              Highly recommended place”
This place was really like a paradise! Clean bungalow with ocean view. Resort’s restaurant was really cozy and nice. Food was great and they even did some special requests. The staff was extremely helpful and positive. The resort also organizes some trips but otherwise there is not much to do except to lay on the beach. Minus side was the next resort’s partys, but the music always stoped at midnight so weren’t bothered by it. This beach was all in all peaceful and fairly clean. Some parts were a bit more neglected than others. There was also handful of other restaurant options as well along the beach. If you want to relax and have a peaceful time, this is the place to be!

The bungalow was nice and with new ac! There is only wifi in the main building/restaurant. The food there was awsome! I thought this would be on Touch Beach but its not. You can walk there in 30-30min. You are a bit isolated there, but not in a bad way! Very friendly and helpfull staff!!:)

I have no idea why this resort has such a high score...”
So I booked this resort, in account of it having excellent ratings but it turned out to be a big mistake. Firstly, the water comes out of the taps & toilet flush brown with things floating in it. This wasn't a good sign &, sure enough, I feel sick for 2 days. Only cold shower & fan in my room. The problem I had, was power kept cutting out so then not even a fan. I just don't think it is wise to save a few dollars, here & there, when for a little more you'll get something decent. Oh well, lesson learned...

We stayed another night... highly recommend!”
We were sceptical at first to book two nights due to other reviews we read about Koh Rong island being dirty and full of rubbish in general. We spoke to a lady at the port when booking our boat transfer and she mentioned this part of the beach was nicer so went ahead with one night to start. On arrival we were greeted with clear water and white sand with the hotel on the right next to the pier. 2 min walk away. Huts are pretty basic as expected on an island but that’s part of the experience. Peaceful area and easy to find space and a sun lounger to relax on. Food is reasonable and $1 for a local beer seemed fair. Staff are all super helpful and helped us book our outbound travel when we couldn’t get seats online. We booked another night at the same price pretty last minute and it was all accommodated. As our current room had been booked already they moved our room and upgraded us for the same price! On the last night there was a crazy storm that brought tree leaves and debris all over the beach. The staff at the hotel worked straight away to clear this up and it was clear again by the afternoon. Clearly this section of beach is maintained. Finally, if you are there for some days there are tours, you can enjoy the bar and areas of almost all the other hotels on the strip so there is quite a lot to do if you get bored of the beach easily. Couldn’t recommend enough! David & Sara

              Good getaway”
For pricey Koh Rong this is a good deal. Be aware that the last ferry leaves from Sihanoukville at 4pm so if u miss that u can’t get there. The lady running the desk had the best English we ran into in 2 weeks in Cambodia and it was just right off the jetty on longest beach. The only better location was the longset resort to the left which was pricier and sold out. These places sell out in high season so book if early if u want to go. This is allegedly the best beach for the bioluminescent plankton but u can’t see it in the full moon so book it for a new moon. Breakfast is only American style sadly.dinner menu is good but takes a long time. WiFi was very iffy 2nd blackouts/narrow bandwidth so if u had a family of American kids as we did around, they will hog it all and u can’t get on so make sure u do your internet thing before u get to the island. They were helpful booking returns but ditzy so watch out. We missed our ferry as a result but she got us there by the private boat.

Before you go, check that your ferry goes to the Sunset Beach, from the main beach it is a 1.5km treck through the jungle. When you made this you will find a beautiful and calm place with simple, yet cosy bungalows to forget about stress within 5min.

The resort at the end of the beach. The staffs are unfriendly and talking attitude. The water supply was stopped at night time. The bed sheet and pillow sheet are dirty with a lot of unknown stain. My advice is avoid to stay this resort if you need a wonderful beach experience.

