Where to stay in Puli Township
Puli Township hotels & accommodations

The only weakness of the Puli Ease Hotel is receptionist's attitude. I lost my wool vase in the room, and called back to ask about it. The receptionist answered the phone without thinking and replied insincerely" no, no one found your vase." I think the receptionist can reply us after searching for a client, with better attitude. If she can help us to find it out, I...

The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent as many buses, even free shuttle tourist buses that ferry you around the place are available at the bus stop right outside the hotel. Being 5 minutes away from Puli Winery makes this highly accessible for non-driving tourists who come from Taichung. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfa...

Hotel is located very near puli bus station which you would need to take to get to puli. Room is comfortable and facilities were excellent. Located just opposite a 24hr family mart and a big fruit store. Will be best if they're able to loan bikes to guest as the transportation system within puli is poor.

when reach puli station, just call the number , the lady will come to pick you, the room is very clean, has clean bed sheet and quilt cover, we do not drive a car, but can walk to puli bus station at about 15 minutes, still OK, free bicycle to use . has hot and cold drinking water, and paper cup, slipper , tooth brush, tower, everything is very clean and comfortable. h...

I booked this hotel at the last minute and it was one of the only ones available in Puli that particular weekend. It is pretty far outside of town, meaning you'd not even want to think about staying here unless you're driving or cycling, but apart from that it's quite comfortable. As near as I can tell it's basically a bunch of holiday homes in the countryside that hap...

Lakeside is quite old and much of the infrastructure of both the hotel and the area has seen better days. Breakfast was more than adequate. You will need a car to get lunch and dinner in Puli as there were no places open on weekdays and only one small shop that seems to mostly sell beer. The area around the lake is quite lovely and worth the time to walk around it. A l...

You need to lock up your room doors whenever you are inside or outside the room using the provided key, there's no auto lock function. The WIFI password maybe not as stated clearly to you, which you need to figure out yourself, and the owner don't even know. The room is spacious as I booked a 2 double beds room, spacious for my luggage and roaming around. Breakfast was...

Its located a bit far from Puli city (not walkable distance), but at the road heading to Sun Moon Lake. The hotel was new and doesn't look like a hotel, there was no reception desk, it was completely closed and looked like a shop. We had to call the contact person a few times to get his help. The room was good and everything went fine after the owner came. It was nice ...

Overall a pretty good place considering the price. Would have been inconvenient if you are not driving though, otherwise there are plently of parking space right at the entrance. The building itself looks rather unassuming though. Rooms are located on the second storey, whereas the bar and other facilities like Karaoke are on the first level. One good thing is that the...

Large room but dated by most standards. Breakfast, while seemingly plentiful, was largely disappointing. Considering the price of our stay (albeit being the busiest holiday season and thus double the usual rate) and what was provided, there are far better values elsewhere, just perhaps not in Puli, an extremely small and isolated town in the least populated county in T...

This is one of the cheapest hostels I've stayed in in Taiwan, but with the best service! The staff immediately gave me recommendations for trips around Puli and places to eat (the bawan nearby, and the fruit juice shop on Road 14 are worth it!), the partitioned room was as soundproof as you'd expect a dorm to be, bathroom was clean with towels and toiletries provided, ...

The breakfast is very good and healthy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Since there is no lift, we have to walk up the stairs with the luggage. The staff helped us to take the luggage upstairs. There were ants in the room even though we didn't have any food.

We booked a villa. Very quiet and spacious. Lighting not great, one would not be able to read or see your face on bathroom mirror. But they promptly provided two reading lamps upon request. Location is quite far from Taichung airport or Taichung city. But there are several scenic, well paved walking/ biking trails nearby leading to temples and villages. Free buffet br...

This is a great homestay hotel close (Walking distance to central puli). Its about a 30 minute drive from sun moon lake and 20 minutes from the Aboriginal Village theme park. The family that run this place are charming accommodating and can speak English. They even made a personal western style breakfast for us on our second night which was lovely. They respect your p...

A-nana Cottage is a bit out of town. You have to walk for 20 minutes before reaching the center of Puli Township, but you can also borrow the bikes or call a taxi so it's not a big problem at all. The hosts are super friendly and they will provide you with a delicious breakfast. They can also help you prepare your trip to the mountains. And if you like books, and you r...

Besides the sweet and lovely bear decoration, the hosts of the B&B was the most impressive to me. We stayed at 4 different B&Bs during my Taiwan trip, I felt the hosts of Bear Meets Moose Bed and Breakfast were truly hospitality and willing to 'talk' to the guests, sharing the local restaurant and sightseeing points. My heartfelt thanks to them.

The room is really nice, comfortable and clean. The whole facilities was outstanding, although it was raining when we were there but I can tell the whole resort is surrounded with natural habitat. The room is really nice, clean and the hot spring was nice too. I strongly recommended this resort for future stay. Will be back again, for sure!

It was a nice stay at Puli City Home Villa. The common living room loccated at the ground floor of another building was for share use with Puli City Home villa. The host were friendly and the two dogs were lovely. The breakfast was in a healthy style with differnet kinds of local vegetables.

I have been stay 3 night(separate day) at the same place and the owner upgrade my room (from twin room shared bathroom to twin room with bathroom ) without additional charge for the 1st night stay . simple check in by getting the key from the owner and simple luggade storage by putting at a place (discuss with owner) ...the room is clean and hot shower provided ...ai...

I'm usually skeptical of hostels but this is one for the books. First of all it's super clean, the bunk bed is soft and comfy. The water is hot and the shower has an amazing water pressure. Body wash and shampoo are provided. There is a kitchen area down stairs and you get free tea. They had Rooibos tea even, that's the South African tea. So I felt quite at home. I was...

Location was ok, 10 minute walk to bus station. Room was big but the floor was dirty. Also the bathroom wasn't very clean, hair everywhere. Air con was given to us for free but the room was quite overpriced and there didn't seem to be any other guests there. We only saw the owner once during our 2 night stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! Very clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom. Good location too--it's just a short walk from Dacheng Elementary School. This hotel is too far from Puli bus station. Visitor has to take the TAXI around 200 NT to reach this hotel. Nothing to do there because it located on country side. No 7-11, no restaurant etc. The receptor cannot speak English. More importantly, there is no wifi.

This is the most clean hostel I ever stay, even the bathroom tile has no mold seam. The bed sheet and mattress r clean and comfortable same as hotel standard. Convenient location and hostel elevator is available which is a plus for luggage carrying up and down issue. Easy going owner

The owner is very kind and very helpful. Very good breakfast. Very affordable price. The location is not an issue, give a call to the owner, he will come and receive you, and even drop your nearest location. I would recommend this guest house anyone looking for budget guest house.

Parking space is not enough for customer. I also want to say that the day I arrived the hotel and try to call to agoda, I can't contact your service staff.
