pro: beachfront free breakfast quiet and relaxing atmosphere- surrounded by Bermuda grass and coconut trees has sari sari store and restaurant towels looks new and cold ac 2 thumbs up for their very polite and accommodating staffs, thank you! cons dirty beach line, saw some diapers, not their fault since it may have come from waves, but i still cannot afford to swim in their beach, and a lot of sea urchins slow service for restaurant, BUT you can ask them to cook it ahead of time. we dropped by 6pm and asked to have our foods serve at 7.30pm and it was done. bring insect repellant rooms (sigay c) very small, no chairs and cloths hanger, water sometimes not strong and nowhere to put your soaps and shampoos. its one of the cheapest resorts in samal and the staffs compensates all the cons.

Some complains”

The shower was broken. No water from the faucet in the morning. Also, as tourist we did'nt know much about samal island so asked help from the staffs, but one of them kept on telling that she is new so she does'nt know. And one more thing, according to the email info they sent me, they have a pick up service from davao city to samal that costs 100 per person. When we arrive in st. Ana warf, there is no pick up service. Even from samal going back to davao city.

It was a pleasant stay”

We opted for the cheapest room I paid P619.74 it was tiny with e-fan but the view was great which is Davao City lights & I could hear water splashing at night. No towels so we rented only paid P50. The food was great, in fairness. The common comfort room has no lock, used sanitary napkins are tucked in the window sill, toilets are low. I hope this will be improved. I enjoyed watching sunset and sunrise there.

Cheap Beach Resort near the Pier”

The Beach Resort has several cottages with standard accommodation and nice beach view. But no WIFI. Lot's of sea urchin in the water during low-tide. The hotel staff was friendly.

Satisfactory overnight stay”

The resort has spacious swimming and picnic area. I like that there is no loud music after 10:00 PM. They should take more conscious effort to remove garbage from the beach at all times. Food at the restaurant is quite pricey compared to other resorts in the area.

We rested only 5 days. Guided tours, a waterfall, a cave with bats. Enjoyed scuba diving, a very good instructor. A lot of corals not far from the coast, a beautiful place for snorkeling. All very well, very friendly staff, the rooms are clean, bed linen is changed on request. In restaurants, tasty food.

the room is not that big, nor small. its just average and we enjoyed our stay. very clean and relaxing. highly recommend.

best for snorkeling and freediving. waves could get too rough as this is an open channel. ocean debris/carryover when tide is about to go high. friendly staff.

The room is cute and good. Location is also good. Good service from the staff--they are accommodating. Common CR is not that clean. Common CR had a water supply problem.

Disappointing”

I gave 4 star for the staff, for the sake of the nanay who cleaned our fan. The room they gave us with my friend is not the room they showed us when i was asking for the view of the resort way back before i book for the promo room. We were really tired when we got there and we're hungry for sleep so we went there very excited. But then, as some travelers experienced, we're very disappointed when they headed us to the room. It's like a room for chickens/pigs as my friend describes. Not even a single window in a fan room. There are lots of insects as well that bit us to the point that we decided to move out. We asked for water or even a drink in consideration of nonrefundable fee. But they did not even consider that. It's a waste of time and money, really. Be careful with the photos they're going to send you. Even the 2.1k room? It's very dirty and lots of insects "surot". Just a reminder with travelers who's gonna take this promo room. Might as well get the med-expensive ones rather than this. Make your time and money worth.

Pros its best for familiy bonding ..simple yet serene.....its still raw in a way that kids will experience looking at sea creature of all kid..good for family snorkeling.......cons..small space to swim...above all best for simple holiday..
