Excecional”

Very nice and stylish hotel, perfect location close to nice restaurants, gyms, shopping malls. Quiet and large rooms. Very helpful staff and manager. Just one little criticism: the hotel charges a small commission when paying by credit card… this is not something you expect from a hotel in that category. Travellers who can afford this kind of hotels don't carry cash with them - there should not be any extra charge for paying by credit card, this is not done by other 4 star hotels in Yangon.

Great Location with awesome staff!”

So I normally stay in the large chain hotels due to points and frequent stay status. This hotel has me rethinking that philosophy. The staff was fantastic, better than many of the 5 star hotels I have been in. The location was perfect for exploring the city as a traveler. The room was great, especially the in room coffee maker, I am already thinking of buying one for my home. The breakfast is a menu of made to order that is very good (but not all you can eat for those who want that). The food in the lounge/restaurant (also where breakfast is served) is really good and some of the best we had during our days in Yangon (good quality and mid-range on price). Staff was more than happy to arrange some tickets for us and talk over sight seeing plans as we don’t like tours. Although I can’t say enough good about our stay there are a few spots to improve. USB or power plug ins are needed on both sides of bed (2 people usually have at least 1 or more devices each that need charging). In our room we had to unplug the lights from underneath the bedside stand to use the plug in for devices - a simple powered USB hub on each side would be perfect and would eliminate the need for travel power adapters. The shower needed strategic bath mat arrangement to direct water to the non-shower drain (I live in Asia and this seems to be a common issue in even some 5 star hotels). Lastly, it was listed as exercise facilities but did not indicate that it was off-site about 4 min walk away (minor but should be noted, gym was fantastic though) All of these are minor issues but should be noted. In the end, I highly recommend the hotel - you can’t beat the combination of quality of stay, location and staff.

A beautiful and restful place to stay ”

This is a small boutique hotel, beautiful lobby, restaurant and rooms. As well, a small courtyard garden area. For a medium price boutique hotel, highly recommended.

Great food, good location”

I stayed in a duplex "loft" type room with balcony. Interior design and all facilities were good, bed was comfortable. Balcony looking out onto the grubby street is rather pointless unless you need to go out there to smoke. Excellent restaurant, and the a la carte breakfast made a welcome change from the usual boring buffets.

Great spot in downtown Yangon”

Superb location right by the Bogyoke Market and near many restaurants. It’s not one of those big luxurious hotels but it is so much more : wonderful staff and beautifully decorated spacious rooms. The outdoor area is gorgeous as well!

Very nice impressive Boutique hotel”

Love the decor, neuvo boutique hotel. Love the details and spacious room. Alex cafe food is excellent and the garden is quaint. Service is excellent. However, being a lady traveller and the street is quite dark at night coming back from dinner and alittle hard to look for hotel entrance. Need more lightings. Just a boutique hotel, so not much facilities.

Strategic location hotel”

Hotel located right next to Bogyoke market backdoor, walking distance to downtown and avoiding terrible trafic jam in downtown. Room is big enough and clean, toilet is little bit dated. Pillow is hard and thick, but bed is ok.

Modern in an old town”

We arrived early and staff were extremely accommodating at getting our room early. The hotel smells like a spa. Our room was a beautiful duplex. Clean , modern beautiful.. Well thought out in terms of design. Proper coffe. Terrace.. Not much of a view but a bonus! Walking distance to gray restaurants and touristy sites. Adjoining restaurant had great service and great food. I loved the duplex but would go for regular room if u do tend to need WC during night as pain to go down the stairs! Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Very pleasant room, great location, friendly staff”

The room was very spacious, high ceiling, lots of place to put guest's things both in the room and in the bathroom. Nice view to the garden. Fantastic location to visit downtown Yangon. Internet works very well. Very comfortable bed. Staff is very friendly but not all of them are fully up to speed yet. I would suggest replacing the carpet in the corridors and leave the concrete. I had the cleaning equipment stationed outside my room the whole time - could be avoided. Breakfast is very expensive and there should be a special price for guests staying in the hotel.

