Great stay at Pullman Bali”

Very nice & friendly staffs, value for money, great facility

I stayed in Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana Hotel for a 4 night stay. I must say that it's really value for the price I've paid. I received a complimentary upgrade to Grand Deluxe room, which is very spacious with extra Sofa Bed, various fitness equipment (jumping ropes, barbels, and yoga mats) and a small balcony overlooking the pool. The staffs are really nice and friendly, breakfast were great - from Western, to Asian and Balinese traditional food's available. The hotel itself located in the busiest street in Bali, which may not be suitable for traveller seeking for a quiet accommodation. Another drawback is that the street's a one way street, and thus for us to go to the shopping mall nearby (around 1km, 15 mins by walking) cars/ motorbikes need to make a big U-turn. However, my family really loved on how much food we can find around the hotel - and not to mention some traditional shops around selling clothes and handicrafts. In a nutshell, I had a really great time staying in this hotel! Highly Recommended!

Beachfront on good location”

Nothing not to like about Pullman Bali Legian. It's just across the road from Legian Beach. Stayed in an ocean view room which although noisy during the day with traffic, balconies offer beautiful views of the beach. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Beds are very comfy and good size rooms. Like the addition of little shop for essentials & coffee & cake. Connectivity !ounge is fantastic if you have late night flights. We will be returning again ... Great value for money stay.

Relaxing hotel, lovely staff & roof top pool.”

Great breakfast, lovely staff in lobby & beautiful grassy areas

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in June 2012. We had just come from the Hard Rock Hotel Kuta and can say that we enjoyed this hotel much more. We stayed in a grand deluxe room. It was a great size and a great layout with the bathroom hidden away behind the bed area. One thing I will mention is that the floors in the room are very noisy and you never get used to it! The floors are some type of floating floor boards but it seems that maybe the floor is not level, so walking on the causes them to move and make a lot of noise. You will understand what I mean when you stay there although it will not ruin your stay! The pools were lovely although a bit small considering the size of the hotel. The roof top pool has a great view out to the beach but no shade. If you are after shade and a pool for children then the bottom, garden pool, will suit you better. The hotel is in a good location in Legian. The hotel is on a rather busy corner but that is not too concerning and it is just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Getting back to the hotel can be somewhat difficult in a taxi depending on where you are coming from as it is surrounded by one way streets but that is common in Bali and the taxi will still only be relatively cheap considering that you have probably gone about 10-15 mins extra because the main streets are one way. The hotel was clean and we had no problems with anything in the room or the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our room rate although we were given a deal of 100K per day plus taxes which we thought seemed worth it.

The place to stay if you want to go to Bali but still feel at home”

There is no doubt that The Pullman is a beautiful hotel and in regards to facilitie, service and cleanliness etc. I couldn’t fault it. However in saying that, I personally would not stay here again as I prefer more Balinese style. If you blind folded me and took me to the Pullman in Bali, I wouldn’t know if I was in Bali, America or Australia. It is very westernised and not much character or Bali feel other than the beautiful franginpani trees. For me personally, there are too many children and families. The swimming pools are packed everyday and it’s hard to get a sunbed to yourself and if you do you are guaranteed to have someone’s children jumping in the pool and splashing you every 5 mins while you are trying to relax. Some people would love this but I prefer smaller boutique hotels or guest house where I really get the Bali experience. The Pullman is ideal for families and people wanting to still feel like they are in the West.

Fun, Filled with Adventures, yet Relaxing”

Located across from the beach, quiet but still fairly close to the nightlife

Great hotel. Nice room with a beach view. The hotel doesn't have a private beach, but it's across the street from the beach. They do have 2 great pools (one infinity pool). I was a little surprised there was no iron in the room (they can get you one upon request); also the concierge could not offer the convenience of postage and shipment of postcards for the guests. Nonetheless, my stay was very nice and comfortable. I found it pleasantly surprising that they offered a beach bag and even workout gear, such as dumbbells and jumping rope. Strict security to go in the hotel. They help with getting taxis. I did not get to use the spa, but it looked nice. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is located in Legian, at the border with Kuta. The Kuta "party area" is not too far (maybe a 20-minute walk), but taxis may take longer due to high traffic, narrow streets with plumbing work in progress, a lot of one-way streets, etc. Still - it is more quiet but still convenient for nightlife. It can be difficult to get to Seminyak, depending on traffic, it ca take 20 minutes to an hour, so if you're looking for just nice restaurants and shopping, and are less interested in nighlife, it may be easier to stay in Seminyak.

