My partner and I had the most beautiful 5 night stay at Puri Santrian. We stayed in the beach wing which was perfect, clise to tge pool, veach and restuarant. Location is perfect close to everything , beautiful clean private beach location, bicycle hire included was a great bonus to ride along the beachside, staff were so helpful and very friendly, the day spa was amazing we had a beautiful massage and facial, food was delicious and very well priced, bed was comfortable, however my only concern were the pillows, they are hard and lumpy, woukd ve great to see a pillow upgrade 😊.... we absolutely loved it and would highly recommend ! We will definitely be coming back here again.
I have nothing to complain about during my 6 day stay at Puri Santrian Hotel and Resort Sanur Beach. My Deluxe room is spotless and equipped with everything my wife and I need. The room was cleaned up and resupplied daily during our breakfast time, and by the time we came back from breakfast, the room was fully tied up like the first day we entered again. The canteen was very large and comfortable and the food was good and plentiful. The staff was helpful and courteous everywhere we saw them. So I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to travellers.
The Puri Santrian we were hesitant at first to book due to its southern location. So glad we did, it was so relaxing. The grounds are just beautiful, great pools. Beach chairs and restaurant right on the beach. Breakfast and restaurant food was delicious. The rooms were on the older side, they were spotlessly clean. There are some great restaurant in the area as well, Santorini, Massimo & Paon to name a few. $30k to get to the north of town by bluebird if you need to. Or there are free bikes to ride along the Sanur boardwalk.
We recently stayed at the Santrian Club and were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff stood out, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impeccable, and the tropical landscaping added a beautiful touch to the surroundings. Our room was spacious. The water pressure in the bathroom for both cold and hot water was a pleasant surprise as it wasn’t just lukewarm. The air conditioning was very effective, keeping the room cool even on hotter days. The pools were another highlight—well-maintained and perfect for relaxation. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of options, with a delicious mix of western dishes and local delicacies. We also dined several times at the beachfront restaurant, where the food was consistently excellent, and the service was outstanding. Additionally, the ample parking space was a convenient bonus for those traveling with their own vehicle. If there was one minor inconvenience, it would be the limited availability of electrical outlets. There were no plugs by the bedside or near the bathroom vanity, which made charging electronic devices less convenient. For instance, I had to step out of the bathroom to blow-dry my hair. Great experience overall. Oh also, the location is perfect for us!

Excellent value for money and the rooms are super clean although a little dated adds to its charm. Beach clean and lots of seating areas for you to relax and chill. Pools have plenty of sun loungers and not hassle getting one during my stay. Highly recommend this hotel to relax and stay at. Really enjoyed it!
Return visit after staying here last April. Stayed again in premier deluxe room which allowed me to use the associated restricted swimming pool. Room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a good typical variety of choices. On-site restaurants are good with special mention to the Asian restaurant mezzanine located at the entrance to the hotel. Very tasty Japanese meals provided at reasonable prices. Also enjoyed some spa treatments which are reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Located towards the southern end of Sanur beach gives good access to the beach and the footpath that runs the full length of the beach. Great for walks or cycling Definitely recommend
I booked a stay here and really like the hotel but unfortunately because of a local dump nearby and the wind blowing the smell to the hotel it was impossible to stay. The odor was so terrible that I had to relocate to a different part of Bali. The Hotel itself is great and the staff very helpful and nice However I couldn’t enjoy it because I couldn’t breathe any fresh air or enjoy the beach and outdoors. I was told it only happens certain times of the year so maybe best to check before you go.
Enjoyed our 5 nights stay in this resort. The breakfast spread is delicious. The resort is clean and well maintained, room is spacious and cozy. My son enjoyed our time here. Would love to stay again.
Loved absolutely everything about this resort. From the very welcoming staff to the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed, everything was perfect! I have stayed in many properties in Bali over the past 20 years and have to say, this is one of my very favourites and I can't wait to come back again.
Positive: The location and staff from all areas are excellent. We secured a great deal and our suite was lovely. Check in and out was easy. The suite was cleaned extremely well daily. All staff were courteous, happy and always helpful. The hotel isn’t as big as two of the nearby resorts which was fantastic as the other two resorts were a lot bigger and the pool and cabana areas were chockers with guests and screaming kids. I feel that Santrian was far better for adults as there were virtually no kids as there isn’t a kids pool which the other two have. The room was very clean and immaculate Negative: The buffet was very average with selection. Same foods every day and not a great deal of Indonesian food available. Although not as big as other resorts, you don’t have to fight for a table. There were many tables available and not crowded. We received a daily “afternoon Tea” - this was very poor unfortunately. Although general dining was excellent Summary: Highly recommended, excellent value and you definitely would not be disappointed 😊
Great hotel right on the beach. Two large pools, plenty of good quality loungers around the pools. Immaculately clean. We had a deluxe double room which was a decent size and very comfortable. Great food and the restaurant and reasonable prices for the quality.
