Puri Air 'Paradise' resort”
Our stay at the Puri Air Resort was fantastic. We stayed for 5 nights in bungalow no.4 (there are 12 bungalows all the same). The bed was comfortable, the rooms were cool due to the aircon/fan and the lumbung traditional style with thatched roofing and high ceiling. The shower/toilet is 'outside' but easy to access. All rooms face on to a generous size 'infinity' pool recently completed with deck chairs to recline on around the pool. Graham and Murni the owners were very friendly and accommodating as were all the staff. The free breakfast was very good as were other meals purchased from the bar/restaurant area. We enjoyed sitting in the little open huts for meals and R&R looking out to your own little beach paradise which is much more private/quiet than on the busy side of the island. The resort has wifi available at the bar, which we actually liked as it meant we used the internet less (being on a island after all!!) and it was more social coming to the bar to use it. There are some good food options nearby (within 10min walk) or 30min to the 'main drag' of the island on the south. Many people hire bicycles, which you can get next door cheaply to get around the island quickly (15-30min ride). We would also recommend getting a massage next door (part of the resort still) which was a great price and very relaxing. Thanks for a fantastic escape to paradise, we will return again!

Cant fault it 10/10!”
Right from the start Puri went out of their way to make us welcome. agoda confirmed our stay but Puri was fullybooked, however they still managed to find room for us, and moved us to our bungalow the next day. The staff are all very friendly and will do anything to help you. The location is stunning, best part of the island away from the harbour traffic. Murni and Graham even went out of their way to organised a driver in lombok for us. Staying at Puri Air has been the highlight of our honey moon! Thanks Murni, Graham, Tin, Amir, Gus and all the rest of the staff for making our stay amazing.....Tip if your going, stay on a friday night there is a great live band from lombok that comes each week. 10/10.

Amazing”
Amazing accomodations. More than reasonable price. It's right on the beach, people come here from the opposite side to watch the amazing sunset you have first hand access to. The pool had the most comfortable water. The people are super nice. I ended up extending twice! Will not only come back, but would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Gili Air.

Awesome stay at Puri Air”
My friend and I had so much fun staying at this hotel. Staff are really kind and so does the owner! They gave us very useful information about the island as that was our first time visiting Gili Air. Also it is just located in front of the beach so you don't need to walk too far to enjoy the sunset.

We had a pleasant stay at puri air. The hotel is located on the quite sunset side of the island, so if you are looking for peace this is the place to go. The bungalows were comfortable and clean. The staff (especially graham the owner) was very helpful and accomadating. Would stay here again.

Nice place missing the finishing details ”
Puri Air is a very nice place with cute little huts. The staff was very friendly. Don't expect luxury anywhere on Gili. The rooms are a bit worn down, with spots on the sheets (even though clean) and curtains. Outside bathroom is nice but also a bit worn down. The hotel area is very nice with a big pool and restaurant on the beach. Breakfast is simple but fine. I would stay here again. A lot of mosquitoes by the huts so bring repellent.

Paradise”
We booked Puri Air from other travellers reviews and we weren't disappointed. The location is the best on the island with the perfect sunset spot and a good variety of local food options. The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable - we had no problems. As per everywhere on the gillis (we went to all three), the internet / wifi is a little unreliable and things move slowly. I suggest that by taking it for what it is - a tropical island - and going with the flow and you will have an amazing relaxing time here. I will undoubtedly return on my next visit to Indonesia.

Lovely staff, chilled place and amazing sunsets ”
The staff here are so friendly and accomodating. They looked after us so well. The rooms are comfortable with an outside bathroom. There’s a lovely pool and restaurant with fantastic food and cocktails and views of the stunning sunset. All in all I loved this place and would definitely recommend it. Great value for money. Bear in mind this isn’t a 5* resort which is why it’s not priced as one. There’s also a lot of cockerels on the island which can be noisy through the night so bring ear plugs

The sunsets were beautiful. The pool refreshing and a luxury on the island. Cocktails (buy 2 get 1 free) were great. One of the owners, Graham, was very helpful and went the extra mile when I injured my foot snorkeling. Considering the quality of the food available, elsewhere on the island, Puri was very average. Overall we would go back there again; a great place to stay!

