"The other lobby that is equally impressive is level"

"This hotel was certainly one of the best hotels."

"The hotel was nice, clean and have good rooms."

This ultra luxurious hotel features individual styling by multiple designers, making it the one of the most innovative hotels in the country. This is truly a gem of design, and it is a common experience to see hotel guests checking out the design on other floors as they are all different and amazing. The mid-level pool and fitness center is also a wonder of architecture as the panoramic view of the city seems to reflect off the pool, further increasing the wonderment of this truly unique hotel. There are very few, if any, hotels in the world that can compare with the trend-setting styles of this hotel, and anyone who stays here will certainly leave with stories to tell for years.
"The buffet breakfast is very good and has a lot of variety."

We'll be back.”
Our couple-weekend two night stay at the Silken Puerta America Hotel was great! We had reserved a Deluxe Spaceroom designed by Zaha Hadid and we were amazed by the UFO-feel of the room layout and the very friendly staff! At the same time, the hotel is well situated between the Airport/Ifema and la Puerta del dol, so if you want to do a bit of everything in Madrid, the taxi fees won't be too expensive. We rarely stay twice at the same Hotel for adventure reasons, but we'd seriously risk to return here :-)
Excellent, will stay again / Excelente, me quedaré otra vez.”
This hotel was excellent, recommended, their themed rooms are quite fun, staff was great, everything is clear, the breakfast buffet is amazing and is very clean. Location wise is not perfect, but close enough to Cartagena metro so you can get to the center in no time, the good thing is the proximity to Avenida de America where you can take buses to other interesting spots outside the center of Madrid, There are very small details about this hotel that are not positive, nothing worth to mention, I'll definitely stay again. Recomendado! Repetiré!
An impressive property!”
We stayed at this hotel because of the access to public transit, and the free hotel van to downtown Madrid, and the airport. What we did not expect is the architectural features of the hotel It's rather like an art museum, with different themes on different floors. While the rooms themselves are lovely, with wifi an "interesting" bathtub (on the "Star Wars" floor) it is a classy joint. It's spotlessly clean as well. We included the breakfast buffet in our package, and though a little pricy, I would have to give it five stars. The food is very good, with great variety I don't think you'll be sorry if you stay here on your next Madrid trip. While it is not in central Madrid, a very short walk will put you at the nearby Metro stop. After that, you can really go anywhere in Madrid, though the hotel will drop you off downtown as well. This is one of those hotels that you will remember for the rest of your life. It is quite unique, and quite reasonably priced at the time of year we visited.
I chanced upon this hotel on a magazine and were attracted by its unique concept, where every floor is designed by a different designer. Decided to stay 1 night as a stop over from South America before returning home end May 2017. I am glad I made that choice! To see the different designs at each level is really a very interesting and unique experience. The only regret for me was not having chosen level 2 (Zaha Hadid Space Club) at the time of booking - the picture online for the room cannot translate the awe that one experience when you enter the level. The pure whiteness at the lobby gives you an immediate awe and calmness. The other lobby that is equally impressive is level 8. Unfortunately we did not get to see the interior of the rooms so I cannot comment on the rooms. We stayed at level 11 (because we love high floors) and honestly it was quite good (albeit a bit dark for my liking} and pleasant. The room design is lively and colourful, and served well to lift up our spirit. It also has a nice view of the city centre. With regards to the location, it is near the airport (great as a stopover) and more importantly, it provides FREE shuttle (between 7am to 9pm) to and fro the airport (need to inform the hotel on your arrival) AND to and fro city centre! The staff (especially Alberto) were very pleasant, friendly and genuine. At the 13th floor was the swimming pool and gym, both were a tad small, but at the same level is the glass floored walkway which is really fun to walk on. I did not get to try the breakfast as we had to leave early for the airport. In summary, a great hotel with fun-filled, unique experience, coupled with friendly staff and the convenience of free shuttle.
Great hotel in Madrid, Spain”
The room we stayed at was in the 8th floor. It was comfortable and of course ... gorgeous. The bed was suspended from the ceiling while the header was looking at the window allowing you to have a nice city view while laying on bed. The TV was hidden on the ceiling and of course out of sight. Convenient electronic controls for lights, curtains and windows. From the airport would be better to go the Avenida of America station since you would need to make only one transfer otherwise you need to make 2 if you want to get to the closer Cartagena station. On the station exit at Avenida de America and go right. It would be about 4 blocks in your left.
hotel is very nice, each floor has different design. service is good and food is reasonable price. there is a metro station just min away from the hotel, therefore going to town "Sol" is very easy. although hotel provide wi-fi but not very fast. other than that everything is excellent. if go to madrid i'll go to this hotel again.
too bad about the pool”
the pool was converted into a bar-cum-night club.... we have stayed many times at this hotel and have booked different rooms on different floors... some room designs to our liking, some, not so... but we love the staff and the service of this hotel... the hotel is located in the nice district of madrid... and fabulous asian and galician restaurants are at walking distance
