Friendly Staff ”

We took bus from Male airport to Hotel, walk distance to the hotel. Food is nice and friendly staff. Arrange everything for us for next day early morning flight. Only the issue is hot shower no working.

Good for islands transfer stay”

I was stay there for a single night before transfering to maafushi the next day, room is compact and clean, large bed and a balcony that perfect for a heavy smoker like me, instead of going up and downstair, the staffs were friendly and attentive, just ask and they will do their best to help you Cons for me was they have to do a small maintenance over their waste water piping, as the smelly air returns from the floor drain, but that wasn't a big deal, close the bathroom door all the time and the bad odour will not going through your room, their shower box is super tiny, I can't hardly soaping my body overthere but the water showe pressure is good, wouldn't mind to coming back and stay for one or two nights

Good for one night transit ”

My friend and I reached Male at quite late hours and our intention was to spend the night at a simple inn before we hit the resort the next day. New town inn did fulfil our criteria. Only thing is there is only one hairdryer in the entire inn for borrowing and breakfast was not up to expectation.

Good location, efficient staffs”

It's near to the airport! Staff picked me and my husband at the airport, we took about 10mins to the hotel. Staffs are efficient and helpful. We took seaplane at 6:00am on the following day, the staff proposed to pack the breakfast and let us take away. That was great even it was simple breakfast( egg, ham and toast). No elevator, we needed to take the luggages to 2/F but it is not a matter for us actually .

New and very clean hotel”

Stayed there in July with colleagues. The room was very clean and the staff were polite. The only downside is the location: far from the Male town. But would recommend for a night's stay before transferring to the islands.

Very clean and comfortable rooms”

Excellent. Really good value for money as the rooms are new, clean and comfortable. Best part was the bed, really comfortable mattress with soft pillows. I actually spent more time in the room than I had planned and got plenty of rest. Although the location is not next to the beach, everything in Hulhumale is a short walking distance and it is right in front of the airport bus stop

Friendly Staff, Free & Good Wifi speed.”

It was a small tiny room with no toothbrush. Only provided you with kettle, tea & coffee, shower gel and shampoo. Which was good enough. We only needed the room for 6 hours while waiting for our flight and we didn't want to wait at the airport. The free wifi was good while we waited. There's nothing much to see around the quiet streets and most of the area was under development, or empty plots of land. They provide van to pick you up ($20 for both ways), all you need is to tell the Information Counter at the airport, and the hotel will come pick you up in 10 mins. The Hotel is 5mins drive away on the Airport Island.

Comfortable stay ”

Generally, overall stay in this hotel is above average, with nice room decors and comfortable bed. Wifi signal is acceptable, only flaw is frequent disconnection of wifi. If you do not mind having to call reception to reboot their router, this hotel is definitely worth the stay!

Excelente”

If you are looking for a Hotel near Airport and Male city then this is a good choice , but the famous islands are far away from this hotel, so before booking first decide what is your purpose of visit , if your requirement is near airport and Male/Hullumale then this is the right choice , otherwise not.

Nice and clean hotel”

Friendly staff and the room are really clean. Room is bigger than I'd imagine. We were served with good breakfast and had an easy arrangement on the transportation on our check in day and also after checking out.

OK for Transient”

Stayed for one night as we arrived after the last seaplane flight. Good location, less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. Room was small but clean. Strong water pressure with hot water. No elevators but staff carried luggage up the stairs. We were provided with a packed breakfast when we left the following morning.

not so clean ”

Room was small, relatively cheaper than most other hotels here, near to airport and walking distance to town and beach (about 600m away). Wifi poor, drawers filled with empty mineral water bottles and food wrappers left by previous guest, whole floor dusty due to nearby construction works. No lift, only stairs. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Non smoking room with smell of smoke”

Standard service. Location is good, opposite to the bus stop to ferry terminal. However remember that luggage is not allowed on the bus so the only way to ferry terminal if you were with a luggage, is taxi. The room is small. My room was an non-smoking room but I could smell the smoke even when I opened the door. There is a smoking area out in the balcony. There was stain on the towel. Luckily I was staying for one night only.

Room is clean. Bed is comfortable. And breakfast is good (with some flys but open area, doesn't matter). It will be better if they have some hot water to take a shower. If you need a transit in Male, staying here is a good choice for "short" time.

Basic hotel and generally clean”

This was a basic hotel which met our needs for 2 days transit stay before we head on to our resort on a private island. When we were there their main restaurant was under Reno so we were served very basic breakfast at the top deck of the hotel. Be sure to apply insect repellant as the top deck was not air conditioned and we were bitten by mozzies every day. This shouldn't be a problem once their restaurant is back. Staff are helpful and courteous, they went to great lengths to liaise with the resort on our transport. Location is a 5-10 mins walk to the beach where the nice restaurants and cafe ply. Will stay there again for transit next time

comfort quiet hotel”

My arrival night was spent in Newton inn.Airport pickup costed 10 USD as we negotiated.flight was delayed,but driver was waiting.in-house restaurant (Bombay darbur)was awesome.specifications if you like Indian food this restaurant is great.my srilnkan friends who hav tried mango mango restaurant in Panadura will experience the same taste.very nice bathroom.only problem is climbing steep stairs.However staff helped lot to move baggage.Receptionist provided good info about bus service etc and honest.Will visit again.

Great experience before our actual holiday”

It's our first time here and we've requested for pickup service (USD20 both trips for two person). The Inn is about 5-10mins drive from Male airport, don't think it's walk-able distance due to the fact that we arrived at night and it was dark, and the road is quite narrow for one to walk. We stayed at the old Newtown Inn, which was fine with us. We think it is much better as the area has more shops and cafe, but we don't have time to walk around, since it is just a night stay. WIFI is good. Breakfast is prepared and served when we're ready - toasts, eggs, sausages, youghurt, orange juice. Room is simple and good enough for our one night stay. Basic shampoo & shower gel is provided. 2 small water bottles are provided as well. The driver that drives us around is friendly chap. Overall experience is wonderful.

A friendly stopover inn”

Arrived late 2200H, was met by the Newtown Inn representatives and driven straight to the inn. Location is approximately 10 mins drive from Male airport. Reception and other staff were friendly and no hassles with check-in. Our room was at the 3rd floor hence the staff has to lug our luggage up three floors. Tiring I am sure. Included breakfast in the morning was at the adjacent restaurant name Bombay Darbaar. Breakfast was a quick and simple affair. Overall the stay was a quick transit. Hotel location was convenient near to airport by road.
