The one thing which I couldn’t bare was the noisy door to my room which was constantly slammed shut by other guests but the door was a poor design anyway so that couldn’t be helped as far as the other guests were concerned. I’m a heavy sleeper and it takes a lot to keep me awake. Overall I had bad sleep staying here because of the door

I was impressed by the staff and location. The place was also clean. Facilities are a bit restricted as it's above a pub and could probably do with lots of shower cubicles replacing the bathroom.

I was in and out of London overnight via St Pancras and King’s Cross so this location was ideal! Easy checkin and out. A pub with am excellent variety of beers on tap to quench the traveler’s thirst! Comfortable and safe basics of what you need in a hostel!

It's ok for the price. Take a padlock and a towel. Don't forget your passport. I saw them turn someone with a reservation away because she didn't have enough ID.

Place is good fore a weekend or day trip near Camden and Euston connections. The Bar and qaccommodation has good wifi and staff is helpful, though running also bar and some stress seen occasionally. Have drink and relax, they will not forget your questions in the meantime :) Only minus would be that when it was very hot, the fan was just not enough in 6 bed dorm. It was hot. Showers and toilets are good and even better when second space gets ready (was under construction). I never had to line to shower or toilet this time though. In general, yes its London so dorm price is not pudget friendly, but place is good for day or two.

I arrived late into Euston Station, and the hostel was very close, and welcoming. The staff were friendly. As it was late, the lights were already off in the dorm room and I left early (too early to turn the lights on), so I never actually saw the room, but the bunk was comfortable. The bathroom wasn't too bad, quite modern decor, though nowhere to place my toiletry bag. I could hear the pub a little, but that's what I expected given that I chose to stay above a pub on a Saturday night! Overall a good experience and good value for money for London.

Friendly staff, nice location, but terribly hot room”
Located near public transportation. A pub is just downstairs. But when I walked into the room and saw a few fans working simultaneously, I knew something weren't right. In the end, it was too hot to fall asleep so I ended up walking on the street in the middle of the night.

Very unfriendly staff member and poor facilities ”
The location in very close proximity to Euston Station is ideal, but that’s the only good thing about this hostel. The facilities a poor. The type of metal frame bunk beds provide no privacy whatsoever and the old, small wooden “lockers” are not ideal for people with larger bags. There are only 2 toilets and one is combined with a shower. The shower is fairly big and modern I will say. However both are kept pretty dirty. The worst thing about this hostel is the young black man working behind the bar. Totally unfriendly and projects an attitude of not wanting to be there. His responses are short and abrupt. You are a burden to him if anything!!

In overall I liked have hosted at Exmouth Arms, however I'm not quite sure if I'd back again. Advantages: next to Euston Station; there is a pub downstairs and seemed me a bit cool, even I haven't stayed on there though. Disadvantages: we're not allowed to taking any food into the room unless you buy it from the pub itself; on my first day I had to talk at the reception to turn on the boiler since the water from the shower was cold. It took one day to solve it.

My main complaint is that the showers on the 2nd floor are being remodeled. This meant everyone had to use the 1st floor bathrooms (and also deal with the constant banging in the morning); we weren't given any additional amenities because of this. The hostel isn't terribly dirty or clean, just so-so. Location however is pretty good, as it's near both a train station and metro.
