Best hostel in central Taiwan”

I'm usually skeptical of hostels but this is one for the books. First of all it's super clean, the bunk bed is soft and comfy. The water is hot and the shower has an amazing water pressure. Body wash and shampoo are provided. There is a kitchen area down stairs and you get free tea. They had Rooibos tea even, that's the South African tea. So I felt quite at home. I was there during Chinese New Year, the owner's family was there. His mom made some traditional New Year's cake for us. They were delicious! Min is the owner and his wife is amazing. They are naturally kind and helpful. His entire family is. I became great friends with his sister. I'm going back to Puli in June and I will definitely be staying with them. Also the bus stop, night market and eating places are within a walking distance. I loved it. We played UNO with some travelers as well. Wish they had a TV for movies though on those cold nights where you just want to stay in. Other than that, this is truly a 5 star hostel

Great choice for budget stay”

The hostel is conveniently located at the heart of Puli, next to the famous wine factory. There are food options and supermarket just right next to it. The room and clean, comfortable and plenty of showering slots available. Fully recommended for those with limited budget.

This is a place I will recommend to anyone who is going to visit Puli. Room is spacious and clean. Owner love coffee and make very good coffee.

A nice homely hostel”

Excellent location near bus terminal for buses to Sun Moon Lake , Cingjing and other places. A very clean hostel with a cosy and beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Love this boutique hostel. Highly recommended .

Cozy & warm stay”

First time stay in a hostel though I.booked a single room . I like the hospitality, warmth & helpfulness of the hostel owners Ming & Yan-ting. Just next to Nantou bus terminal which makes it convenient for travel to Sun Moon Lake, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and Cingjing. I love my stay and met nice family and solo travellers.

Amazing staff. The owner is very friendly and helpful, making it one of my best hostel experiences. He will go out of his way to answer questions about directions/travel/anything! Highly recommend.

Value for money ”

Location very near to bus station, less then 5mins walk. Best choice if you traveling to sun moon lake or chi Jin farm by bus here. The staff here is very friendly n helpful, rooms, shower, toilets , living n resting areas are super clean, very happy n impressed of their efforts to maintain these place so comfortable for traveler. Definitely will come back again.

The owners are really nice couple. Very good recommendation for food and sightseeing around. I enjoyed the all details of decorations and design with considerate detail. Relax common area and friendly people always made me feel like home. Definitely clean, tidy and comfortable. Convenient transportation connection nearby. I will be back!

Over-local and dominant ”

I think the room is fine but sound insulation is really bad. I can't sleep well. The location is really strategic but the officers there are really dominant and not enough considerate, very Chinese style management, unless you like it. The whole environment has mosquito. Be prepare.

Very nice!!! The hosts, the designs n the location. The sound proof performance may not be good to some, yet it's not a problem to me. Will stay again if I have the chance!

Me hospedé junto con un par de amigas durante 2 noches en este hostal, el personal es muy amable, te apoyan en todo momento y la ubicación es excelente ya que justo alado se encuentra la central de autobuses. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, cómodas y muy limpias. Es una exelente opción si planeas visitar Puli o buscas un hospedaje a buen precio para ir a Sun Moon Lake. Definitivamente superó mis expectativas!!! Si regreso a Puli lo volvería a elegir sin duda! :D