Located just off the pier. Beautiful part of the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beach bungalows reasonably priced. Clean rooms, cold shower and fan but with beach breeze, no need for AC. 45 minute walk possible to Koh Tuch on footpath- half lit and rugged so take torch if coming back in dark. Wi-fi in restaurant but not strong enough to stream. Highly recommend - we’re coming back 👍⭐️

Way Overpriced, not taken care of, trashy”
Pros: Bungalows on a gorgeous white sand beach Slackline New bungalows (backrow) Cons: Hardest bed I've ever slept on Highest prices on the beach for food/drink ($4.50 For smoothie, $9.50 lol lak) and not that good Poorly maintained grounds.. beach chairs broken in a pile (We unstacked two and moved them down the beach ourselves); trash piles behind the bungalows; trash washing up from high tide that sat there till a community clean up came down the beach Tried to sell us a boat ticket for $7 but we walked down the beach and signs every where posted it for $5 Free breakfast was 2 eggs and instant coffee (or pay $2.50 for real coffee at their shop next door) We tried to cancel our second night after arriving but they held us to the non-cancellation policy. There are plenty of better, cheaper, nicer, yummier options down the beach! We really felt disappointed with all aspects of this place, you could tell they just didn't care about it or you. Stay elsewhere for less and get more.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. In particular, the girl in the separate coffee shop. Always had a smile and made great coffee. Breakfast was a bit boring for me. As a vegan, all I could have was the fruit, which was the same every day. Any request for a change meant I had to pay extra. Dinner for vegan diet was limited choice but what I did have, was tasty.

Our bungalow was perfect located in front row to the beach and it was awesome! The staff is really kind and helps you in every situation. The beach is nice too! Localization is ok. Nothing alse. We left at night maybe on 3 minutes our phone and speaker which was playing the music at this moment. When we came back it was nothing. Someone steal it in 3 minutes during the night. We asked a man in the reception maybe they help with it. The man said do not live things outside and that it is very common if it comes with tents... If they have that problem maybe they need security. We have paid a lot for this resort thinking about the quality of it. Disappointing. All resorts with this standard are a lot cheaper then this. Very bad internet in the reception, poor breakfast (included) and expensive restaurant. We eat and drink in Coral resort. Good food, wifi , the same standard of the resort for half price.

The 4k beach is absolutely stunning! The hotel arranged free boat pick up from and to the pier which is a bonus. We hired a boat from the hotel to the island across the beach for some snorkelling experience which was fantastic. The hut is very basic- no hot water for shower but that's what you expect for a remote island like this. Breakfast choices were slim but my kids loved their chocolate pancakes. Staff were friendly and lady who runs this place speaks very good English so communication was easy.

The place feels homey, with friendly English speaking staff. This quiet family business resort is amongst the cleanest we’ve walked on the island. Free pick up from on the main pier can be arranged in advance with the manager. It’s far enough from the village that you won’t be bothered by the party seaking backpackers.

We spent 10 days at the resort and it has to be the best holiday. If your looking for luxury then this isn't the place, the only creature comforts are possibly the little critters from the jungle... All harmless. If you get bored of swimming during the day, try night swimming and you will see the beautiful bioluminescence. Walk either direction along the beach and you can head through the jungle to other beaches and resorts which are a lot more lively. However, we preferred the peace and tranquility of Pura Vita

So as an advise if you are planning to visit this island you should plan your travel accordingly to avoid paying extra for the transportation. This island is a real paradise, it is not crowded and you can truly relax. electricity comes from 6 to 10pm in this resort but who cares? For me, it is a plus because u get to experience being away from everything!

Real island paradise This resort is on the party-side of the island, yet about 25 minutes walk away from the last resort on the party-stretch - which depending on the tide can include a deep river crossing. A small tender boat will transport guests to and from the ferry pier. At Pura Vita the beach is clean, the water turquoise, the views idyllic and very quiet - everything you would expect from an island paradise. There is snorkeling on a small reef about 20 minutes walk along the beach - with interesting coral and fish. A word of warning - leave nothing on the beach when snorkeling. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and the staff and owner are friendly and extremely helpful. The bungalows are well built, clean and comfortable. Electricity is on from 18h00 to 22h00, there is a fan in the room. Water pressure can be low, but is adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as one of the best places to stay on Koh Rong, to enjoy an unspoilt island paradise !