Following numerous glowing recommendations, we chose Puri Santrian as the destination for our week-long wedding anniversary celebration. Upon arrival, Denaya at reception facilitated an effortless check-in and graciously informed us of an upgrade to the Santrian Club. We found the sophisticated ambiance of this adults-only area to be the perfect complement to a relaxing and memorable holiday. We would also like to extend a special commendation to Ayu from the Beach Club Rest at breakfast every morning, her attentive service and consistently professional demeanor made a lasting impression each morning. Our experience at Puri Santrian was exceptional in every regard, and we certainly look forward to returning in the future.
We were upgraded to the club wing on arrival at the top floor which had good views from the balcony. The resort had 4 pools and we were allowed to use 3 out of them as the fourth one was reserved for the premier wing. Rooms are nice with big balconies and cleaned every day. Buffet breakfast was good everyday except the last day when it was so busy that it was hard to find a table. Just outside the resort you have supermarket, cafes, spas etc. The only downside is that even though the pools are open till 8pm everyday, the pool staff starts to wind up at 5:30pm only. The first day we arrived at the main pool at 7pm and there was no bed available as the staff had packed all of them. Had to request him to arrange 2 beds for us to which he was not very happy. If the pool timings are till 8pm, the staff should be packing stuff after that only so that it doesn’t inconvenience the guests who arrive late to swim.
Unbeatable location with easy access to beaches and local shops. Cleanliness is top notch and staff are friendly and attentive. Impressive facilities such as pool area and amenities. Delightful breakfast with multiple options (and vegeterian options).
Our stay, selected by our friends from Holland, why we came to meet them, was excellent as you can see in the stars. HOWEVER, DOES INDONESIA EVER LEARN????? You fisherman come en masse to OZ to take OUR FISH, cause you caught every single fish alive in YOUR WATERS. So while enjoying HAPPY HOUR on the beach bar, day in day out IDIOTS with rods and NETS, trying to catch the last fish alive!!!!!! HOW GODDAMN stupid. Put a BAN on catching ANY FISH!!! So maybe the last remaining fish can multiply in the next 5 years. THEN allow very limited fishing. How STUPID is it to catch the fish who can make babies???? So BAN all activity, certainly in front of the hotel for all tourist not to witness the pure unsustainable way of a few desperate idiots.!! There is plenty of work in tourist industry!!!! Cheers ad
Whilst there are positives at the Puri Santrian there are a few things to consider if this is the hotel for you. During our stay it was 95% capacity and all the pool beds were hogged early in the morning with towels. The breakfast was ok but for those who are wanting the ultimate buffet breakfast - you may want to skip this one due to limited options available. The room itself was good for what we required, however noticed black mould developing. there are higher quality rooms in the Puri that may not have this though. Staff were generally good and welcoming and appreciated the security that was placed on. the bed was so so with pillows that could be replaced as they were lumpy. There were times in the early hours of the morning and night that cleaning and luggage trolleys bounced and rattled past keeping us up- which is annoying when you’re suppose to be at a resort. One stand out is the location! - it’s the ideal position for the beach walk with several restaurants, shops, bars to enjoy at your leisure. The gardens were incredible and very clean! Overall - it’s not our style of resort/spa hotel having experienced many across the globe. it’s slightly disappointing as the marketing is done so well but isn’t reflected in reality.
Amazing hotel, tropical lush gardens, clean rooms. We were upgraded to a suite, highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has ambience, very Balinese. I will definitely be back to Sanur and this hotel.
Loved the Puri Santrian, grounds and facilities all clean. Plenty of sun beds available. Quieter side of Bali which we loved. Walking along walkway to different Warungs and restaurants was great. Would go back again.
Had a wonderful stay at the Puri Santrian. I researched so many places and was very glad that I chose this hotel. Decided to go with the premium rooms which have a separate section and pool. Very comfortable room. The included breakfast was a buffet with many options and had something for everyone. Beautiful fresh fruit, western and Indonesian options, good coffee and a variety of juices. Restaurant is situated near the beach so you can find a table with a view and enjoy the sights. Location was good. Staff was exceptional! Very kind, attentive and helpful. 🙂 Overall a very good experience. Would definitely stay again.
