had breakfast and it was good, variety offered. I loved the bedroom, it was warm and gets a lot of morning sun. The big schlep is going to the toilet at night, the bathroom is not mes. The lounge area is extremely spacious! Uber/Bolt is just at the doorstep, so is food delivery services.

Spacious, comfortable room was a big draw. Staff were very responsive to our needs! Hotel has a good 360 degree view of the city at the top of the hotel. There is a pool and bar there as well. Do note limited wifi though, but 50MB per day is should be sufficient. We are thankful for the guards who warned us about the safety of the area.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel- We loved the little extra touches like a range of toiletries in the bathrooom (Soap, body wash, lotion as well as a handy little packet of tissues and a showercap) We also loved the kettle in the room- very helpful staff and the quick service we had. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the location ideal for us.

Spacious comfortable suites yet with nothing to write home about. Average hotel with very little to complain about. The kitchen doesn't have any utensils. It might help to get new lounge suite. Current ones are very old. The balcony is very dull. All in all the room should be upgraded/renovated.

Wonderful place to stay ”
I arrived late at night and the pleasant staff quickly ushered into my room. The hot bath and complimentary tea calmed me out of my late flight. And when in hit the bed , I was greeted with one the most comfortable beds ever. I opted for the continental breakfast and totally enjoyed the fruit and hot meal options. The pastries and fresh juices didn't disappoint either. I am definitely coming back...

I asked for a room with a tv and was given a suite which had a tv in the lounge but not in the bedroom. I was told that room service could bring me a ice bucket if I bought something for over ZAR50. Mind you, there are no ice machines on the floors. The wifi was practically non existing. Manager Reckson was the only nice staff member who listened attentively to my problems and did as much as he could. Systemically, the place is falling apart. Needs an overhaul. Check in experience was terrible with long waiting.
