Great Experience”

Pulai Springs certainly did not disappoint. From the great food taste, to amazing pool views. Yes, there are alot of reviews complaining of it being dated, old fashioned, etc.. but there is a certain character to it that modern day buildings just cannot live up to. It is in great condition despite its age! I do especially have one particular area that I would like to bring up - the hospitality. Man! The employees at Pulai Spring Resort are probably the nicest people I have met during my travels! They were accommodating, friendly with massive smiles, and simply lovely! The hotel is only as good as the staff that work there. And there are some very awesome people that work there! From the people at the guard house all the way to the waitresses at the restaurant. 2 thumbs up! I will definitely return to Pulai Springs when I visit Johor in the future :)

My choice, my second home.”

Every time I come down to Johor bahru, my first choice of accommodation would be Pulai Springs Resort. I love the room (definitely), and the resort is quite far from the city (quiet, peaceful). Booking via Agoda.com is very much simpler. Thanks to PS management and their hospitality for approving my request to upgrade our rooms from 2 standard room to a 2-bedroom suite. Marvellous. Really awesome. The food was so-so (perhaps i have been a regular visitor) to PS. Other than that, everything is good, resort is clean, very helpful and friendly staff.

Pulai springs resort”

the pool bar has a good relaxing feel. sauna, steam room and jaquzzi is unisex so you are not parted with your partner, and very clean compared to some 4 star hotel. for a resort the choices of food and cuisine is really good so you don't really need to leave the resort but if you do need to, there is a giant supermarket and jusco store jus 5 mins drive away. they have a good spread for their breakfast which comes with the hotel stay. as parents you will feel the resort is very children friendly.
initially when we checked into the hotel we wanted a room with a queen sized bed but when we entered the room was 2 single bed, then we checked with the front desk, the system was not up dated as so we had to change rooms, some updating of their house keeping is needed. choices of their cocktails maybe has to improve as there were only a few choices. at the elephant&castle bar, the sound system was not too good has to improve. room service took a little too long and the food delivered was warm.

during my stay at pulai spring resort, i felt very relaxed and welcomed, the resort is based around a golf course, lots of greens and peaceful. the resort serves a good variety for their breakfast buffet. the pool side bar was really relaxing as it was onlooking into the green golf course, the staff was really friendly. the resort is like a little piece of peace and tranquility on the out skrits of singapore. just about 1 hour of relaxed driving from tuas check point. once you reach the resort, you will feel secured as the guards will ask you about your arrival and stay, hand you a card for your car to be kept by you. the facilities like the gym, sauna, jaquzzie and steam room are all very clean and unisex so i was able to relax together with my wife. there were a few restaurants to choose from to dine in from korean, western to chinese cuisine, there was also a bbq buffet on the weekends. room service food was not too bad either just that it took about an hour to be delivered. this trip up was with 2 friends, my wife and myself, we felt that the resort is also very children friendly so we will definately bring our kids up the next time.

Big rooms with nice views”

Pool facing golf course, nice chinese resturant and good carpark space

For most Singaporean like me a visit to Malaysia would usually land us in Malacca or further up in KL. The trip will usually ends up with tiring journey home. My recent discovery of Pulai Spring Resort has changed that and I am now able to take a nice break nearby. this hotel located remote from the main town of johor. The sign board is prominent from the main road but I had difficuty to loacate it via GPRS. The reception is very polite and patience however, the guest is still many for 2-3 rececptionist to handle. they have to answer phone. check out customer. Normal check up require at least 30 minutes to be done. The management should hire more staff otherwise. the room is spacious. clean the hotel facilitis is good maintence. We can release from stress when look surrounding and can relaxing your minds. We love this beautiful place. We love to eat at Gleneagle Restaurant. The foods were delicious with affordable prices and the staff are helpful and friendly. The resturant are comfortable and relaxing. It was indeed a refreshing break with wide and good spread of buffet for our breakfast. I have stayed in a one bed room unit and the room was nicely decorated and very clean. It is spacious enough for the 2 of us. I will be making the next trip soon especially the weekend tostado away from the hustle and bustle of fast pace place like Singapore. Above all the journey is just a short drive away from home and the hotel rate affordable

Great stay”

We stayed at Anugraha Hotel as there are all premier deluxe room located. Anugraha located in the Pulai Spring Resorts. We stayed there for our mini honeymoon. clean and spacious room. There was balcony if you need fresh air. The bathroom also quite big with bath, shower and toilet. The closet can be access from the room and inside the shower. the wall where the bath being attached is actually a wood sliding door; we can open it and walk directly to our king size bed. Great sense of privacy as Anugraha located quite far from Cinta Ayu but next to the golf field. No child allowed in Anugraha if I'm not mistaken. You can request for breakfast in room but need to inform them a day early. But we decided just to walk to Cinta Ayu for our breakfast. The breakfast also good, they keep top up the food until 10:30 AM.

A very big and decent 3 Bedroom Suite”

Big suite, walk in wardrobe, nice pool view.

It seems like Pulai Springs Resort does not really entertain early check-in but they do allowed late check-out. Luckily when I checked in at 5+, I was given a room straight away. Taking the slow, small and not-new lift, we walked quite a bit of distance to our suite which is located at the last corner unit. The whole suite was big and spacious, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe. There is a small balcony with a nice pool view. Floors were rather dusty and uneasy to walk without wearing any flipflops. Some of their bedsheets and towels were slightly stained but we are quite alright about it although it was not a good sight. Sofa and dining table seats were old, dusty and heavily stained. Shower tap water was small. It was actually located at a out-of-nowhere place, very inconvenient to get to any where without a car. The nearest shopping attraction would be the Johor Premium Outlets which still requires a 15mins drive. Overall, it was a fine stay at Pulai Springs Resort.