Exceed my expectation”

Infinity pool, friendlly staff, amazing view and large bathroom

The Pullman Hotel exceed my expectation in every aspect. 3 of us stayed at the Pullman in the Ocean Viewed Room for the duration of 5 nights and 6 days and was welcomed to the hotel with fresh juice. The staff at the Pullman are very accommodating and tentative to our request. The hotel offer security at the gate, hail down taxi for us and also write down the taxi plate number in case there is any problem. The hotel also do room service twice per day to ensure our room are squeakily clean. Beside watching the sunset while lounging at the roof top infinity pool, you can also float in the garden pool under the moon light with the acoustic band playing by the pool. The room at Pullman are large and have all the usual facilities. But they go the extra mile with providing skipping rope, weight and even a beach bag in the bath room closet for your convenience. We had to check out at 12Pm but we had a late flight so the hotel offered us to use the passenger lounge at free of charge. We get to spend the day by the beach/pool and still get to shower, charge out phone and watch TV in the passenger lounge. All in all, one of the best hotel and I've stayed at. Will return if given the chance.

A modern hotel with a great location”

Comfortable beds, new facilities, great service

Located on the border of Legian and Kuta, the Pullman offers luxury accommodations and a great location. It's close enough to trawl through Kuta if that's your thing but far enough from the crowds that sunsets and evenings are peaceful. The staff are well-trained, very friendly and helpful, anticipating your needs quite well. The rooms feel new, with excellent furnishings and soft, comfy beds. Most rooms seem to have balconies which is a big plus to enjoy the cool evenings and sea breezes. Price-wise the hotel offers good value for money, as the facilities are all well-kept and can stand comparison with much higher-priced hotels.

Great for short stay, but food and beverage prices are ridiculously high for quality received”

We are regular visitors to Bali (every 3 months for last 7 years). This was our first visit to the Pullman. We booked in for an extended stay (9 days) for myself and 2 kids. Great location, fantastic friendly staff, clean modern rooms... BUT - The buffet breakfast is the worst we've ever had at a Bali resort. Very little choice. Boiled eggs on display were completely raw when cracked on two of the mornings - as in clear eggs whites and totally raw that exploded over my plate. One morning I tried to order a smoothie (extra charge of AUD $6)... 25 minutes later we had finished breakfast and no smoothie had arrived, so had to go did the staff to cancel it (they were busy serving free coffee and tea). Prices for a BUFFET dinner in the resort are very high ($30 per person plus 21% tax and service); Absolute Ridiculous food prices for mass produced buffet food - when that price you can go to a genuine 5 star dining experience at Merah Puti's or Sardines!!

I stayed in hotel for three nights. Hotel is nice in legian region. It is close to all action packed places in Kuta yet away from them. You can enjoy nice swim in pool overlooking ocean. The beach is quieter than Kuta one can have relatively more privacy on the beach. Staff was extremly polite and helpful, Here I would like to mention about girl at reception named Meidi who tried to help me find my mobile by ringing up various places I had visited night before. Very nice gesture on her part.Hotel has an aura of lavishness .

Very good hotel, but...”

Infinity pool, close to the beach, lovely staff

This hotel is mostly what you expect from the Pullman/Accor group. It's close to local shopping and restaurants; across the road from the beach; lovely staff; clean rooms; nice garden area; fairly extensive breakfast choice. Try always to get a discount price, as it is NOT worth the rack rate. Deluxe King Rooms are a generous size. The bathrooms are large, well appointed and mostly clean. Wifi works pretty well, although they limit the number of devices per room. This is probably ok for a lot of people, but if 2 people have a mobile phone and a tablet/laptop each, forget it! Bad points for us were; fairly poor choice of TV channels, in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in. Acceptable level only, but not what the Pullman group should provide. The spa is far too expensive - just down the road are places much cheaper and virtually as good. While the infinity pool on the 3rd pool has a fabulous outlook, there is not nearly enough shade there. If you want to roast yourself all day, that's fine, but for other people, please add more umbrellas or shade cloths!! The mosquitos in the room are HORRENDOUS. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that actually provides insect spray in the rooms - an indication of what to expect. Make sure you spray before going to bed, every night, and ask for a new can whenever it runs out! Minor problems only, I admit, but the Pullman / Accor should seriously aim higher.

Great sized rooms, with excellent bathrooms

We enjoyed our stay at the new Pullman hotel in Bali. The rooms were large and very well appointed. The daily servicing was excellent. The staff around the hotel were all lovely. The gardens and pool areas were lovely, but not hugely used. Some fantastic 'chill out' areas around the hotel added to a nice feel around the property. The guests were very mixed with Australians, Indonesians, Japanese, couples, families, small groups of friends and corporate travelers. We would go back to this hotel again, as it is in a great location, the rooms were lovely and the facilities were very good.