Like staying on a tropical island!”
A very nice resort style bungalow amids a wonderfull tropical island enviroment. Beautifull pool and beach area, and everybody was at the ready to help out when needed. As with most locations in indonesia, the moisture takes it toll here as well on some parts of the outdoor bathroom, but for us this is part of the charm and we loved every moment of our stay! New, comfortable and very relaxed”
We spent 3 nights here and had a lovely, relaxing time. The rooms are new, clean, and modern with everything you need including a sleek bathroom which is outdoors. We saw no mosquitoes or bugs, and after walking out to the reef right in front of the hotel we saw turtles swimming! Bring rubber shoes for walking on the coral, and earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the walls are quite thin. The bar serves delicious fresh fruit juice, although the staff can be a little slow... remember this is island life! A great place to sunbathe all day and watch the sunset from a bamboo day bed, and walking distance from lots of other bars and restaurants. Pretty much everything is closed by 10pm so perfect for a relaxing time.

The rooms were fine and beds comfortable. The pool is lovely and also the hotel is directly on the beach with decent sunset view. The staff are lovely! Only suggestions are the rooms should have complimentary water (everywhere does these days) and also they should offer more regular room cleaning.

Didn't even get greeted upon arrival”
There is no reception or check in just the bar staff take you to your room and that's the last you see of ANY staff. Even at checkout you just hand your key to the bar and leave without a word!! Room was VERY basic with no mosquito net over bed and gaps between doors mean you need nets.Power outages only seemed to affect this place and TV only works at night (in between power outages) which seems suspiciously like a money saving trick. Person who appeared to be owner just sat in bar no help at all. Rooms poorly maintained and you get 1 single sheet for a double bed with no quilt or other sheets. Shower is cold or scalding hot. Breakfast was dire and took 20 mins for burnt scrambled eggs on toast. You couldn't complain as staff were invisible and bar staff spoke almost no English. The beach is small and is all seaweed for most of the day. It was the worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time.time it's only saving grace is the pool which was great...we were so glad to escape after only 1 night...gili air is also really is very unimpressive compared to lombok or Bali and the boats there are an experience to be avoided too....

Choose another hotel”
Staff we friendly but lazy, we had our room cleaned once in five days and only because we specifically asked for it. We got a new set of towels on the last day, only because we asked for a change. The tap water was incredibly salty, other establishments were fine. Power cut on night two left me searching for a sleeping reception who didn't speak english. Upon check in they told us a room number, didn't show us to our room, or go through its facilities. Breakfast was very basic but tasted ok. you pay for drinking water. The pool was ok, it advertises a pool bar but this wasn't running. Nice firm bed, but stained sheets. Bathroom was revolting and had a sewage smell. We would have changed hotels but had prepaid/ could't get through to agoda on the phone and had no email to write to, and our budget would allow a double booking, Puri Air needs to really up their game.

It was just ok. I would choose another hotel for the next stay. Breakfast included means for Puri Air hotel to choose one item from the menue f.ex. a little pankcake. I was still hungry after the breakfast. TV in room = Our TV was not working an the staff said it won´t be fixed.

This is no Resort”
This was oversold as a resort, it is not a resort. It was like staying at Faulty Towers. We were pointed to our room; the room key was lost; the safe wouldn't work, then it would, but not the whole pin pad; the food was inedible - when there was someone in the kitchen; the beers were warm; the wi-fi hardly ever worked; staff were petulant; someone also kept folding my dirty underwear and 'tidying' my things away, not to be found for a couple of days. This is a nice family spot away from everything, the rooms were relatively clean, the bed was brilliant, the view is spectacular. BUT this is no resort, it is a comedy of errors that is well over priced.