The room was splendid, air-cond is cold, good surrounding

The hotel staff was terrible. During my check in, the staff made me wait almost 2hours for the room. The staff said the room still under maintenance because the previous guest had check out late. I did asked whether we can check out late because we were made almost two hours. The staff said we will bear the lost and need to check out in time. I was disbelieve with this arrangement. At the end, the stuff just ignore us and the other stuff come and attend us. The other stuff did a good job. He knows we were waiting for quite long thus he upgraded our room from 3 bedroom suite to 4 bedroom suite. Yet he also grant us to check out late. Thus, my personal point of view PulAi spring resort need to upgrade the staff attitude and service.

Great for a Staycation”

Had a fun stay at Pulai Springs Resort. The staff were very friendly and even accommodated our request for late check out even if its a peak day (New Year's Eve). The ambience is peaceful and really great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast spread was good as well! The downside of this resort is just that some of the facilities have been quite 'abandoned' like the Cineplex. I was looking forward to watching a movie but the so called Cineplex looks like those in the horror movies and you had to book in advance to be able to watch which we weren't able to do (blessing in disguise haha). The bar counter was closed at 10pm so if you intend to have a drink or two, better buy outside and just chill inside the room. But overall, it was an excellent stay and will be back!

Upon check in its very late already almost 9pm the hotel upgrade ours Suite to bigger Suite at The Anugraha Hotel, but there is missed understanding on my side.. lucky that the Manager Mr. Abdullah act so fast and tried to give us few options instead but still the upgraded suite is the best. A nice escape”

Great value for money

Set in a secluded sprawling estate, Pulai Springs Resort is easily one of the most pleasant resorts in Johor Bahru in which to relax. Yes, it is getting on a bit and needs some upgrading, but on the whole we found it clean, quiet, good value for money and the staff were pleasant, too. The resort's main wing houses the Cinta Ayu suites whilst a separate building some distance away, accessbile by golf kart, houses the boutique Anugraha suites. We had previously stayed at the Anugraha suites and found it to be very comfortable and nicely decorated indeed. This time round we opted for the 1 bedroom Cinta Ayu suite and the difference between the two was immediately obvious, the Cinta Ayu suites were large but rather basic in terms of decor and equipment. It did have a kitchen as well as a good sized bathroom, but the focus was clearly on functionality with little regard paid to things aesthetic, it could certainly not be described as posh in any way. Nonetheless, the room was acceptable and the hotel grounds were clean and well maintained, breakfast was very average and one had to use ones imagination to assemble something tasty from the sometimes uninspiring items at the buffet. There were also many sports and recreational facilities and activities on offer which we simply did not have the time for. We were also happy with the fact that it offered covered car parking facilities just below the rooms which meant we did not have to wake up in the morning to clean off any souvenirs thoughtfully left behind by passing birds.

Can't find one thing to put in this box!

The Pulai Springs Resort in Johor Baru is a favourite place to take a break from the hectic lifestyle of Singapore. We go 2 or 3 times a year for three or four days to relax and recharge. The Chinese resturant serves great food as does the Coffee shop. I love the two swimming pools and swim at least twice a day. The spa is also excellent value. A great place for a rest.

The Pulai Springs Resort is my most favourite spot for rest and recreation because of its easy accessability from Singapore, it's well kept gardens and golf course, it's good quality food at reasonable prices, it's good swimming pools and recreation centre. The spa is also good value and the staff well trained. Above all is the peace and tranquility away from the rush of city life. The suites are of very good quality also. Highly recommended for a short or long break away from the crowds.

The stay was to attend UTM Convo, which located 5km from the resort. I booked 2 bedroom suite. The room is spacious and complete with 2 amazing walk-in wardrobe. We enjoy the facilities (especially kids) - swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, gym & indoor playland. The crews are helpful & able to fulfil my request - anniversary bedroom deco & baby cot. Morning breakfast just perfect for my tummy to start the convocation day. We will come again later. Thx Pulai Springs Resort .

We Just Keep Coming Back”

This was our seventh stay at Pulai Springs Resort. It's a great weekend getaway for us from the concrete and pollution of the city. While the accommodations are comfortable, the best part for us is the outdoor environment. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful. While the place is showing some signs of wear, like some rotten wood on one of the shelters, and missing tiles in the pool, overall it's kept up much better than some other "resorts" we've visited in Malaysia. Well worth checking out if you are in the area.

beautiful resort, comfortable, reasonable price”

Hotel rooms, Gardens/golf course, Qing Palace restaurant

Pulai Springs is an excellent place to stay for a short, restful getaway. The two pools are pleasant, particularly the older one, which has a slide. Good for kids. The rooms are very comfortable, and the architecture and its accompanying ambiance/atmosphere have stood the test of time - it still looks great a decade on, which is unusual in Malaysia. The breakfast is simple, and decent, provided you are willing to stick to the local dishes. Egg station is a nice plus. Staying there as a group, we particularly liked having the option of paintball in the hotel. Unfortunately, paintball there is relatively more expensive than the bigger and more remote paintball courses in Johor, but what you lose in money you gain in convenience. Staff are all reasonably nice, and always polite, but don't expect them to bend over backwards or make special arrangements for you.

Pulai Spring Resort Johor Bahru”

Great location, surrounded with green environment and beautiful golf course.
None.

Pulai Spring Resort Johor Bahru is one of the best place to relax and destress. In fact this is the 2nd time we stayed there, the last time was last year and definitely will come again. I love the layout of the resort where outdoors and sport activities were separated from the main building. The room is spacious and clean. The beautiful view from the room added a great feeling of relaxation. Food served for breakfast was excellent with great varieties.
