Uniquely beautiful hotel”
With every floor being completely different, your experience can change with each stay it seems. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a fantastic experience. Did not have a chance to take advantage of the on-site pool, or bar but overall the ease of access and central location to the rest of the city would make us return.

Artsy in a fun way ”
Rooms were great and each floor holds a surprise in decor . Only disappointment was that the terrace upstairs was closed. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Beautiful but not isolated”
Everything was quite perfect to the exception that you can be waken up by people chatting in the hallway of the room. The isolation from the room to the hallway is very poor. But we did not hear any neighbors in their room. Besides, it is very clean, the staff is very friendly. The buffet breakfast is very good and has a lot of variety. Nothing deceived us for it being one of the less expensive 5 stars in Madrid.

Not as expected”
Our first impression was- This looks great. Different and stylish. However that quickly turned to disappointment. The room was poorly designed. It had a huge bath but the taps were tucked up the end so far away that you had to stand in it to run it. Given it took half an hour, yep 30 min sites to run, it was a case of stopping off to turn it on, then get dressed and wait. The grout was missing and what was there was loose and if you touched it, resulted in hands being black. The suspected WC was hanging off, and creaked. My wife and I balanced above it through fear of it collapsing on us, and us ending up in a heap on the floor. No soap for hand washing. The safe did not work. Great view though and blackout blinds. The restaurant staff were an experience to behold. After we eventually managed to get a drink we ordered the food. 10 mins later a different waiter came back to check what we ordered. After another 10 mins he came to tell us they had NOTHING on the first menu so gave us another. We ordered again. The food was expensive for what came out (pasta for me and lasagne for my wife) but that said both rated delicious. An hour after going to bed my stomach let rip. In fairness though I suspect it was the usual rubbish people often eat on a road trip which my stomach objected to, but who knows. The pool times were midday to seven which was pathetic. Overall this was one of the most disappointing stays we had had and definitely not worth the money. Perhaps we were just unlucky, let’s hope so and that enough other people give it positive reviews to show that.

This hotel does not look like a five star property. ”
My room was very basic and dark. Good mattress but cheap bed linen. No bathrobe, no slippers. You’ll get a much better deal staying at a 4 star hotel in central Madrid.

We'll be back.”
Our couple-weekend two night stay at the Silken Puerta America Hotel was great! We had reserved a Deluxe Spaceroom designed by Zaha Hadid and we were amazed by the UFO-feel of the room layout and the very friendly staff! At the same time, the hotel is well situated between the Airport/Ifema and la Puerta del dol, so if you want to do a bit of everything in Madrid, the taxi fees won't be too expensive. We rarely stay twice at the same Hotel for adventure reasons, but we'd seriously risk to return here :-)

Excellent, will stay again / Excelente, me quedaré otra vez.”
This hotel was excellent, recommended, their themed rooms are quite fun, staff was great, everything is clear, the breakfast buffet is amazing and is very clean. Location wise is not perfect, but close enough to Cartagena metro so you can get to the center in no time, the good thing is the proximity to Avenida de America where you can take buses to other interesting spots outside the center of Madrid, There are very small details about this hotel that are not positive, nothing worth to mention, I'll definitely stay again. Recomendado! Repetiré!

An impressive property!”
We stayed at this hotel because of the access to public transit, and the free hotel van to downtown Madrid, and the airport. What we did not expect is the architectural features of the hotel It's rather like an art museum, with different themes on different floors. While the rooms themselves are lovely, with wifi an "interesting" bathtub (on the "Star Wars" floor) it is a classy joint. It's spotlessly clean as well. We included the breakfast buffet in our package, and though a little pricy, I would have to give it five stars. The food is very good, with great variety I don't think you'll be sorry if you stay here on your next Madrid trip. While it is not in central Madrid, a very short walk will put you at the nearby Metro stop. After that, you can really go anywhere in Madrid, though the hotel will drop you off downtown as well. This is one of those hotels that you will remember for the rest of your life. It is quite unique, and quite reasonably priced at the time of year we visited.