Such an amazing hotel in every way. The location is perfect, as are the staff, food, pool, and the room was so comfortable I cannot fault this hotel, sad I couldn’t stay longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family
Can not Fault anything, From the moment we gort there we were treated extreamly well. The facility was clean and our room was exceptional. The location was Perfect and the beach which is at the back of the estate is clean and safe. All the employees are friendly and go out of there way to greet and assist in every way. We had a few minor issues with our room and the manager assisted to rectify the problems. I would have no issues recommending thise complex to any one. We stayed in a superior room which was very roomy with large shower/bathroom and extra large balcony. The room was freshly painted, near new curtains and extremely clean. Our ONLY complaint was the bed was too hard for us. We mentioned this and within the hour someone was at the room with an extra mattress topper to try and rectify the problem. The mattress may need replacing as that didn't really help but the walls were old style thick, No neighbor television noise etc. which was fantastic. Buffet breakfast is generally much the same but this was defiantly one of the better for quality. Cappuccino available for four dollars and as we like strong tea a pot of very hot tea (3x tea bags) was no charge. We had a choice of two pools, large noisy with swim up bar or smaller quiet for reading and shade but there is total four pools so depending on your level of stay for usage. The hotel beach has many sunbeds, the water gazebos with sunbeds and six double cabanas which are very comfortable. The beach is very shallow and a long walk for a decent swim but never any waves even when its a little choppy. It is a close walk to many restaurants and bars, boutiques and markets. The on site spa is a must visit. Beautiful building, not over priced & very experienced professional masseurs. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay in the Santrian Club area relaxing by the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable. Easy walk along beach front to restaurants and warungs. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
All is great, although check in was weird What Agoda promised and what they promised is not the same At first was kids not included cause above 4 (why would i lie about the age of my kid) And then they say The the room do not have bathtub while I specifically look for bath tubs for my pain therapy They kept saying they upgraded us But tbh its the same as the one i ordered Food, cleanlines, locations etc All is good but yeah i feel guilt tripped by them If marketing and front desk have discrepancies, it should not be my problem But yeah it is what it is
I highly recommend Puri Sangrian to my friends since it fulfils all the criteria I look for in a comfortable and friendly environment, like a home away from home. I very much enjoyed the courtesy and speed with which the staff replied to my inquiries. The facilities and amenities were clean and recommendable for the experienced traveller. My advice to the staff of Puri Sangrian is to continue to satisfy more customers to come so they too can enjoy your courtesy and facilities to make the stay an experience worth your while.
We recently stayed at Puri Santrian - Santrian Club and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for our needs. I wanted to correct a mistake I made in a previous review—there is actually an electrical outlet in the bathroom, which was very convenient. I appreciate the hotel for its thoughtful amenities and overall comfort. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it. The facilities, including the pools, are excellent. The beachfront is beautiful although not great for swimming, as it was very weedy for us. The breakfast is excellent, lots of variety including plenty of fresh fruit and lots of options for everyone. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The only suggestion we have is that the bathrooms need updating.
Great hotel with a good selection of room types with most types having their own pool area and all different. Rooms are large and very clean. Good aircon too. Food was very good, buffet breakfast had a big selection. Location right on the lovely clean beach with street access for shopping, bars and restaurants all very close. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Would stay again.
I’ve always stayed on the other side of the island and we booked the puri santrian to try out Sanur, I think in part due to this hotel I’ve fallen in love with this side of the island. Hotel and grounds are Stella and we stayed in a recently upgraded room which was lovely and thanks for the upgrade, clean and attentive staff we will definitely be staying her on next trip very soon. Perfect
We were a group of 3 sneaking a bit of vacation after a work trip to Bali. We shared one room and found the accommodations spacious enough to host 3 adults comfortably. We appreciated the amount of storage space in the rooms as well. We had a lot of luggage and no issue storing it. The grounds and amenities were gorgeous. We greatly enjoyed our time at the spa and at the various pools. The only negative would be the restaurant. There were out of items we ordered, then had a mistake in our order, and the quality was OK but not great. Relatively minor issue, though. We would definitely stay again!

The rooms are slightly dated, but we got an upgrade which was a lovely surprise & the room was very comfortable, clean & had everything you need! All the pools are lovely, but especially the club santrian - beautiful!! Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.
I have been back to this hotel the 4th time! Truly a great place to stay with all facilities, private beach, great breakfast and rooms. My truly favorite about this hotel is that I feel treated as a "family". The staff is amazingly nice and truly looking forward to make your stay as comfortable and smooth as possible. "Taking care of you" without having the feeling wanting to make more money. Instead the focus is the human being by establishing connections. Previously I have brought my parents to this hotel, they have enjoyed it so much as well. I have been with friends in this hotel where the experience was as great as few days ago! If you have any issue about the room or anything else, you can make sure that they will find a solution for you whatever you need! For sure, I will be back again! Thank you for the hotel staff, Everyone who made my few days such a great experience yet again!
