Foi muito bem recebido lê-la equipe do hotel. O café da manhã é ótimo e pude fazer os meus pontos de interesse históricos caminhando. Apenas achei mau servido de restaurantes nas proximidades.

The room was a little small and old but fine. I don’t think they changed the sheets, because it was a bit sandy en the covers had stains. They changed them when we asked. Nice hot shower and the beds are not too hard. After two days our bed broke down but we could emediately

Still a Handy Downtown Choice”

Been 3 years since my last stay and still a good stay. Location and value for money; although perhaps the rooms could do with a bit of sprucing up. Staff helpful and nearby eateries make up for limited dining in-house.

Clean , good location, quiet ”

The room was clean and quiet , comfy bed with pillow nice stay there , internwt was fine working like burmese style not the fastest one bit works. Frontdesk and all staff nice and friendly helpful , Housekeeping was amazing , probably the first time for us in burma they changed the sheet every day!!!! New bottle of drinking water in a toom too. Would recommend overall it'/s a good hotel

If you are not Ynagon for the hotel experience than it's perfectly fine place, Freindly staff, good breakfast, facilities as described here, convinient location to explore around. No frills, enjoy your holiday!

Great hotel for the value”

This hotel is great for the value. Excelent breakfast and clean. Only about a 10 min walk from China town and 20 to Sule Pagoda. Easy to catch a bus from here. My high rating is because of the value. It is also close to many clean restaurants, food booths and two major open markets. Can't beat it

Good Place in Yangon”

New Yangon Hotel is in a good location and close to Chinatown. The staff is very friendly, though housekeeping can sometimes be lazy. Yangon drivers are horn crazy and the hotel is located in front of a major bus stop. Be prepared to hear bus drivers liberally honking their horns from early morning until evening. Overall, however, a very good value in Yangon.

A good hotel at a modest price”

A nice hotel located in a not very busy part of downtown. Good value for a not expencive price. The hotel, rooms, furniture, linen, etc. are in good condition. Nice view from the restaurant on the upper floor.

Another Good Stay”

Stayed at the hotel several times over the last 3 years and this was another good stay. They still don't have blackout curtains and if your sensitive to road noise/early morning sunlight then consider a windowless room - would be good if they install basic blackout curtains as otherwise the hotel fits the basic needs bill perfectly. Staff as usual - very good as was room service food, adequate buffet breakfast.

First time in Yangon”

generally satisfied. only unhappy with the free wi fi which was slow and unstable. it worked on the first day although very slow but I could not connect after that on the next 2 days which was a let down. I had to go to the lobby to connect and it worked but also slow.

Another Good Stay Downtown”

Back again (6th time) - and another good stay. My only issue is the lack of black out curtains, so if your a light sleeper then the windowless room(s) might be a good choice. Staff were very good and accommodating - room was very clean and comfortable and this remains my value choice for Yangon.

Clean small rooms at the New Yangon Hotel”

The New Yangon Hotel is in a good location in Chinatown. The rooms are small but clean. The AC is new and works well. There are many dining options within a short walk of the hotel. Just a five minute walk away is Citi Mart where you can pick up snacks and beverages. Hotels in Yangon are expensive so it would be challenging to find something much better in this price category. The staff at the front desk all speak good English. I suggest you have the front desk hail your taxis for you and you will always get a fair price. Only one English language channel on the TV. It is a movie channel. Wifi in the room is a little slow but not too bad. Wifi is free. The free breakfast on the top floor is another benefit. A different menu every day. I would choose the New Yangon again on my next visit.

good choice in Yangon”

After many trips to Yangon, I decided to stay in this hotel the last couple times. Compared to other hotels in Yangon, rooms are cleaner and larger (most hotels in Yangon are very expensive and often pretty old). Location is ok, walking distance to Chinatown, so plenty of places to go for dinner. Wifi is ok for burmese standards. Staff is very helpful and kind. I really have to thank Yen Lin Toh at the reception for helping me with the issues I had with Airasia and my mishandled baggage. Reccomended!

Good value central Yangon hotel”

This was the 3rd time I'd stayed here this year (2014) - so pleased enough to return. Rooms are very clean and functional, internet was ok, food very good and pleasant, friendly staff. My only complaint is the lack of blackout curtains which the manager tells me is being addressed. Try and stay in a higher floor room if you need it quieter from the road traffic noise at peak hours.

Stayed many times here - and while the rooms could do with a spruce up as getting a little 'tired', it was a good stay.

bad experience”

stayed one night. there was no water supply at midnight. called reception. no one picked up. so went to reception from 7th floor. the guy was sleeping deeply. very deeply. told him " there is no water supply ". after hearing, he was searching something and gave me shampoo and soap. again i explained him " no water coming ". he couldn't understand. then ask him to come with me. and i have opened the tap. showed him. then he understands. he went down and come back and said, motor problem. water come morning. i was shocked and shouted him. aging he went down. phone rings in my next room and it was opened. i went to that room. pickup the call. A lady spoke with me in fluent english and explained there is some motor issue. we can solve it in the morning only. sorry for inconvenience. Then I asked her can u provide some water in a bucket. so that i can manage for while. she said not possible. we don't have any bucket bla bla bla... i got irritated and shocked and shouted. then she agreed to bring the water in a bucket. finally... after 30 mins i got a water from bucket. before that i went down and reminded the guy for this bucket water. this how their system is working. and my room's phone also not working.

Great rooms”

We simple loved our stay at this place. Nice rooms with great views from the river side and very clean. Breakfast is okay the dinning area is bit hot and the hot meals were a bit cold. Staff is helpful.

Descent room with great value. Breakfast could be improved”

The room was small but at least it was not bad for a night or two. The crew was very kind and the hotel location is spot on as it is just minutes walk away to Sule Pagoda and Chinatown. The breakfast though was not really good. We barely ate anything as the food was too salty. Not sure if this is the Burmese style or this was badly prepared. Overall, it was a good stay.
