Perfect Value for Money!”
Writing this review right after we checked out as we are very satisfied with the service we experience with Punta Rosa. The Staff are exceptionally courteous and hospitable. From the requests and the directions we asked, they helped us willingly. The location very quiet and away from the crowd. It sits at the end of Station 1 and also walkable from Diniwid Beach. You just need to charter a e-trike is you want to go to Station 2. (Which costs 100 pesos one way) The room is immensely large for the price that we booked. And the bathroom is almost half the size of the whole room! Only downside is the heater sometimes doesn't work correctly. Also the bidet is not the conventional type. Only negative the we found is the wi-fi signal is spotty and there is no mobile signal in the rooms. Other than that, very value for money! Kudos to Christian and the staff for keeping the resort together even in this trying times. Will definitely book again

Best Hotel for the money in Boracay! Really!”
Got lucky when I found this hotel. It is at the far north end of the beach. A perfect location because you are far from all the noisy tourists. I stayed in the 'Punta Orange' room, which had an awesome view of the beach. This hotel is not exactly "on" the beach, But for all practical purposes it IS ON the beach, if you call about 80 feet far! The room is layed-out very well, it was clean and comfortable. The best part is the upper floor breakfast area. Perfect view. Sure you can stay at The Lind about 200 meters down the beach and pay five times the price, or save a huge amount of money and stay in a much more calm and relaxed hotel. I have stayed in numerous hotels being a professional pilot, and I can say that this hotel is a "find". I recommend it to anyone. Also, Boracay, is a very busy place.. Much better to stay at the end of the island away from the irritating tourists. One suggestion: Provide expanded restaurant hours! You are losing a great opportunity to serve your guests.

Very peasant, accomodating staff.”
Ocated at the end of a short street off the main road, it's quiet, far from crowded place. Quaint. Located near the far end of the main beach but has easy access to the sand and water. Great place to stay.

Hi Sir, You are so rude talking about your sex life in front of my workers. The roads construction has nothing to do with us, its the government's fault. We tried accommodating you, we even gave you a room upgrade for free.
Little boutique gem - best spot on Whitebeach”
punta rosa is a small and charming boutique hotel and is placed on the best and most quiet spot on whitebeach. the spacious rooms are beautiful boutique styled, no luxury, but still very nice, the view from most of the rooms is beatiful. the rooftop breakfast-place is one of a kind, and the view is amazing, which is good - as it takes some time while the cook makes the omelettes for all the guests, one by one. the punta rosa staff is very nice and helpful. it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the station 1 restaurants, however hotels and restaurants are to be found on the closer beach stretch towards station 1. can absolutely recomment punta rosa for all people that want the feeling of beeing on a secluded beach, even though the caos is to be found just around the corner.

Excellent location and great room”
punta rosa is located at the northern part och white beach, a 10 minute walk along the beach from boatstation one and the restaurants. the beach just outside the hotel is much more private and with fewer people than those parts by the different stations. the staff is helpfull and the rooms are clean and well taken care of. the bathroom and shower is huge. the beds are comfortable and the view from the breakfast are on top of a roof is stunning. the hotel is placed just by some of the more expencive resorts at boracay but the price is acually very low. i can and will recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit boracay.

Excellent hotel in a quiet place”
First thing: the hotel is almost on the beach, but technically it's not beach front hotel, they don't have their private strip of the white sand with umbrellas, chairs, beach bar, etc. However it's not a bad thing since you get less establishment and more local feel. But if you need umbrellas and chairs - you can pay few dollars to the nearby hotel and use theirs or any other. Punta Rosa is at the far end of White beach, after boat station 1. Some other reviewers noted that it's too far from d'Mall for walking, but I strongly disagree. It takes about 20-25 walking depending of your tempo it's actually a pretty nice walk on the beach, especially after sunset or early morning. We stayed there one week and we only once took a tricycle. In fact we even walked the entire beach from end to end several times, so don't be afraid of the location. Location is the strongest point of Punta Rosa - the beach at this part is fantastic, the best on the island, it's quite shallow during low tide but again you can swim. And also you are away from the hustle and bustle of Station 2. There is no snorkeling right off the beach, you can go to the next beach (Diwind) but snorkeling is far from anything to talk about. There are good snorkelling spots around the island, but you need to charter a boat. Rooms are spaceous and nice, sleep is comfortable, breakfast is served on the rooftop - fantastic view. Overall a very smart choice for Boracacay.

A very private hotel, nice rooms and showers”
Punta Rosa is located at the far end of Station 1 in Boracay. It's a good location if you want to be away from all the people. You get a lot of privacy in the hotel and even at the beach front. The staff are very helpful and nice. Breakfasts at the deck is beautiful as well. The shower is nice and big. The beds are big too. The only downside is, you will have to take a really long walk to get to the other places in Station 2 or 3. Overall, it's worth the price.