firstly i thought the hotel is around chamartin train station but actually need to take fews metro stops to the hotel. hotel is very nice each floor has different design. my friend stay at 4th floor and i'm stayed at 7th floor. both floors the design is excellent. next time if i go to madrid for holiday i will stay at this hotel again.
Blew my mind...Would definitely visit this hotel again and recommend to anyone visiting Madrid esp. if you want somewhere close to the airport. Amazing hotel with amazing staff, everyone was sooo helpful and friendly. Absolutely love. Planning my trip for next year already.
Amazing hotel and great service”
this was an amazing 5star hotel! we got the choice to choose our room on arrival, either smoking or non smoking. i have to say some rooms are made for couples because some bathrooms are very see through! unless you want you friends to see you naked lol... the elevators needed your room key to access therefore you feel safe that it's only people who work and stay there. the hotel gives a tour of every floor and room everyday but you have to book it in advance. the coolest rooms was floor 12, the presidential suite! it was really modern and massive but really expensive to stay in. the staff was really friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was nice. i must say, me and my boyfriend loved it and if we was to go back to madrid we would stay here again.
Location was not so good but overall stay good”
Pleasant stay as the hotel was very clean with futuristic design. Pillow as a bit hard but didn't have issue sleeping. Was very pleased with the staffs as they were accommodating and cheerful in helping with our checkin and direction. There is a metro within walking distant and plentiful of small bakery and shop in surrounding area. You would have to take metro or taxi to get to central part of madrid. Overall it was a lovely hotel in a nice and quiet setting.
at first i thought the hotel is a bit out of town but actually only take 10 mins by metro to town and is only 1.5 euro each way therefore is ok. there is a metro station just a mins walk from the hotel. designer each floor is nice. my room has a big bath and nice shower. overall everything is good with the price i paid, only down side is wifi is not strong enough.
Hotel with rooms designed by famous architects”
if you are interested in architecture and design, this hotel is a must. each floor has rooms designed by a different well-known architect. there are rooms designed by norman foster, zaha hadid, jean nouvel, and many others. the price is very reasonable for a 5-star hotel, probably because it's quite far away from the city centre (about half an hour by metro, and 15 minutes by taxi).
Could be great but detail is key”
Great welcome from staff (although a welcome drink was advertised - nothing provided), choice of rooms to suit and a lovely clean, welcoming reception area. The corridors on the 7th floor were disappointing, with such attention to detail in the rest of the hotel, why have no detail or anything interesting in the corridors. Room was bonkers but in a great way. Everything was bright red, TV, curtains and window all operated electronically. Toilet was odd, in a glass tube like cubicle but kinda funky. All in all a bizarre but great room. One downside was that the walls were THIN, anytime anybody walked down the corridor or spoke you could hear them. Not so much that you can't sleep, but still distracting. Great hotel but just a few elements away from being truly 5 star.
design slick and comfortable”
loved this hotel one of the sexiest places i've ever stayed. being urban no problem as a real local flavour a soft introduction to madrid
Awesome hotel, short metro trip to city”
What a place! The hotel itself is a tourist attraction in my opinion. Every one of the 12 accommodation levels has been designed by a different designer, and after checking in, my wife and I spent 1-2 hours just having a look at the interior design of each floor, taking many photos and just feeling really, really impressed with the efforts of the designers. Location is not too bad really, it's a 5 minute walk to Cartagena metro stop, and depending on how you go with metro connections, maybe 20 minutes to the city centre. I would fully recommend staying here, you will not regret it!
Trying to be modern but dated”
Hotel is actually a little shabby. The bar in the lobby is out of a 70's movie imagining what a modern bar should be...a bit silly and the furniture a bit scruffy - nothing worse than white leather that doesn't look pristine...the rest unremarkable. The breakfast was adequate in range but expensive for what it was and I didn't try the hotel restaurant because why would you when there are so many great places to eat in Madrid. My room was clean but had to change because one of the bathroom fixtures was broken. Definitely not close to a 5 star hotel, definitely already dated. Staff were helpful and that was a plus but would I stay there again - probably not - would prefer to pay more and actually have a 5 star hotel experience.
Interesting hotel, not quite 5 stars. ”
The hotel is worth a visit for its novelty as every floor (and its rooms) has a different style. Staff are friendly and the shuttle to the airport is free. Its advertised as a 5 star hotel, but I've stayed in 3 star hotels with more complete service / better kept rooms. The room I was in looked a bit 'tired' with broken bath tub fixtures, damaged power outlets, torn blinds etc. The view at the back side of the hotel is not too exciting but the roof top restaurant and bar has an amazing view over part of the city.
Nice Receiption Service”
on the ground floor bar restaurant food is good and price is reasonable, guess could go and try the plaza. each floor has different design and room is nice. the only down side is wifi connection is not so good. easy access to town, metro station just 2 mins away from the hotel.
The best design hotel and the fantastic breakfast.”
it's the most popular and famous hotel in madrid and spaind. the design is amazing and it's the best location from the airport but slightly bad accessing to the main city since you have to take 2 subways to get there but trust me. if you like something differe you must stay here. the design is perfect and stay is good. moreover the breakfast here is 100% best. you will feel great staying here.
