Lousy but pricey food at this hotel provided by sub-standard staff from both restaurants. Impeccable aesthetics upon completion of construction would not blind us from noticing the many ugly details neglected incl. the unbelievably dusty aircon vent at the 1st fl. restaurant corner and the falling-off paint above the door to elevators. Been to Beijing Wanfujing staying at various 5-star hotels for more than a dozen times and this is by far the worst experience so far.

Just like a tranquil Utopia!”

This is a comparatively new hotel located at Wanfujing area. Once I stepped in, tranquility is what impressed me the most. I arrived a little earlier, so the room was not ready, but the concierge was very helpful by finding my bank and get me a taxi quickly. When I was back, the room was ready, clean and elegantly decorated with everything I need. I went to Beijing for a business meeting, and went out again to get myself familiar with the metro and the meeting location. However, when I was back again, I got surprised to find that the hotel slippers were not in the place where I left them, and two more bottled water were provided. That's when I realised about the evening services. It was my first time to visit Beijing, and staff and concierge are polite and kind to answer all my questions, even helped me get a ticket to the Forbidden City.The bed and pillows were so soft and I slept like a baby in a comfortable crib. If there's any weakness of this hotel… CNN was disconnected often.

I was very excited to stay at a Waldorf Astoria. The staff is lovely, and for the most part speaks good English. However, a bit of a disaster while sleeping after aling journey the lighting system turned itself on at 2:30 AM and when I could not stand it any more, at 4:30 AM they sent up a technician that stayed working with a ladder and crawling into the crawl space - not to be fixed , when I returned at 10:00 AM. I had to pack all my bags and move nyself to a new room. And the worst part - they offered no credit or accommodation for basically ruinibg my first entire day. Note, the breakfast was okay, service delightful, and beds and baths luxury for Beijing. I would stay here again - if the price was conoarable to alike hotels in the area. The lobby was very small - for a Beijibg grand hotel - For the price, I should have stayed at the Pennusula or Grand Hyatt. Overall - I was comfortable - but expected more. Again - the staff - TOP NOTCH.

Good location, excellent services”

EChoose this hotel cause it is new and in the best location in Beijing. Staff are nice and helpful. Facilities are all in top grade. There is room to improve. Like better communication on check in, reception should tell us the room to room line is disable between 22:00 - 08:00. Adding a small rubbish bin in toilet room. One more tissue box in living room. A small table next to sofa for placing tea and food...etc. Anyway, the overall experience in this hotel is great and comfortable. Would like to visit again

you know, majority of chinese people don't know how to speak english. the staff and crew of Waldorf Astoria is very helpful to us specially in booking taxi/car and restaurant reservation. also their rooms are very nice, high tech toilet bowl :D And also very near to the Shopping malls and Wangfujing Street Food

It was a great pleasure to stay at Waldorf Astoria Beijing. I've only one concern about the customer service during the check out time, that the cashier didn't give the authorization cancellation copy of my credit card. Other than this all other services were amazing!

Boutique Size; Unlike Other Wardorf”

Boutique-size hotel- remains the outstanding staff service, however, a bit disappointed for the small and inactive facilities. Good location for doing busy in the Wangfuzin area.

It charges higher comparing with other similiar hotels. Staff performance and service is bad. Hotel staff over reacting about policy. They refused my friend to come upstairs and visit to my room for short term around 10pm.

호텔 자체는 훌륭했습니다. 조식도 훌륭했고, 무엇보다 주문하면 거의 모든 메뉴가 가능했습니다. 수영장과 스파등 다른 시설들도 훌륭했고, 위치 자체도 나쁘지 않았습니다. 다만 객실에 먼지가 너무 많았고 욕실이라든지 특급호텔에 어울리는 수준의 청결상태가 아니었습니다. 체크아웃전에 나온 먼지는 정말 너무 심해 그냥 넘길 부분이 아니어서 매니저에게 컴플레인을 했습니다. 컴플레인을 들은 직원들의 대응 태도는 칭찬할만하다고 생각합니다. 직원이라든지 다른 모든부분은 모두 만족스러웠기에 청소상태가 개선 된다면 더욱 좋은 숙소가 될거라 생각합니다.

酒店的位置非常便利，位于王府井。房间非常安静，舒适，早餐品种丰富、味道很棒！服务也超好！刚到酒店时，在人行道上，服务人员就来帮忙提行李。房间里服务员知道你水喝得多，餐巾纸用量大。都会帮你充分准备！下次来北京，还会选择华尔道夫！

低调奢华的度假风”

北京华尔道夫的地理位置的优越就不在赘述，王府井近在咫尺，故宫步行可达。 让人比较惊喜的是酒店带来的城市度假风，身处繁华却安静低调。华尔道夫的品牌完全不同担心硬件的品质。房间的格局将门廊，卫浴，就寝，小客厅和书桌区和谐地划分。一次非常棒的住宿体验。

难得去北京为了休息，这次就想远离国贸周边，选择王府井周围的酒店。 在寸土寸金的王府井位置，就不能要求华尔道夫多么的宽敞。但由于选择的是角房，空间都还是非常好。 如果再去北京休闲行，我觉得还是会选择这里的。