Came for a 3 day weekend of relaxing and this venue ticked all boxes. Sitting having a relaxing breakfast overlooking the water was my favourite. Relaxing by the sparkling pools came in 2nd place. Tough to leave this perfectly clean location. The friendly staff and the relaxing vibe. Will be back.
I have had a beautiful stay her at Puri Santrian - Upgraded to a Premier suite and to have your own tucked away, huge, private pool, to share with others in this area is absolutely blissful! The location is perfect, peaceful, but if you choose to leave the grounds, there is so much to see , local shops and food on the main road. The beachfront is always busy being cleaned of seaweed by the hotel and the view is just beautiful! I would absolutely recommend and stay here again in a heart beat! Thankyou for having me!
My husband and I have stayed at the Puri Santrian hotel/resort numerous times. We have always had a wonderful experience. We love the location, beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms and wonderful service. The staff are fabulous, they are always friendly, efficient and accommodation. Highly recommend.
Stayed in the premier deluxe room Lovely room, matched website description. Comfortable and huge. Adults only pool was very tranquil with few guests using the pool. Option to use any of other hotel pools. Only disappointment was breakfast. Very limited unless you like bacon, baked beans. Vegetable options resembled something out of a frozen food pack. How hard is it to get fresh steamed veggies or stir-fried particularly in Bali where fresh vegetables abound. Thank goodness for the omelette station and pastries.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in September 2022. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. We were very kindly upgraded to the club room which was very clean, spacious and quiet. The resort itself has 4 pools, a beautifully maintained garden, beach front restaurant and lots of facilities e.g bike rental or canoe rental. The staff are extremely kind and go above and beyond to meet your needs. Breakfast was average, it met our needs and we were very satisfied. Some things noted for improvement: the room itself was clean but looked tired and may be improved by refurbishing some bits e.g toilet, sink area. Also can add a full body mirror and towel rack near the sink. We had a fantastic stay and would love to visit again in future.
Puri Santrian has several nice pools. The grounds are nice and well-maintained. PS is a 3-star hotel. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges. I found the convenience store across the street helpful. Service for the most part was attentive and good. Breakfast was mediocre. There’s an egg station where you wait while eggs are prepared. There were several other options (coldcuts, breads, noodles, rice, bacon, salad). I wish the bacon had been labeled as pork (instead of just bacon). Containers used to serve juice are also used to serve water so the water always tastes like juice. Rooms are nice and I loved that the ac worked very well!! The shower was decent and the bed was comfortable. The shower is a rainfall shower head plus a hand-held shower head that is attached on the shower wall. I stayed on the first floor and the water pressure wasn’t the greatest. There are several English-speaking channels on the tv. I enjoyed the beach/resto area and had a couple meals. I did not enjoy the food at Puri Santrian. There’s an expansive menu, but I just felt nothing that I tried was done well. I chose to walk down the promenade and eat at other restaurants nearby instead of eating at the hotel. The pools are fantastic and there were plenty of chairs. I slept well and the hotel was quiet at night.
Overall it was a relaxing hotel at a beautiful resort right on the beach. The resort has a very traditional Balinese look and feel with tropical gardens and architecture. We had booked 2 Superior rooms but were upgraded to Santrian Deluxe rooms which were inviting and spacious with a large shower. I did however find the bed to be too firm and ended up with a sore neck after the 2nd night. Also not very soundproof as we could hear the bats at night. We also had issues with mosquitoes in both our rooms but the hotel did come and spray the room. The daybeds by the pool and beach were fantastic however the service was not great as never got asked if we wanted a drink or food. Swim up bar was nice but the happy hour only offered cocktails made with local spirits, arak, etc. The buffet breakfast was great although not as extensive as others I have had. The omelettes were great but the highlight were the pancakes. They were delicious. I can highly recommend the dinner at Mezzanine restaurant if you like Asian food. Lovely welcoming staff throughout the hotel.

The Puri Santrian is a wonderful resort in Sanur Bali. I would highly recommend a stay here if you like the traditional Balinese style resorts. It has lovely gardens and pools. The staff are exceptional.

Our initial visit was highly satisfactory, and we anticipate a return. While we appreciated Griya, this experience surpassed it. Every aspect was impeccable, with the sole minor issue being the uncompleted gym facilities, a detail not communicated to us beforehand. However, we successfully adapted to this situation. The staff consistently provided attentive and discreet support, ensuring our comfort without being intrusive. We eagerly await our next visit. Contrary to some reviews regarding breakfast quality, we found the offerings to be excellent, and the staff was always prompt in addressing any specific requests. The resort boasts three distinct pool areas, but the beach truly stands out for its exceptional beauty, particularly the magnificent sunrises. Furthermore, a variety of restaurants are conveniently located within easy reach, accessible via both the main street and the beachfront.