Haven within the Noisy Boracay”
I love my stay at Punta Rosa Hotel. Visiting Boracay for the 3rd time, I wanted to have a serene, quiet lodging to just relax. I made a perfect booking with this hotel. It is located far station 1, away from the busy and noisy areas of Boracay. It may have a long walk to where the dining areas are, but I enjoy the stroll before and after I eat. It is also a plus for me that the room size is big enough, even it's wash room. I will definitely recommend this to those who are seeking peaceful area in Boracay.

Great hotel in a peaceful location”
Our stay at the Punta Rosa hotel was unfortunately spoiled by my wife being struck down with a bug (nothing to do with the hotel) which meant she was bed ridden for the week. However the staff did everything they could to help us out. They arranged visits from the doctor, brought breakfast to the room, cleaned at a time to suit us, arranged takeaways etc. We really couldn't praise the staff enough. The room itself was nice and big, the bed was comfortable, air con worked well and there was a fridge which was a big plus. The hotel is located right at the end of the beach at Boat Station 1 so it is nice and quiet. It's probably a 20 min walk to the main bars and restaurants at Boat Station 2, or a 5 min walk to the highly recommended Diniwid beach.

Relaxing peaceful luxury”
Excellent breakfast daily on the rooftop patio, great staff there and in check-in to assist with various requests. It is just off the beach, but the room had a gorgeous view, and the beach is quieter and less busy than other areas. The staff went out of there way on a birthday to do something special (cake and wine) - were also great at recommending places and activities. Highly recommend if you want a quiet, relaxing trip. Thank you Punta Rosa staff!

A decent hotel with the nicest beach area”
Punta Rosa is located on the end of station 1, which is the most quiet with large piece of powder white beach. Walking to Dmall on the beach is always pleasant. It takes around 10-15 mins, but it is thoroughly enjoyable. The a-la-carte breakfast is great with a view of the beach. The view from the room is nice, despite the fact that the trees in front of it are not very good looking, like they were once damaged by typhoon. The Deluxe Room I got is spacious. But I don't like the bath tube because the bottom is scratched and dented. Looks unclean. I took my shower with my flip-flops on. Guests can borrow towels to guests for their beach activities, which are nice.

Amazing”
Staffs were very friendly, the room was very nice and clean (although we had to kill some mosquitoes), and breakfast at the deck was the highlight of our stay. Staying at the Punta Rosa perfectly complemented our wonderful trip to borax at. We will definitely go back if we have a chance.

Quite nice hotel at reasonable price. ”
Well, Punta Rosa had the greates offer for our stay regarding price/location. We stayed there at the beginning of may 2013. The building is quite old, but the room is big and there was no problems with hot water, internet or airconditioner. The staff is quite frienly. The hotel situated almost at the beach, but you should use the beach of the neighbour hotel and pay 200 peso per day, which is ok, cuz the beach is not overcrowded and you can enjoy swimmimg almost only by yourself.

Beautifully themed rooms”
we stayed at their punta orange room, which had a native touch - similar to a bali inspired theme, very relaxing and very comfortable. the room was very clean and spacious, as well as their bathroom. room was also equipped with an lcd tv, dvd player and wifi connection. however, the hotel was located very far from the nightlife in station 2, had to walk for about 10 minutes to get to most of the bars and restaurants. their location is perfect for couples who would like to relax and unwind. highly recommended for people who would want some quiet time, and swim at the quiet side of the beach. we'd definitely go back and recommend this hotel to others.

Unique hotel”
We stayed in the Punta Cielo suite, which was really nice - spacious, with a balcony overlooking the sea, and a cool outdoor bathroom. The bed was big and comfortable too. We liked their breakfast area, which is at the rooftop of the other building (the rooms are in 2 buildings, and they have no elevators since it is a house-type establishment). We didnt mind the stairclimb because the view is really nice from the cabana. Fresh air, hot coffee, some longsilog, and an excellent view of the beach. We had one issue though, as it was summer when we went to Boracay and the scorching heat was really getting into our nerves. We would have expected the room to be set up prior to our arrival, but they only switched on the AC when we got to there. It took so long to cool the room, we decided to step out as the outside air was actually cooler. When it settled, the AC worked just fine. We just had to leave it running even when we go out, to maintain the temperature. Punta Rosa is at the very end of station1 which means it's far from the happening places. If you like to be in the quieter part of the beach, then this is good for you. They dont have lounge chairs by the beach though, as the property is not exactly beach front (about 2 mins walk).