Uniquen experience.”
I chanced upon this hotel on a magazine and were attracted by its unique concept, where every floor is designed by a different designer. Decided to stay 1 night as a stop over from South America before returning home end May 2017. I am glad I made that choice! To see the different designs at each level is really a very interesting and unique experience. The only regret for me was not having chosen level 2 (Zaha Hadid Space Club) at the time of booking - the picture online for the room cannot translate the awe that one experience when you enter the level. The pure whiteness at the lobby gives you an immediate awe and calmness. The other lobby that is equally impressive is level 8. Unfortunately we did not get to see the interior of the rooms so I cannot comment on the rooms. We stayed at level 11 (because we love high floors) and honestly it was quite good (albeit a bit dark for my liking} and pleasant. The room design is lively and colourful, and served well to lift up our spirit. It also has a nice view of the city centre. With regards to the location, it is near the airport (great as a stopover) and more importantly, it provides FREE shuttle (between 7am to 9pm) to and fro the airport (need to inform the hotel on your arrival) AND to and fro city centre! The staff (especially Alberto) were very pleasant, friendly and genuine. At the 13th floor was the swimming pool and gym, both were a tad small, but at the same level is the glass floored walkway which is really fun to walk on. I did not get to try the breakfast as we had to leave early for the airport. In summary, a great hotel with fun-filled, unique experience, coupled with friendly staff and the convenience of free shuttle.

Great hotel in Madrid, Spain”
The room we stayed at was in the 8th floor. It was comfortable and of course ... gorgeous. The bed was suspended from the ceiling while the header was looking at the window allowing you to have a nice city view while laying on bed. The TV was hidden on the ceiling and of course out of sight. Convenient electronic controls for lights, curtains and windows. From the airport would be better to go the Avenida of America station since you would need to make only one transfer otherwise you need to make 2 if you want to get to the closer Cartagena station. On the station exit at Avenida de America and go right. It would be about 4 blocks in your left.

Blew my mind...Would definitely visit this hotel again and recommend to anyone visiting Madrid esp. if you want somewhere close to the airport. Amazing hotel with amazing staff, everyone was sooo helpful and friendly. Absolutely love. Planning my trip for next year already.

Amazing hotel and great service”
this was an amazing 5star hotel! we got the choice to choose our room on arrival, either smoking or non smoking. i have to say some rooms are made for couples because some bathrooms are very see through! unless you want you friends to see you naked lol... the elevators needed your room key to access therefore you feel safe that it's only people who work and stay there. the hotel gives a tour of every floor and room everyday but you have to book it in advance. the coolest rooms was floor 12, the presidential suite! it was really modern and massive but really expensive to stay in. the staff was really friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was nice. i must say, me and my boyfriend loved it and if we was to go back to madrid we would stay here again.

Location was not so good but overall stay good”
Pleasant stay as the hotel was very clean with futuristic design. Pillow as a bit hard but didn't have issue sleeping. Was very pleased with the staffs as they were accommodating and cheerful in helping with our checkin and direction. There is a metro within walking distant and plentiful of small bakery and shop in surrounding area. You would have to take metro or taxi to get to central part of madrid. Overall it was a lovely hotel in a nice and quiet setting.

Hotel with rooms designed by famous architects”
if you are interested in architecture and design, this hotel is a must. each floor has rooms designed by a different well-known architect. there are rooms designed by norman foster, zaha hadid, jean nouvel, and many others. the price is very reasonable for a 5-star hotel, probably because it's quite far away from the city centre (about half an hour by metro, and 15 minutes by taxi).

Could be great but detail is key”
Great welcome from staff (although a welcome drink was advertised - nothing provided), choice of rooms to suit and a lovely clean, welcoming reception area. The corridors on the 7th floor were disappointing, with such attention to detail in the rest of the hotel, why have no detail or anything interesting in the corridors. Room was bonkers but in a great way. Everything was bright red, TV, curtains and window all operated electronically. Toilet was odd, in a glass tube like cubicle but kinda funky. All in all a bizarre but great room. One downside was that the walls were THIN, anytime anybody walked down the corridor or spoke you could hear them. Not so much that you can't sleep, but still distracting. Great hotel but just a few elements away from being truly 5 star.
