Bad service”

I ordered a double pepperoni and it was definitely not what I expected. I really didnt enjoy it decided to make a complaint and nothing was sorted so we just left it. Our friend ordered a seafood pizza and they brought him out a platter of melon instead, they also forgot another friends French fries. We were really disappointed.

Amazing for money”

Amazing place if you don't want a super fancy expensive hotel. Has everything you want, gym, great breakfast, pool, fully serviced hotel. Nothing flash like the Pullman but how long do you spend in your hotel? Just need it for sleeping and showering

A Gem in Chiang Mai”

This older, established hotel is tucked away inside the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. It is a family run business and you feel the warmth of this fact. The kitchen is run by Nong and she is an amazing chef! From the gardeners, bellmen, receptionist, kitchen staff, and housekeeping, you will see all smiles and helpfulness! I am recommending everyone I know to stay here when they come to visit me as this beautiful city will soon be my home.

Underwhelming ”

This is an older hotel that is tired, rooms had space but needed refurbished. We did not enjoy the area in District 1 and was a bit further out. breakfast was terrible and no room at the pool! Did enjoy a drink in the rooftop bar but would not stay here again

Great Breakfast and Friendly Staff”

We originally booked a capsule but my husband was not keen on the shared bathroom. For just a few dollars more it only took minutes to upgrade to a full room. Room was clean, with huge bathroom, and working air con! The breakfast was the best we've had so far on this 3 week 7 city trip. Highly recommend it for 1-3 night stay.

Bottle water”

I love this hotel, it’s amazing for the area. It’s affordable, very clean and you get a pool even you only have a hostel bed. The place is cool with a great view of city and river. Things I would say, it’s always a bummer in any hotel or hostel...when you are asleep early in the morning and are woken up by cleaning staff yelling at eachother down the walls. Secondlyy room was not cleaned one day and I asked for my daily water and the front desk said the room doesn’t come with bottled water. Another cleaning lady later gave me some no problem.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The capsule rooms were an awesome experience. This hotel is in a great location. The staff was pleasant and always helpful. Jacky went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good variety You can't go wrong at Sunland Hotel. Thanks.

Great last minute booking ”

We were let down by our apartment rental and booked this place last minute on Agoda. We were so pleased with it, made us forget all about the misfortune. Our four year old son absolutely loved the kids pool. We’ve been travelling on a budget for months and for a cheap place we didn’t expect water slides! The breakfast was good, great variety and the air con was fantastic. Roof pool gets plenty of shade in the afternoons thanks to the higher walls which was a great relief. Would highly recommend.

Excecional”

Great stay! My second stay visit at this hotel. Rooms spacious, clean. Breakfast very comprehensive. Nice gym and roof top pool facilities. Very hospitable staff with Customer service Manager Jacky Huynh being super amazing! He really goes out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. I actually returned to this hotel because of his fantastic service from a previous visit:) A 15 min walk to Bue Vin area.

Great even for just 1 night”

Was cheaper booking through Agoda than booking.com (1 night through Agoda for £10.80 vs 1 night £28 booking.com). I had been staying in hostel dorms for a month so it was very nice to have my own space. Very cool staying in the capsule dorm, all decorated futuristic/space like. Staff all very helpful with anything I needed like printing off flight tickets etc.

I've stayed in a capsule before, but the ones here are ultra modern and provide you with your own tv, headphones, safe, and decent lighting. The pool is nice and the Skybar has wonderful breezes at night. Jacqueline Brown

Nice Capsule Hotel with a little minus”

I had a nice stay at this hotel. Even the pool is relaxing. Sauna is fine, just the filter of the steam sauna looked really dirty. The Capsule Hotel is nice and clean. All you need is there. But the beds aren't that good. Mattresses are very thin and the bed is just a wooden plate. So it is very hard and I could feel the plate under me. Besides you cannot choose which roommates you have which was a bit annoying, but that's the deal. All in all a good nice stay for the money.

Not very delighted experience ”

Staffs are not helpful, Front desk know nothing and ask you to ask other staff. Room are not clean. Pros: -Breakfast, OK, noodles of the day tasty. Pancake good and transitional cake of Vietnam is quite interesting. -Beds are clean. -Good location. Near convenient store and restaurant. Cons: -Not much channel of TV. -Especially the bathroom, water stain everywhere, the Exhaust fan broken. -Staff, only friendly to white people and not helpful. A male staff only talk to whites people every morning in the breakfast buffet. I stay for 3 night. DEFINITELY not come again.

To far to shops”

Beware of taxi fares should be about 170dongs from airport, the two drivers I had spoke no English except money.?good view of city from breakfast restaurant 14th floor, omelettes & fried eggs already cooked didn’t like you asking for fresh. Lifts& passages no AC. Hotel didn’t provide tissues.There is a food mart a few mins away.

A great place to stay. ”

Although this hotel is rated under 4 stars it is well above that as far as we were concerned. The service was exceptional. The a la carte breakfast, varied each morning, offers food for a ll tastes and the staff, lead by manager Jackie, go the extra mile to make sure is is a great experience. The food from the restaurant is reasonably priced for a hotel and is served quickly, even when ordered as in room service. The location is great with wonderful views from the top floor bar or swimming pool. The night clubs are only a few minutes walk should you want to go there and the Russian Market is nearly next door. The lifts are fast and efficient with no waiting. The only con is the hotel is not double glazed so you can hear the traffic but as we were on the 10th floor it was quite minimal and as the hotel is behind some shops and set back a bit from the road it may not impact lower floors much either. We have both agreed we would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel is fantastic! Jackie the manager is such a lovely, warm, funny, welcoming person that is a massive asset to this hotel!!! If he could be at the front of every hotel I’d be a happier person. So a big shout out to Jackie for being such a wonderful host. The room was clean, spacious, and had great view over the river. Great pool, sauna, steam room. Great location, just a short stroll to all the tourist areas. Great value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again when I come back to Saigon.

Hotel is great and the breakfast fantastic! ”

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's great value for money, the location is good, staff are very helpful and the food and drinks are pretty dang good! The rooftop bar, by day or night, is fabulous. There's a very efficient and cheap (VND20k/kg) laundry shop just around the corner, and if you want a stroll it's about 20 mins to the War Remnants museum. Taxi to the airport came to VND180k including a tip. The staff are all good, especially Jacky who was very attentive and concerned that everything was right. Apparrently they've had a couple of bad reviews calling the staff rude and disinterested. I definitely did not find that at all, on either of the times I've stayed. Quite the opposite in fact. If I head back to HCM, and I hope to, I would have no issue at all staying here again. Thanks team, for a great stay!
