Nestled in nature, this secluded resort offers a peaceful escape. The friendly staff provides excellent service. Enjoy stunning mountain views, a charming ambiance and privacy. The restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices and is popular among guests.
Few guests mentioned minor issues such as poor greetings, loud A/C, and limited outlets. The pool had cleanliness issues, and facilities were outdated, with low water pressure.

Despite being situated in a rural area of Maerim, this resort stands to be a unique experience, especially for nature lovers. We booked ourselves a villa facing the stream. Although, there were some mosquitos (cant be helped, it was part of the 'close-to-nature' experience), the service, food, vibes, and views were truly 5 star worthy. Yes, the location may not be ideal (especially for those wanting to explore the city), but you have access to so many attractions and hidden gems scattered around Maerim. Food at the restaurant was great as well! I'd highly reccomend the green curry infused spaghetti pasta. It's just chef's kisses. Although the complimentary Breakfast was simple and humble, We still looked forward to it every morning. On our last night, the staff were even kind and concerned for us to provide us with a free room upgrade, due to the rise of the stream water! The villa itself was great, but the upgrade brought our experience in proud Phu Fah Maerim to a whole new level! If you're willing to spend a bit more to get away from the mosquitos, but still be close to nature, I'd suggest booking the Fish trail Room where you get your own private pool, a big luxurious room, with comfortable bedding! There isn't a doubt I'll come back to visit this humble resort. If you're looking for a unique, relaxing, and enjoyable experience in the mountains of Chiang Mai, I'd highly reccomend booking your stay at this proud, hidden gem in the Maerim region.

They were very nice, the place is beautiful. The rooms were clean and unique design. The place felt very good vibes. The thai food is really good, very interesting flavours. The western food was terrible, but that’s ok - we’re not in the west! :)

The accommodation is beautiful, clean, and exceeds expectations. This is my first time staying here, and I love everything about it. The atmosphere, the amenities, the decor, and the attention to detail are all wonderful. There are embroidered fabrics, slippers, a hairdryer, and a frog-shaped faucet. The swimming pool is great as well. The staff provided excellent service, and the food was delicious in every dish. I really enjoyed the fresh shrimp curry; the sauce is rich and refreshing. The stir-fried vegetables were also very tasty. Thank you for the delicious food! For breakfast, I initially thought it would be small portions, but everything was abundant. The pickled mustard greens dressed with sauce were delightful. If I have the chance, I will come back in winter. (I have a suggestion—I noticed the rabbit's cage and wonder if it's too hot for them during the day. I would love for you to install a water sprinkler on the roof to provide some water for them if possible.) This is my first review because I was very impressed with this place. Everything is great; I have no complaints at all! 😁

I traveled with my husband and 2 young kids, 6 and 4 years old. Everybody loved this place. It’s very clean, nice design building, got music to play in a room. The music brought back many old memories and helped me appreciate life besides just working only. We love this place and looking forward to come back again. Well done with service.

I enjoyed my stay at Proud Phu Fah very much. The staff is very welcoming, and the environment is absolutely beautiful. It is definitely a remote location, so I encourage any guests to have a car/bike. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and I had a wonderful night sleep every night. The calm river flowing in the background made it very easy to sleep.
