      Stunning beach
The 4k beach is absolutely stunning! The hotel arranged free boat pick up from and to the pier which is a bonus. We hired a boat from the hotel to the island across the beach for some snorkelling experience which was fantastic. The hut is very basic- no hot water for shower but that's what you expect for a remote island like this. Breakfast choices were slim but my kids loved their chocolate pancakes. Staff were friendly and lady who runs this place speaks very good English so communication was easy.

Good location, basic bungalows, over priced for what you get.
Basic beach bungalows, with basic service. Expensive for what you get. Resort next door blasted Khmer techno at high volume, the manager of our resort took it up with them when we complained. We were traveling with friends and they woke up one night when someone was trying to break into their bungalow. Restaurant expensive and not so good. Better options down the beach. Good massage. Overall can't recommend. KOH Rong probably used to be an "undiscovered" destination, but not anymore. Getting crowded, overpriced with poor services. There's so many better island destinations in Asia.

Smiley, helpful and considerate staff. Clean private beach. Internet detox not an option
The place feels homey, with friendly English speaking staff. This quiet family business resort is amongst the cleanest we’ve walked on the island. Free pick up from on the main pier can be arranged in advance with the manager. It’s far enough from the village that you won’t be bothered by the party seaking backpackers.

      Bad time
We did not understand this high note the hotel has on Agoda. It is pretty far from the piers and where everything happens, around 35/40 minutes walking. If you want to take a boat it is 15$ per person which is pretty expensive if you are looking to do savings. The rooms are really simple and ours had spiders web in it. Plus it was raining and the rain would drop inside the room. We were so disappointed that we left to a hotel next door!

      Very good
Really enjoy the peaceful clean beach and crystal water. Staffs were friendly and supportive. Perfect place for relaxation with group or whom enjoy alone. But late ferry caused tired waiting time

Not a bad place for relaxation!
I stayed here for 2 nights. The resort / bungalows are located on Long Set Beach (also known as 4K beach). This beach is absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful! This is the main reason I stayed here. I wanted to stay far away from the college like / party backpacker scene as much as possible (Koh Toch Beach). I also want to say that the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! I forgot his name. Now for the things I didn't like... The bungalows were very basic. They are made out of old teak wood and have 1 small fan inside. I understand it's an old "bungalow" on the beach, but for the price I paid I figured it would be a little bit better. The worse part is that I got eaten alive by mosquitos (even with the mosquito net surrounding the bed). I woke up with literally 50+ red marks and welts on my body (not joking). It was painful. If you stay here, I recommend wearing long sleeves and pants (which would be uncomfortable in an already hot fan room). Last thing... I made a BIG mistake when arriving. I walked from Koh Toch pier where the boat drops you off and walked 3-4 km's to get to the resort on 4K Beach. I was extremely exhausted carrying all my luggage. Little did I know that the resort will pick you up for free from the pier, but you must call them ahead of time.

Good but lacked on good hospitality
We booked one of the bungalows for 3 days. The location is quiet and it's like you have your own beach just for you. What let us down was the prices and quality of the food at the resort. We found cheaper/better food around. However you do have to walk 40 min. (One way) or fork out USD 30 (single trip) to go to the nearest town by boat. The owner is kind and caring but the hostess lady kept pulling faces at each request we made. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome there.

      Doesn't worth it !
We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ! BIG JOKE ! The best one is that for an isolated place like that they could be sustainable caring or at least respectifs nature and the site, but the best thing they do is burn all rubbish that is playing out just next to the bungalows... Ugly and disrespectfull for guests ! The price paid for service is really a big joke, the rooms are spartiate and more than basic. It is really deceiving! Water isn't running at any time, they make staff run from one room to the other to switch it on and say no problem continually when you explain the problem. The plumbery is made out of plastic and isn't very clean... We had to shower with a small little dripping water rail... Really not confortable! Electricty isn't secure, wires are hanging out without any protection. Mosquito nets are broken, sealed with sticking plaster and elastics. Overall prices are really expensive for what it is and doesn't worth it! The only good point is the quiet beach to relax on. Juste get a book and read there is nothing else to do there. If you want to get out you will have to pay a 15$ trip per person for taxi boat, that isn't explained before arrival... or walk 45 min to the central pier! Food and drinks prices are more expensive then anywhere else in Cambodia and not for a 5 stars service... For New Year's Eve they didn't plan anything at all, not even a special meal/menu or BBQ on the beach to celebrate. The minimum would have to set a small something for customers who want to est something different or just have fun.
