Quiet and Clean”
Nice resort if you like it remote and quiet, very clean and the restaurant serves good elaborate thai food. Every room is beautiful and has an outdoor terrasse with views of the well kept gardens. Friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Fresh air, friendly owners and an adorable villa”
Everything about this visit was great. Great breakfast, good internet, beautiful landscape, fresh air, modern villas, refrigerator, close to things to do with kids, no sky rises in site :), nice pool, great owners who speak English. The one thing they could work on a bit more is the lunch and dinner menu. It really was lacking for an expat traveling with their family. It was either spicy, with soy sauce or plain. Consider throwing a few items on the menu like a basic pad thai or cashew and chicken or a lemon grass or tamarind sauce. Consider having a few items specifically for younger kids. We just went elsewhere to eat after the first evening. Breakfast is incredible. Besides that, it really is a full service upscale well managed beautiful hotel with a friendly feel to it. I'm still not sure how they did it, but there was not one bug in my villa the whole weekend. My 3 year old son loved it!
Green village in beautiful surroundings”
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in La Provence. The staff is extremely attentive and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The resort is designed in a small French village style and has a small swimming pool. Don't expect baguettes or croissants, but the breakfast was simple and very tasty. The resort is close to Huai Khok Mu view point and all major sights in Suan Pheung. We enjoyed the clean air and green surroundings.
Only a 3hrs drive from Bangkok but you will be surrounded by serene nature. The hotel is relatively small but well kept and maintained. You can have your own little Italian-themed cottage which is equipped with all the essentials that you will ever need. You have to have your own transport to get there and do not forget to check the location before departure as it is not so well marked. It would be great if they have more authentic Italian breakfast (it was not bad but only so so). Best time to visit is during December and January as the weather cools down significantly.
A little remote gem”
Overall excellent stay. Beautiful south of France themed resort. Large ground with nice garden and swimming pool. Located in a very remote location with mountain views around. The resort is brand and everything is well maintained, both outside and in the rooms. Breakfast is good, with quality expresso coffee. The only improvements would be a room service option (and a phone in the room to call it !) as all rooms have nice terraces. Also a few French options on the menu would be nice in a resort called "La Provence"...
Great place to relax”
Nice hotel in a beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing few days. Very helpful staff and a great breakfast. All in all very good value.
Beautiful hotel setting but unwelcoming staff.”
The hotel has beautiful settings with full of lovely trees and flowers. The hotel staff however didn't make us feel so welcomed. As our group booked two hotels for this stay, they worried that some of us might sneak in to stay without paying extra. So we felt like being watched over and lost our privacy. The hotel staff were not so friendly. We were not even allowed to bring any food to eat at our room! We felt like staying in a boarding school!
Good & Safe Choice”
Overall a great place led by a wonderful family / management. It feels like you know them for ages. Rooms are great to be honest and the entire set up is well done. Few minor issues for improvement though: 1) Internet is quite weak / unstable 2) Shower - little water only but at least it is good to save the environment 3) Restaurant & Bar - you dont really get the cozy feeling to stay longer and have another wine. A nice real cute bar is missing and the restaurant hall is simply too empty (in my opinion)! Kitchen itself is good, breakfast is reasonable, for Thailand. Anyway, I would go there again because of the general ambience the property offers plus nice management.
Not kid friendly, Many Ants”
- Not kid friendly. - Many ants and insects in the room, also some on the bed. - Not hotel registration, could not issue tax invoice. Will not recommend this to my friends, will not go back to this again.
Very relaxing place with Good food also!”
We had awesome time there, the room is cute and very well-equipped with good quality furnitures, utilities ( love the shower!) . it is quiet , and you can only hear the sounds of nature! The restaurant served very good good good food! it was amazing.we ate there the whole time of the stay! love the place!
Friendly owners with excellent service ”
My family enjoyed our 1 night stay there. Very relaxing and owners make us feel at home. They speak excellent English. You can use their bicycles to cycle around and there's a small outdoor pool. They cook very nice food too.
Excellent Hotel in the middle of Nature”
The hotel was excellent in the middle of nature. The whole resort was a theme village of France. Staffs are quite good and English spoken. So no problem about communication. Room was perfect in size and facilities provided. Very neat and clean everywhere and well maintained. Only thing was for dinner we ordered 3 simple items and it took more that one hour to serve. Other than that everything was perfect. Would highly recommend.
Pool amidst mountain, close to nature, spacious”
It was comfortable despite the reviews we read. I think it is because we speak Thai and are willing to interact with the staff and open to the experience. They are a bunch of news people there when they open up. The location is ok too for us. It is close to Vintage Farm and the water fall, hotsprings
The resort is perfect for couple and family ”
I and my family really enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was an amazing holiday. The resort has an amazing atmosphere, the Villas were beautiful and comfortable, the staffs were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast & dinner were good. We will surely come back to the resort.
quiet, out of the way hotel”
The hotel was initially difficult to find (not well sign-posted) but after directions from the friendly locals we arrived at an out of the way hotel. It is very quiet, and to see anything outside of the hotel your own vehicle will be required.Travelling with my wheelchair bpund partner, the resort is not equipped for wheelchair access although with the staffs help it was accessible. Recommend for a short term stay for looking at the attractions of Suan Pheung. Note Ratachaburi city is well away (1-2 hours depending on traffic) from this hotel so may be misleading if looking at astaying near Ratachburi city.
romantic Provence style room”
We are travelling in group of 7. All rooms are decorated in different theme. Really lovely and comfortable. Very new and Quiet surrounded by lovely garden. Suitable for honeymoon and romantic event.
lovely new boutique hotels with nice garden”
the rooms are very nice and new, equipped with all necessities. Waking up in the morning with fresh air and beautiful view of hills and lovely garden. Very cool weather at night and we can even see star twinkling up in the sky. Small scale resort with friendly staff. Room a bit to small for the price charged but very nice bedding and pillows.
Nice remote themed resort”
We had a nice stay in this resort, the room is quite nice and the surroundings very green. It's lost in the middle of nowhere, and very quiet. It's not 4 stars standard as announced though, it's a simple family run resort with standard concrete bungalow rooms, 2 to 3 stars max, there is no luxury amenities. The price was 3400 THB after a 68% discount on Agoda, it led us to think it was a great deal on a luxury property whereas it was still quite expensive for what you get.
Pleasant stay, nice owner with charming personality. We hope to come back one day”
Quiet location, a bit far but we drove so no problem at all. Breakfast can be improved with more breads. As muslim it provided us with non pork dish, very nice. Thanks
Spacious room with good decoration”
The house is larger than our expectation and all decorations are nice. Staffs are friendly and helpful. One complaint is BF that is too limited during low season.
