Convenient place to stay for a climb up to Adam's Peak”
We staid one night at Punsisi Rest Hotel to climb up to Adam's Peak the day after. The staff was very friendly, and our luggage was carried up to the rooms with terrace situated above the actual building.The bedrooms provide mosquito protection and a relatively good sleeping comfort with aircon. The bathroom was also clean and offers warm water shower though would benefit from renovation. The hotel served a freshly prepared rice and curry for dinner, a wake up tea at 2 am and finally a continental (Western)breakfast upon our return from Adam's Peak at 8:30 am. They also offered the opportunity to join a guided group however we found the way by ourselves. Our driver was accommodated too and reported positively as well. Given local standards this accommodation deserves a much better rating in our view.

Good location but be prepared to rough it”
Hotel is well-located for a hike to Adam's Peak - but will definitely not plan to stay there any longer. Ask for one of the rooms in the main building - there a more rooms in separate villas but you will have to walk up more flights of stairs which is terrible after the hike to the peak. It rained when we were there and the porch roof leaked. The rooms were dark and dingy and bathroom shower was over the toilet and sink. Sheets were not clean. Hotel has a restaurant but expect simple food options.

Hotel location good for climb Adam's Peak, our room located on mid level of the hill .(Top features of the hotel include free Wi-Fi in all rooms) this show on agoda .com, but when we check in the staff told us only have wifi at restaurant. Restaurant food not nice, the staff service was terrible.

Not worth the money ”
My stay was awful. The stairs leading to my room were awful. I asked for another room and they then put me in a corner room which was the worst room ever. There's no wifi in the rooms. The wait staff are slow, I waited an hour for my dinner and it wasn't busy at all. The staff (though some are friendly) are rude. The room was so loud. Chairs scrapping on the floor above, loud speakers outside blaring and he bed was uncomfortable with a ripped mosquito net. No water. Don't do it. Stay somewhere else.

Don't stay here! Not worth the location!”
This was a terrible stay. They put the two of us in their highest room, located at the top of huge amount of stairs at the top of the hill. Upon realizing where they put us, we asked to be on a lower level, only to be told they were sold out when in fact we saw at least ten empty rooms that were wide open and ready to go. When we finally got to our room, there was no wifi (we were too far from the router), no hot water, AND no flushing toilet! The sink was also broken and was not running. The staff were unaccomodating to all our issues, so all we could do is bare it since we were headed out to climb Adam's Peak at 2am. For the price we paid, it definitely was not worth it! Bad overall!

Aucun intérêt à part son emplacement”
Hôtel très moyen pour tout : chambres, propreté, cuisine… L’eau chaude annoncée pour notre chambre (bungalow en hauteur, pourtant le mieux dans cet hôtel) n’était pas au rendez-vous, par exemple. Attention enfin à la jeune femme qui gère l’hôtel (la fille du patron ?): elle vous annonce dans le but de vous vendre des trajets en tuk-tuk après l’ascension du pic d’Adam qu’il n’y a plus de bus pour Hatton après 09h30, ce qui est totalement faux ! Ce comportement est inadmissible, et nous aura passablement compliqué le restant de notre journée… Malhonnête et pas cool du tout !!!! En revanche les autres employés se sont montrés beaucoup plus aimables. Nous ne recommandons pas.

Super Ausgangslage zum Adams Peak, sowie zu einem Ausflug zu Wasserfällen und Teeplantagen. Man hat einen super Ausblick von fast jedem Zimmer allerdings muss man dafür viiiiieeeele Stufen hoch, was keinen Spaß macht, nachdem man gerade 5000 Stufen auf den Adams Peak hoch gelaufen ist.

ホテルは何層にもなっているので階段が多い。 スリーパーダに登った後、ホテルに戻って部屋に行くには足が上がらず辛かった。 仮眠するには都合がよく、お湯も出る。 ビールはあるがワインがあると嬉しかった。温かいお茶がセルフで出るともっと良い

欧米豪人多く明るくディスカッションができ楽しい。朝、0:00に出発したが.58歳の運動嫌いのデブちんの私でも4時間で着いた！やはり、登山口にあるホテルなのでとても安心。特に、帰りは、自分のペースでホテルに戻れるのがとても良い。朝食は、玉子焼きとトーストのみ、野菜等は、全く無いが、疲れ果てて帰って来てからの食事なのでOK! アメニティ、ドライヤー等は、全て無し。電源のアダブターは、全ての種類を持って行った方が良い。100m位、階段を登るのは、辛いが、第二のアダムスピークであり、思い出に残る。二コンボを4:00に出て、シーギリヤ、ダップラ壁画、キャンディ、スリーパーダと24時間で登頂できたのも、やはり、立地の良さ。総合評価は大変良かった。親切な対応に感謝！

酒店位于Hotel Galle的对面，出门右转1000米处即是上山的路口，周边商店林立，十分方便。山顶的房间视野极佳，站在阳台上就可以看到亚当峰。酒店员工十分热情，据说下次来就可以电梯直达顶层了

Сам по себе отель может и не плохой, есть горячая вода, правда номера уже старые. Однако нам дали несвежий завтрак и мы отравились очень сильно, 2 дня на Шри Ланке были потеряны

Trevlig personal och bra läge!”
Vi blev trevligt välkomnande av personalen som var duktig på engelska. De fixade god mat till oss i restaurangen. Vi fick låna ficklampor till adams peak vandringen gratis. Bra frukost ingick som var otroligt god efter man kom tillbaka från vandringen där runt 9 tiden. Gratis skjuts tillbaka till tågstationen i Hatton (1h och 15 min med bil).
