The Hotel is too old., We were not able to sleep well due to the ACU is very noisy. Room is not lighted well. Sofa and beds with stains. Floor carpet is not good as well. Comfort room, horrible. We decided not to take a bath. We checked in 9pm and decided to check out at 7am. Very not comfortable.

The room stinks, the pillows stinks, very dark place. Looks like a hunted hotel.

Old hotel without Improvement ”

Not recommended for family with young children as the place is more likely a Motel. The pool is dirty saw a mouse poop. Dirty carpet and smells like wee wee /poop of the cat.Traffic going to the hotel and expensive foods in the area.

Easy to get to location”

Good pool and friendly and obliging staff made this stay a relaxing one. We will book again when we return to visit family who live nearby.

Accomodating Bella Monte”

Accommodating staff. Stayed for an overnight business trip. Unluckily I experience a terrible headache and the surrounding stores are already closed, good thing someone from the evening staff assisted to buy me a headache pain reliever & water.

Beautiful courtyard and pool area, but what a waste, once a beautiful and grand hotel gone to waste from lack on maintenance and care. Complete lack of security as well, in the evening anyone has full access to any room key, balcony door does not close fully (latch missing) no room safe and reception wanted p500 to use their lock box, wifi only worked occasionally unreal experience!

Lack of maintenance”

Oldest hotel in Barrio Barretto. Full of character but desperately in need of essential maintenance and a lick of paint. I moved room 2 times due to an aircon unit that sounded like a boeing 747 taking off and a shower unit which packed in. I gave up asking for a functional TV. Staff did their best but not resourced to deal with any issues. The so called 'maintenance' man turned up to attend to my aircon unit without any kind of tools. Pool setting could be nice but just 2 knackered old loungers for use of. Poolside bar is dilapidated and clearly not been in service for several years. Some locals believe that the place is haunted which adds to the character. There are several perfectly good hotels in same price bracket nearby including Dennito next door.

The hotel is like a rundown building. The kids refused to stay in the hotel because it's scary. We had to look for another hotel even though we already paid in this hotel. We only stayed for a few minutes and we left. Will not come back.

Needs renovation to upgrade, update and clean up. Must have been a great place in years past. Right across the street from a great place to eat, the Sit N' Bull.

Run down but affordable.”

A place to sleep, shave, and shower. Run down, but I like the side street quiet. The pool is OK and alot of long term residents. Rooms are big, staff and security is good. 1400PHP in cash at front desk, long term rooms $17500 to 28500 for 1-2br monthly.

Worst hotel so far... there s no soap shampoo or toilet paper you have to reach out and use shower head after taking shit

Interesting place”

To be honest I stayed here just to experience this classic hotel. Built many years ago, I believe it was once the main hotel in the area, used by all the US Navy officers, so as a result, has a bit of history attached. Hotel is a definitely worn a bit with time, but it all adds to the charm. Looks different from most hotels in the area with a distinct European / Italian design. So overall, I enjoyed my one night at this classic nostalgic place.

i booked thru agoda 4 rooms and i want to book 2 rooms /same dates / more, but not available , but in hotel they have rooms available dor these dates!! Let me book thru agoda 2 rooms more ! possible ? Thanks for answer and bast regards Borut Leben

this hotel is so dissapointing.. its so rundown.. cold, not cozy, and the carpets really smell like mildew!!! its awful.. the toilet is oh man not staying here. looks ok on photos but not in real life

The facilities are clean albeit a little bit rustic. I think it'll be better if the pool has a free-flowing water eveytime there are guests who swim.

Please refund half of the amount deducted from my AMEX Card due to the followings: 1) Bad and low bath shower ( i went outside to take a shower ( What is this?) 2) Bad and absent reception all the time 3) No food available 4) No Wifi available 5) No Telephone 6) Bad hopitalty especially the lonely receptionest inform me that via Agoda ,the accomodation here is not getting any benefits from guest via agoda which it shouldn't be happened. I am totally disappointed and unsatisfied. Generally this is only a room . This hotel doesn't deserve to be listed in AGOODA
