Sat in the most beautiful place eating breakfast ,overlooking the sea.”
Situated on the most picture perfect beech. Rooms were very comfortable and felt clean . Staff very helpful
Pros, Right on water, good breakfast. Cons, NO Hot Water, Air conditioning takes hours to cool off room, tiny old fashioned lock box. Cold shower. Bamboo decor that is very old. In high season it would be a huge mistake for the price, asking up to 9000 baht. Low season 2000 baht with breakfast is ok.
Ideally situated right on the beach and not too far to get into town. Traditional style hotel with large rooms. Limited storage for your clothes but I was aware before we went so packed an extra 12 coat hangers and used one of our cases to store some of our clothes but was not really too much of a problem. Breakfast was okay. Had an egg station and the omelettes were good. Selection of multinational cooked items plus toast, pastries, cereals and fruit. Always had sunloungers available and a good size pool which overlooks the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and we will return.
Best sandy beach and great pool”
Love this hotel and have come back 3 or 4 times over the last few years. Great value for your money, One of the best swim up bars, nice beach. Saddly this beach is now occasionally getting blobs of oil was up with the high tides. THe swimming pool and the stairs up from the beach to the pool had oily footprints all over them and blobs of that that destroyed 2 pairs of sandles, many shirts and shorts. I had to spend an hour and a half washing crude oil off my infant son after his first trip to the beach. The staff is blissfully ignorant of the issue and denys its existence and thus cleans around the oil blobs that have destroyed the cement walkways. Most of it hides in 1 or 2 oz blobs under leaves or seaweed so you don't see it from far until you already step in it. Also during the ferry ride you see long streaks of emulsified brown oil on the water. Truly sad. I don't think i'll be back.
Enjoyed our 7 day stay”
We enjoyed our stay. Good location and close to restaurants along beach. Only problem with this hotel is they advertise airport shuttle. Beware the cost is 600 baht and the airport is only 2 km away. We were not impressed and arranged our own taxi for 300 baht. Hotel needs to be more mindful that such high cost reflects badly. The shuttle should have been free the airport was only up the road. Build the cost into room.
Great value and fantastic walks in beachwater!!”
Fantastic! Great breakfast with a spledid view. Shallow clear water almost 200 m out. Great walks and dips all day. Pool with wonderful view and nice poolbar for shakes and juices. Very nice beachrestaurants just a short walk down the beach and exotic feeling with the tide moving upp the tables during night. Try whole fried snapper -great! Hotel has the best spot on this beach as the sandbottom is the cleanest and softest. Calm Place and nice atmosphere just outside center...couldnt be better. Just a short walk to center with shopping etc. Wonderful hotel for families with Children. Gym could be better though. Internet works but alot of log-in problems wi-fi. We will definately come back next year. We stayed in a Deluxe Building With Breakfast Close to the reception. No view but pool, breakfast and sea so Close.. 30 m walk. Ofcourse a sea-view would have beat Everything!!
a wonderful relaxing stay in a beautiful setting”
Stayed here with my two teenaged boys in April. Absolutely loved the resort. Directly on the beach. Lovely large pool area. Great cocktails and food selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Slightly out of the main beach nightlife area but only a short walk along the beach to all the action and water sport activities. Free internet in our room. Nice bathroom with a good shower. We highly enjoyed or stay. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay on the quieter end of chewang beach but still have easy access to everything.
in front of the beach.”
the only problem i found is that the insonority from the sides rooms is really poor, u can ear everything. also is a little far from the place with night life... but walking is just 10 min..so is ok. the rest is all fine, nice details in the room , cable tv, they allow me the check out at 14:00, nice smal pool, security in the complex.car parking.
Nice hotel, good service :)”
the room is nice and clean as we expect..good breakfast & coffee, nice place for dinner..the restaurant is at front of the beach. Staff are friendly and good service. good place to relax. Definately we will come back to stay here again if we have chance.
Clean, friendly, near to airport but no airplane noise... not too far from main Chaweng tourist “market” 5mins by motorcycle.... but furniture can use an updating only set-back...
Staff's response is bad”
I was charged twice for the hotel taxi fare. They don't reply when I ask by email. I could give up money but I was disappointed with their unfriendly response.
Cozy hotel on the beach, near the airport”
Have stayed In this hotel many times before leaving the Island after long stay In a rented house. Good relaxation before hometrip, despite the awful "service" on Agoda. Will never use them avain, just book directly from the hotel, and get the package you want.
Not good, not bad”
The food at the hotel is way overprized. But along the beach in close walking distance are lots of restaurants. There is almost no beach in front of the hotel because the water is too close. You have to walk along the beach to be able to find a spot to chill at the beach. Pool is great.
Great resort would reccomend to famalies or couples and less for travelers or younger fellas. Pros: Not expensive, tasty food and includes stairway to the beach. Cons: Far from the main tourism spot, had some troubles speaking to reception but at the end everything was solved.
Clean, safe beach suitable for small children”
This is a great resort with warm, friendly, helpful staff. II have stayed there twice and would do so again. It is located towards the edge of Chaweng away from the hustle but is not too far away to be inaccessible. A short ride on a local taxi will take you into the centre. The resort is down a slope from the main road so access may be difficult for mobility impaired persons. Some accomodation is on a second or third floor level with no lifts. There are two pools each with a children's pool. The main pools are 1.6 metre deep throughout so may not be suitable for larger kids with limited swimming ability. The beach is sandy with little coral and is very gently sloping and is shallow for a long way out, so safe for children of all ages but not so good for adult swimming. The beach is cleaned everyday by the hotel staff. Some resorts have a lot of coral on their beaches. The beach is not overcrowded and only has a few polite folks selling their wears, so you are not constantly being bothered. The accomodation is good with aircon and ceiling fan both of which are effective. The shower room and toilet area is clean and good. There is a good gym, dining area and lounge area. Sunbeds are available at the poolsides and at the beach. The decor is quite unusual and attractive, great for families. There is a children's play area. All in all a great resort for families and couples.
Quiet location.but good choice of nearby eateries both on the beach and main road. Nice pool area and on the beach. Beware if mobility problems no lift so ask for low floor. Rooms small dark but with good amenities good wifi and air con. Nice happy staff.
the room was okay, but the pillows are to hard/big our room was on parterre, the air in it was like the room is always to moist and the smell was not very good. we don't know how it is in rooms on the 1. floor.
Great New Year's”
We stayed a couple days having moved from closer into Chaweng's center. This was much more quite, has it's own beach and much more like a private resort. During the day, it's a quick walk to the center or trip for activities. At night, when the tide is down, you can walk along the beach and hit various restaurants, bars and resorts. (If you are allergic to mosquitos and/or sand flies, make sure your legs and covered though and use repellent when on the beach. Otherwise not an issue elsewhere.) New Year's Eve was interesting, but chill which is what we were looking for. The hotel put out a buffet that was fit for a king. It was gorgeous, diverse and delicious! The traditional Thai dancers they had for the show were also a treat. The band was so-so. At midnight we all went to the shoreline and enjoyed their fireworks and a complete view of all the other places shooting therm off. It was really a lovely night for it all. My only complaint was that it was a bit formal and would've been nice to have tables closer together to get to know other travelers during dinner.
