Excellent”

Very friendly service, staff were kind! I was picked up and brought to the hotel as soon as I arrived on the island, rented an e-bike from them and was given information about activities on the island. Would definitely recommend!

The owner and his wife were very friendly to offer pick-up services to and fro the island's harbour to the hostel, and gave a proper introduction on what can be done on the island. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. feel free to join their diving program!

Amazing Stay with super Helpful Staff”

Really enjoyed the stay here. The owner was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the port for free. She recommended many plays to eat and visit and helped us to rent a scooter. Rooms are a little small but clean with new appliances. Definitely recommended for friendliness, good location and a delicious breakfast.

Great Service. ”

The owner was kind to pickup me when I called her upon reaching the harbour. She introduces Green Island activites, and also manage to arrange for a snorkeling & diving session in the afternoon. Great family to stay with. Will definitely recommend and stay with them again if I go to Green Island.

Friendly lady boss, arranges tours and transport”

We were here for 1 day and night. The friendly lady boss waited for us at the jetty and have helped us to prepare vehicle to travel in the island. You can also arrange tours with her. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay here at Green Island!

One of the best condition guesthouse in Green Island”

The guest house is very new, clean and comfortable. It is quite near to Nanliao village, the town centre of Green Island. If you travel around the island, you will see a lot of rundown guesthouses and this guesthouse is probably the best condition one in Green Island. The host is quite friendly and helpful, but that is true for most Taiwanese guesthouses.

Great stay!”

Location is good, not too far from the harbour and close to restaurants, shops and convienience stores. Hostel owner came to pick us up from harbour and helped us to rent scooters. (She also helped us book ferry tickets). We had trouble with ferry (being cancelled) going to and coming back from green island however the owner was very helpful and managed to help us sort everything out - thank you! Room was large and comfortable (not the double rooms we were expecting due to confusion with the booking and ferry cancellation) but the family quad room was sufficient. No fridge or toiletries is room (just shampoo and shower gel in shower). Breakfast is very good and there is free coffee and snacks/sweets downstairs in the lobby/breakfast room! Overall, a great stay!

The owner is so sweet. She will help you with everything and she makes for best hostel breakfast I've had in Taiwan. Location is good; within walking distance of restaurants and 711. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly staff and fair price to stay”

We stay in this guest house for two nights. Our room was on the main floor and comes with the private bathroom. The overall experience was pretty good. The guest house provides homemade breakfast cooked by owner's lovely wife. They really put their heart to take care of their guest house and the guests. Really nice. *The one thing I will totally recommend is that there is a coral reef lagoon not far from the guest house. It's only about an easy 10 to 15 minutes walk (Doesn't need a scooter at all). The lagoon is right next to the Lüdao lighthouse, perfect for a sunbath or just simply chill out by the lagoon, and if you with children they can play in it because the deepest part of this lagoon is only about 140cm. Take a swim ring and you can enjoy the sun and the water.

Nice place with friendly lady boss”

The place is pretty new. Location is consider good as it is pretty near to the shops and eateries. Also a family run outfit with temp staff helping out. Had a shared fridge in the hall that you can placed your cold drinks & food in it. The guest house also operate a dive centre so you can stay here for the easy arrangement if you intend to do diving or snorkeling. Also can help out with the booking of ferry tickets.

I love SHABONDI”

I just love the kind hospitality of Ms Wang and family. Very clean and comfortable place. Ms Wang treats us like her friends, very caring and very funny lady. She provides hot simple breakfast of toasted bread with eggs and ham, coffee, tea and soya milk. So unexpected. Always remind us to be careful while cycling and gives us advise places to watch sunrise and sunset. The lure of Greenisland and the kind hospitality of Shabondi helps me to decide to stay on another day and I have enjoyed every minute of it with no regrets! THANK YOU MS WANG and family! Will definitely recommend my friends to stay at your place.

Good Stay”

Overall a good experience, though was caught off guarded when I　realized it's a shared room instead of personal room based on my impression from the Agoda listing. Nevertheless, the hosts' hospitality and service more than made up for it - they saw to my needs promptly and catered to my queries without hesitation which make the stay a comfortable and pleasant one. The location is also good and did not have to travel far to look for convenience stores or dining facilities.

Trip highlight”

Very high quality run guesthouse that really helped to make the most out of a short stay. I was travelling alone and only had 1 night at green island. Host picked me up from ferry with a warm smile and brought me to their home where I could rent electric bike directly. Although arriving at 4pm, I Even had time to cycle to the lovely lighthouse (west facing, very close to the guesthouse) and saw the amazing sunset. The host organised everything for me, including a night excursion, hot spring ticket, scuba diving etc. The host and her adorable family has made the stay extra enjoyable as they are so friendly and knowledgeable. It has a lovely atmosphere offers both privacy and a sociable environment.

Really friendly and helpful host, cute place”

The host was extremely helpful. The location can't be beat: you can walk to the airport in less than 5 minutes. There are a bunch of cute kids hanging out, watching tv, and lots of people coming and going. Chill place to stay.

Great stay in a new hotel”

Great place to stay on Green Island, brand new hotel run by a lovely family. They invited us to share dinner with them and made us feel very welcome. They also made us a delicious breakfast for a very reasonable price. Room was clean and location was close to airport and visitor centre (where the bikes are free to borrow) and 5 min walk to the Main Street.
