Calm and chill place”

Really kind staff and people. For chilling. I stayed at the dorm but there's bungalows as well.

Nice Staff, not clean”

The „Deluxe Family room“, where we 4 People stayed was very tiny. No opportunities to pit our luggage. Only two chairs. Behind the Bungalow it was kind of trashy. At night there were cockroaches in the room. The staff tried to clean up as good as possible and they were all very kind. Unluckily nothing helped and we moved to another place.

Good location, massive ants nest!”

we booked 3 nights and decided to stay for an extra 2 because it was a really good location and very good value for money but after the 3 nights we were regretting our decision a little bit. we were staying in room 3, ground floor bungalow with the outdoor bathroom which had a massive ants nest underneath. one of the girls that worked there sprayed all the ants but they were just left in a big pile even though we asked for the room to be cleaned twice. our room wasn't cleaned for the whole 5 nights we stayed. also the shower was useless and smelled funny. on a positive note, the people who own it/work there are really lovely

Great location near the beach ”

The reception staff were very welcoming and lovely. The accomodation was nice and clean. If you get bitten by mosquitos you may reconsider this accomodation as the bathroom is completely open so you need to use the mozzie net. The beach here wasn’t the best beach on the island in my opinion but overall a good stay.

Great view from my balcony , clean room , friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast consisting of egg and sausages, plus a dish of fruit . However , the bathroom equipment needs to be fixed a little bit : low water pressure and the water from the shower got stagnant in the area around the toilet. I also found pieces of toothpaste in the sink upon my arrival , plus a bottle of ... chilli sauce . Thus, my Cleanliness score is actually 5/5 for the room itself, 2.5/5 for the bathroom , same with Facilities. It's at a quiet location near the beach and many bars and restaurants, but the thing is that the paths around there are dark and get filled with mud and water after a short storm.

Nice and helpful lady who runs the place. Good prices for day tours. Internet sometimes weak in bungalows.

Bed bugs!!!!!”

terrible!! Dont go there, my body is covered with bed bugs!! I stayed there for 5 nights. I dont have that high demands regarding accomodation, especially when the price is low. But its not nice when they didnt clean the rooms for 5 days or when I hear random ppl on the beach warning me that there are bed bugs there and when I then end up with it!! Terrible!! And the owner seemed stoned and kept asking me how long I was staying for, he had no clue about anything. Hope ppl read this so that they dont book and end up with the same bites as us :(((

Close to the beach, you get what you pay”

Cant sleep well at nice due to the frog very noise and wake up by chickens by 5am(thailand time). Will not select this hotel after that.

We stayed inly 1 night, because the bungalows are super hot and they have defects in their walls from where mosquitos come into the room. However, the olace is nice, the staff friendly and is close to the beach. It was very cheap, so no complains for the price we got it.

turned up and staff had no idea we were staying, the whole thing felt like we were getting in the way of the owners family and friends. Hard bed, rickety balcony furniture, next to no sound proofing. We had paid for breakfast and were initially told we couldn't get breakfast, only when we showed our voucher did the owner relent and we got 2 fried eggs and bread every morning of our stay. The only good thing about the place is it's cheap,but then again I've stayed in cheaper better places all over Thailand. Don't bother.

Comfortable stay, great location”

Tuk Tuk from the pier took me to the Leaf House for 50 bth, so don't let anyone on the boat board to fool you that you won't get there for under 100 bth, they are just trying to sell. It took about 10 minutes and I was greeted by a lovely lady (Lexi?) who asked me if I booked ground floor or first floor. I checked my details, confirmed with her and had a key in my hand within 2 minutes. The room was spacious, towels a toilet paper were provided, the private shower room was also enormous. There were mosquito nests on each window and a nest hanging from the ceiling, so no mosquitoes were troubling me at all! Outside area was very well kept, with the seating/lounging areas to chill in the evenings. They had couple of scooters for rent for 250 bth, but we could find some for 150 bth in the agency on the main street. It took about 2 minutes to walk to the beach and plenty of bars in the evening. On my day of the check out they even offered that I could use their own shower in the bungalow just next door. I cannot complain or fault my stay at the Leaf House and will recommend any time.

Charming quiet location, close to a lot of fun”

We really enjoyed our stay. Very sweet owner and staff who we're accommodating. Very nice garden and two storey bungalows. The upper ones were especially nice. The beach was not too crowded and there was lots of music and cheap eateries nearby.
