The getaway ”

The getaway holiday in the Pullman Port Douglas was great ! the room and the facilities at the hotel were excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating without being obtrusive. The atmosphere was relaxing and just what was required to take that well earned break from the hectic work and normal life schedule. The Port Douglas are is beautiful and the barrier reef was fantastic. Loved the place and rates up there with a few others as one of the best places to have a holiday.

The surroundings of the resort the golf course and pool views! Roof top spa was out favorite part of out stay! I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in port douglas go to sea temple! Very romantic resort for couples and perfect for family vacations ! Gorgeous rooms

Great place ”

Had a fantastic time at Pullman Sea Temple would highly recommend it to any couples or family's interested in a trip to Port Douglas. Pool was nothing short of amazing, my trip was in early December very few guest at that time however the weather was amazing which made our stay very enjoyable.

Superb resort”

We stayed at the Pullman for two nights The room included 2 bedrooms, the size was huge, we had a private pool. the swimming pool of the hotel is huge, there is a hot spa next to it, we felt the resort was pretty quiet. The room was furtnished excellently. There is an easy access to the beach and it is possible to reach port douglas center in one hour walk which is a very nice walk, the shuttle can bring you back to the resort for $5 per person. The resort by night looks fantastic as well, with the lights. We did not dine in but the menu looks promising.

Beautiful Resort”

We booked the king spa studio for one night at a great price - they often have specials for 2 nights also.. The room was cosy but not too small, a balcony and bathroom with the biggest spa I've seen - very roomy for two people. The bed was extremely comfortable - the best in all our travels! Big T.V and easy access to the gorgeous swimming pools that wrap around the resort. For such a large complex it was actually very quiet - you can hear the staff zooming around in their golf carts but they are very conscious of keeping the noise to a minimum. The restaurant had a great selection and we enjoyed our meals - I must commend the Restaurant Manager - she was very attentive and had excellent skills in customer service, nothing was too much trouble and that kind of attitude is rare in hospitality these days. The beach is a few steps away and we loved our morning stroll on the sand. It was raining most of our stay but we still loved our time at the Sea Temple and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

truely amazing hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Temple. The photos got us hooked straight away and we our room for an amazing price. After reading all the comments we were very worried about having loud kids playing in the swimming pool every day and disturbing our get away. But to our surprise there were none. It was nice and quiet and we've seen a few other couples around having each our own intimate stay.

A lovely resort - however, given the cost of the stay a few areas that niggled - to have a surcharge for credit card is a bit of a rip off. Also the staff service lacked at times - particularly reception. Given the location of the resort you really need a car - especially as the shuttle costs $5 per trip (each way!!!!) and in a rattley old van. If you want to be able to walk everywhere in Port Douglas this is not the resort for you

Fantastic hotel for relaxing”

Not so nice to stay at this hotel for work as it is such a nice hotel and I look forward to bringing my family back to it and enjoying the beach, pools and Port Douglas.

Exceptional”

We had an awesome time at the Sea Temple. We stayed for a week and had our Marraige Vow renewal on the beach. Brittany and Catherine made our ceremony plans run seemless. Katherine was a great dining and bar host when she looked after us during our meal. She was also very good with looking after the young children we had with us in our group. She is one of a very few people who I have came across who can remember a food order without writing it down - and never made any mistakes. Thanks again. You guys were awesome :)

Worth the outlay!”

I would recommend this resort for both families and couple. The resort is beautiful. The pool is amazing. It's the biggest pool in the Southern Hemisphere. There are plenty of deck chairs, pool bar and nice towels. We stayed in the penthouse which boasts its own spa on the roof which is private and a BBQ. The rooms are clean and spacious. It offers a fully equip kitchen if you prefer to cook. The wifi isn't the greatest - that's the only complaint.

Girls trip / second time staying at the Pullman Resort”

My sister and I spent 4 nights in a studio room with two king single beds. The room was very spacious and had a Huge spa as a private courtyard. Our rooms were serviced daily and we had our own mini bar. The pools here are why we choose the resort and they did not disappoint. We swam several times, joined the pool bar happy hour and ate in the restaurant. Also a beautiful walk along four mile beachWe booked our tours and shuttles through the front desk. Every person we spoke with was so accommodating and helpful. We can’t wait to come back

Wonderful tropical surrounds”

Beautiful resort with wonderful surrounds and a pool that meanders throughout the gardens. Lovely pool bar and the restaurant is very seasonably priced. The room was large and well appointed. Modern cooking facilities means you can cater for yourself when you want to. We had the 1 bedroom penthouse but next time we will book a swim out room as the roof top BBQ area was disappointing due to it being. Huge cement expanse with no ambience at all. Would be unbearable in the summer with the heat beating down on the Tarmac.

Great resort with very friendly staff”

The resort is a great place to stay for couples or families. The restaurants are great with very friendly and attentive staff. The pool is great with a great pool bar just nearby. The resort is very close to the beach and has an amazing golf course. The only thing that may bother you is cleanliness as there were ants in our room. Also, because of the fact that the resort is in an open location, safety of guests from general fauna and flora needs more attention.

Great resort for relaxation ”

Loved the pool and jacuzzi spa hot tub but the water in hot tub was pre-filled and weren’t sure whether it was clean . It had a strong chlorine smell to it comparing to the pool. Rooms were reasonably clean but found a plastic ball under the sofa. Kitchen would’ve been better if cooking oil, salt and pepper were provided. Otherwise, couldn’t fault the hotel. It was so good we chose to stay at the resort most of the time especially when it’s too hot outside.

Great resort..impossible to fault!”

We loved our stay at the Sea Temple. Our 2 bedroom appt was spacious, clean and modern. We had a ground floor unit that was mere metres from the pool. Had a private spacious patio area that was fully gated making it great for keeping the kids safe and contained! Ate at the restaurant on the last night, opted for the seafood platter which was massive and really good. My only gripe is that its a shame the pool wasn't heated slightly. Didn't seem to bother the kids though!

Superb apartment and friendly staff”

I cannot speak highly enough of the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment we stayed in. The rooftop was truly unique and set up to use. Staff were friendly though service was a bit slow at times. The restaurant was excellent for an evening meal. The only downside is the distance out of town, though cheap shuttles are easily obtained. For the hotel facilities, a significant improvement in the menu and quality of the food at the poolside bar would be in order as it falls well below the overall standard of the resort

Great pool, spacious room, friendly staff, ”

Need more catering choices, breakfast was good but basically remained the same over the duration of our stay, which is fine for a few days. Cleanliness and house keeping quality could do some improving, kitchenware and glassware had oil marks all over, and used milk was found in the fridge. Understandable for a remote location but can be improved when judged with standard pullman standard.

Looks good on arrival though no substance ”

The resort looks impressive on arrival, however the details in hospitality are missing. Staff were not engaging, appeared to not give a damn and the little details such as enough towels, decent tea and coffee, robes, an umbrella in the torrential rain were all missing. Having just stayed at Alamanda in Palm Cove where the staff and facilities were exceptional, there was a glaring difference at the Pullman Port Douglas and it wasn't good!

Great location and good rooms”

This resort is well appointed and the rooms are a good size. We had a 2 bedroom, and it was very roomy. We ate at the inhouse restaurant quite a few times, and it was very good.

Fantastic service”

In addition to the beautiful resort and location, the staff was absolutely marvelous. Our flight was delayed and there was a snafu with the airport transfer, but management and staff more than made up for it. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