Comfortable stay during Thingyan”

We really enjoyed this hotel and its cool décor. Too bad the lofts on the top floor were booked or we would have moved up there. Nice bathroom/shower and fairly good location (walkable to transportation, local restaurants, and tourist spots). We were there during Thingyan and the staff were hosing passersby, so we joined in the fun and got soaked by the kids across the street. There is a good local restaurant around the corner, to the left one block, and turn right one block. Order what the locals order and you'll be delighted.

Great, Clean, Convenient!”

Enjoyed my stay at the Loft Hotel. For Yangon, the wifi worked incredibly well. Also, I arrived quite early, and the staff welcomed me to check in around 11am, well before the check in time of 2pm. Staff are extremely friendly and always welcomes you with a warm smile. The hotel is conveniently located and you can walk to all the sightseeing locations of Yangon, including the Shwedagon Pagoda (about a 25 min walk), Lots of eateries within the location and foreign friendly restaurants. The shower strength was strong, and good hot water. It is pricey for Yangon, but you get what you pay for!

Great little gem”

Staff could not have been friendlier nor more helpful. The breakfast as well as room service were excellent. Bed, sooooooo comfortable. Yangon has a lot of traffic, so it was nice to stay here and be able to walk to Scotts market and Sule Pagoda.

One of those rare Boutique hotels in Yangon”

As pleasant as the last time I was here; everything is still being kept in its wonderful conditions. The room was clean, all facilities & amenities were provided like a 4-stars standard. All staffs were very friendly and helpful with good English. The breakfast including in the room package was generous and quite tasty!

Outstanding Stay at The Loft”

To keep it short, my stay at The Loft Yangon was simply brilliant. The place is a classy boutique hotel, and excels in terms of location, staff performance, room design and amenities as well as comfort of room. Staff always had a smile, ready to help with anything and speak decent English. Breakfast at Alex's was classy and brilliant, the options are slightly limited but the food and beverage offerings were fresh and excellent. The room - brilliantly-designed, ultra-comfortable and provided everything that you need for a comfortable stay. If you ask me there is no need to consider staying anywhere else in Yangon, this place is perfect! The room rate is slightly on the high side, but hotels are definitely not cheap in Yangon!

Comfortable & Clean”

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The staffs are approachable and helpful. They also assist to our request when we arrived the hotel earlier than the check in time. We managed to get early approximately 2 hours check in. Definitely will recommend this place for stay. Although the electricity being cut off several times, it was rectify immediately.

Lovely boutique hotel”

Staff were very friendly and obliging, allowing us to check in 2 hours early. Room decor was immaculate. The L'occitane toiletries were delightful! Loved our stay here. Perhaps there could have been more power points for charging but other than that, perfect.

Excellent Hotel”

An excellent hotel. A Very enjoyable stay. Rooms were excellent, nice deco , big spacious showers and very comfortable. Only had breakfast but it was excellent and good service. Would definately return again ...............

Pleasant stay with small surpriese”

A small team but well-trained. Sincere and helpful. The conceige not only bring my lugguage to room, but also raised the heavy case on to the rack and show me where the hair dryer is. I will recommend The LOFT to my friends and business associates.

Nice boutique hotel”

Stayed here 2 nights to explore Yangon. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed. You can walk most places from the hotel. I liked the bed and the showers were big. Good soaps. Breakfast was tasty and I bet once the restaurant opens, the rest of the food will be delicious. That said, they put me in a room above the restaurant, which was being remodeled. The hotel was full so my request to transfer rooms was unaided. No one's fault really, they just need to say on this website that it's under construction and 1st floor rooms are very noisy.

location close to many local restaurants and bars, so convenient to food. The design is chic, service okay, but to be further trained. Disposable slipper provided in room, but they are used one, which is a bit disappointing... The breakfast is supper!
