Koh Yao Yai
Adoramos a estadia mas é longe das praias principais e o táxi fica caro. A limpeza da casa de banho não era a melhor, mas reparamos que era um mal geral por todos os hotéis que passamos.
Very Relaxing staycation”
We stayed at ocean view pool villa and its one of the best staycations we ever had! We didnt leave our room at all! The room is huge you can even cook in the kitchen! The pool is like heated (or maybe coz the tiles are black?!) it was very nice and relaxing! The accommodation is a little bit dated but very good room sizes and stunning ocean views! Some parts of the beach is littered hope the staff finds time to clean it.
Quiet piece of paradise! ”
So I was looking for somewhere near the sea with a pool and an option to self catering not to far from the airport. We originally booked for 3 nights in a studio villa, we checked in were taken to our very lovely villa. The style is shabby chic (just like the Caribbean)and was lovely. Realising we would like to change for a villa with a view we rang reception and were invited to discuss with the manager. The manager was lovely and we upgraded to a 1 bedroom villa with full kitchen, private pool and a magnificent view of the bay. This Villa was again shabby chic but had a lovely charm and feel. With 3 separate Aircon units, large 4 poster bed, wardrobe/dressing room, large bathroom with separate bath and shower. There was a door from the bathroom leading to the pool and outside shower. The resort has a beach right in front of it, vitually private but with no loungers or parasols. The infinity pool is beautiful and surrounded by large day beds. The staff were warm and friendly and I would happily stay there again.
Quite but nice ”
If you are wanting peace and quite this is a nice place to go .Because the hotel is the only place except on other restaurant in the area .They is nothing in the area .
Lovely staff ”
We went in low season and only stayed for one evening as we were getting a transfer boat from the neighbouring Ao Po Grand Marina. It was very quiet due to low season. We had a beautiful room and our own jacuzzi which was fantastic! Lovely big breakfast before we left and the staff were incredibly accommodating, polite and helpful. I would only really recommend it to people wanting relaxation as it is in a very secluded location - otherwise its fantastic!
A very nice surprise”
We booked this hotel for a quick one-night stay after a late flight so I didn't put a huge amount of research into it. We were really pleasantly surprised. The villa was beautiful and so spacious and very private. There were only two of us so the upgrade to the two-bedroom was appreciated but we certainly did not need it. You could easily stay there with a large family or a few couples together. The prices for the in-room beverages and snacks were very reasonable and the staff was great. We weren't there long enough to use the shared pool but it looked very nice.
Good value, good food, nice place to chill.
Desperately seeking maintenance ”
It's a nice hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the hotel is in desperate need of remodelling and maintenance! The beach is not for swimming. It's for launching boats. The pool is nice. The resort would be beautiful if it was maintained.
Amazing if you like your own company! Ghost town kind of resort”
If you looking for a quiet quality time with your partner or family and don't mind the filing of being preety much the only one there you will enjoy it! The facilities are amazing!! The pool Villa to die for, so peaceful and hiden away in a lovely garden kind of setting Most of the staff speak no English but they incredibly friendly and once they get what you on about they will do all they can to help and advice. The restaurant is quite expensive and the coctails are priced almost at London prices so we only had dinner there once but the food was good. Breakfast it's a buffet style where you can chose from 4 different eggs dishes really, I can see why it is not a proper buffet as there is not enough guests to justify the amount of food needed but they could add a bit of a salad on the side... Beach, well it's not great! If you don't have towel you be on the sand, it might be part of property but it doesn't have any facilities... Amazing view though! All in all I would go back there
Really enjoyed a night here on the way back from the islands.
Once upon time”
The hotel is surviving they try to bring it back. But it’s lost in middle of nowhere. We were supposed to stay for 7 days but decide to cut it short after one night. When a cockroach came out of my breakfast. People are very nice , bedroom too but the hotel is ghost town. The beach not usable. I paid in advance so no refund. If we did stay longer we would have be miserable. Probably use to be an amazing hotel once upon a time but I think the location is what make the hotel surviving.
Best resort near marina ”
The best resort near the
Great hotel a stones throw from the new Ao Po Grand Marina - cosey comfortable villas with own pool, outdoor showers and very friendly helpful staff. Ideal for romantic getaways and for people looking to get away from the usual Phuket crowds. Shops and amenities not the closest having said this. Another great plus is that this hotel segregates the Chinese tour groups so you are not affected by their usual loud behaviour.
Very tired old decor. Breakfast was shockingly bad. Sheets & towels clean. Only go if you get a really good deal.
Not so value for money”
Though hotel has a good view and is at the right location as we attend the event nearby, we found that hotel put us in a room that very stink and has no view. Amount of food at breakfast is enough for a person to be full but don't expect much of a variety of food. We did order the room service and the price was incredibly high compare to the taste. One thing good was staffs here were really nice to us.
Rat in the kitchen”
It was nice that they upgraded my room since its off peak season, but its appalling that there was a rat running around the kitchen cupboards, and when I reflected that to the receptionist, she just SMILED. Honestly, even a sincere apology would have been enough. Please spend your money elsewhere. I should have done that.
Magic quiet location”
Great location away from the noise of the bigger towns. nice view and room.
Don't waste your hard earned money”
The amount we paid was outrageous for this run down resort that had hardly any guests. It did not present as the photos showed. The complimentary breakfast looked like it had been out for 3 days. The only food that was freshly prepared were omelletes and they were about the size of half a piece of toast. We pulled up at the lobby and one of the staff were smoking. At the breakfast place the staff were all huddled together having private conversations. We had to pay extra for the airport shuttle. The only positive was the complimentary 15 minute massage, the lovely older Thai lady really knew how to do a very stress relieving massage.
Good potential but poorly executed
