the room are old. some rooms on level 4 are left open and we can see inside and no room number. quite scary though. the smell from carpet at the corridor is disturbing. i got a room facing the road and can hear sounds at night especially. overall ok2 only

This hotel is horrible please change your management team.First the room is dirty and all the pillow case and bedsheets have oily smell,so I guess you did not change the bedsheets? In the end I sleep on my own shirt because I can't stand the smell of the oilyness.furthermore all the equipment is so old please so some basic upkeep by repairing or painting it

THE WORST EVER! ”

We arrived around 8pm at Sentral Riverview, after 3 hours journey, with small kids that tired and need a quick bath, the trainee said we have to shift to Hotel Sentral Melaka, due to the rooms overbooked. Is that our problem in the first place? If you’re overbooked, why still accept the booking even though it’s from Agoda? They said our room under maintenance. Surprisingly, there’s another guests that been kicked out to Sentral Melaka with the same reason. So, is it the whole floor is under maintenance? After argued with the receptionist, we have to move to Sentral Melaka just for the sake of my kids. I don’t want them to keep on waiting for this useless thing since I demanded for an upgrade in Sentral Melaka, and the guy told me he will do that. Ended up in Sentral Melaka, there are no other higher category room, they offer me breakfast which is already included in my room rate. Ridiculous right? After checked in, they gave me dirty room, like blood stains on the carpet that we can’t tolerate anymore. The staffs of both hotels are totally lack of customer service. Feel cheated, extremely disappointed and will not come again to this hotel even though the room rate at RM10. I WON’T!

I wanted to stay somewhere near Jonkers but picked this one thinking it was by the riverside. Got the wrong location but this hotel was worth the price I got it for. There's a mall within walking distance and a supermarket as well. The location is really quiet and there's parking space.

Pros- strategic location, parking provided, spacious room, polite reception, air-con was good, ironing facilities was available in the room and at designated area. Con's- my Junior Suite room came together with an extra bed- similar to the one in hospital ! I didn't request any additional bed. Requested to changed the room and was attended by a Malay female Manager. She looked unhappy with my request and showed her rude attitudes towards me. Sink was leaking, terrible water pressure and water heater, NO HOT WATER, the toilet flush got problem, bathroom sliding door was disgustingly dirty. Don't get cheated with all those pictures on any website. Will not recommend nor return to this hotel ever. Waste of money.

We booked 2 rooms, The housekeeper entered our first room since it's empty. But we haven't checkout yet!!! Its so disrespectful!!! The toilet is dirty. We cannot access to our room since the room labelled at the card wasn't same as stated at the door! The operator also rude!! I called from my own phone since i cannot entered my room, they directly declined the call. One word, RUDE!

I booked for my friend. From her experience, everything is fine, nothing to complaint because they pay below than RM50. We cannot expect more.

Bed comfortable but otherwise bad”

The hotel lobby looks very nice so I had high hopes but as soon as I got to the room I was highly disappointed. Where do I start: it smelled like cigarette smoke, it was damp and mouldy everywhere. Absolute hell for an asthmatic. Bare cables running behind the bed and in the bathroom where the outlet for the shaver is, shower didn't have hot water, bed linens had stains everywhere. The entire room was in a bad state. I took pictures of it all but can't unfortunately post them here. Wifi didn't work at all either. Although the price was good, the hotel didn't have a 3* standard at all. Wouldn't stay here again. It's dangerous for your health. The staff was nice

The Wi-Fi (both at room and lobby) was not working, and the staff claimed that the line has been unstable for a while - indicating that they probably didn't bother to fix the issue. One of the lift also not working. And the toilet seat also cracked. Based on the review of others, I would think this is a decent place, sadly it was one of my not-so-pleasant experience. Maybe I am just an exceptional case.

Strategic location and ample car park. The room we stayed was in an angle and had a damp smell. Luckily managed to get the housekeeping to spray to make it clean. Otherwise the room and bathroom was big and plenty of cupboards.

Room was okay, not so spacious for just nice for two people, clean, has wardrobe, fridge, heater, ironing facilities at floor corner, has coway water dispenser near lift, staff was friendly, breakfast not so many choice but its ok considering the price we paid. Overall we had a good stay !

Location is good. Reception/Lobby area is nice although stuffy. But strong musty and damp smell in the rooms and walkway. I requested to change the room but the condition was not much different from the earlier room

Cleaner that came to clean the room did not sweep or mop the room. There was a cigarette bud lying on the floor when we check in and the same bud was still there when we check out after 2 nights. That's explains how the cleaning was done. Dont stay at this hotel if u expect clean and decent room. Lousy bfast
