Great hotel”
This was my second time staying at the BWP in Addis. From very early on, they were doing a very good job of protecting guests and staff from the Coronavirus. I have a lot of respect for how this hotel is run. Great staff. Great food. Clean, Comfortable rooms. I don’t mean to sound like a shill, but this place does exactly what you want a hotel to do.

Best Western Plus value for money”
The staff went out of their way to be helpful during our stay which was lengthened due to flight problems with Covid 19. The staff advised me to book online to save money, organized an uber taxi for a day outing, gave advice on local restaurants and places to shop. The rooms are clean and the facilities comfortable. Sun facing rooms were hot during the day.

It is located in the center of Addis Ababa. Supermarket, cinema and several malls around. The problem is the hot water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold. The room service enter the room without permission.

Despite a prepaid reservation, and the fact that we had stayed at the hotel for 6 days previously, we were unceremoniously denied a room as they were full when we returned from a one night stay elsewhere in Ethiopia. They had our email and could have advised us sooner but it was handled very badly and while they put us up in an in another hotel, it was inferior and inconvenient. Very disappointing... what is the purpose of prepaying ahead if they don't honour their commitment.

Worst Experience Ever!”
The ac wasn't working in my room, 709. So throughout the night, I was just sweating in bed in the sweltering heat. Basically, the fan was broken and there was no air circulation in the room. The next day the front desk got the techs to come check it out. After waiting 1.5 hrs, the techs said the fan wasn't working at all but they now got it to work after checking the rooftop. However, at 1am, it stopped working again on the 2nd night and so I spent another sleepless night there. Not only that, the wifi was spotty and didn't work most of the time. I also had a la carte at the ground level restaurant and it was atrocious. The papaya juice tasted like slushy water and the club sandwich didnt have the avocado that the menu said it had. However, the pros are that the staff were all very nice and helpful. The hotel is also well located and they have a free shuttle to and from the airport.

This hotel need to improve it with 1. The carpet need to clean very well. There is some paint on it. 2. WiFi not good for all rooms. Some of them has a good signal and others not. 3. The shower has big problem which is cannot stable water temperature. You have two options. First very cold or very very hot. If you want to adjust water temperature and put it in the middle the water temperature will be very cold and suddenly very very hot like from boiler it will burn your skin. It we’ll be cold then suddenly hot suddenly cold suddenly hot 4. Rooms a little tight. Has good balcony 5. Nice breakfast 6. Nice lobby

Ich war für eine Hochzeit insgesamt eine Woche in Addis und habe mich entschieden ins Best Western zu gehen. Diese Entscheidung stellt sich als Gold richtig heraus. Die Lage ist toll, sehr Zentral zum Flughafen und trotzdem habe ich davon nichts mitbekommen (Fluglärm), die Zimmer sind schön und ich hatte in der 9. Etage einen tollen Ausblick über die Stadt. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und an den Tagen, wo keine Feier war, genoss ich das sehr lecker Essen im Restaurant, war in der Sauna oder bei der Massage. Alles war super, daher würde ich wieder dort Buchen wenn es nach Addis geht.

位在最熱鬧的Edna Mall大街上，房間雖然很小，但是網路非常的快（實測1.1mb/s），比附近我住過的Monarch、Saro Maria、Golden Tulip都快非常多。Ramada網路速度也蠻快的，但是房間維持的不好，愈來愈老舊，這家Best Western Plus目前還是新的狀態，比較推薦入住。
