Value for Money”
Puri Bambu hotel is a good choice for travelers who are on budget but wants tohave good service. This is just a 3-star hotel but it's staff can speak good english, the room is big, the pool & the garden is very nice-clean & well maintained. It is also very near the airport. It is also near famous tourist destinations like Kuta and Nusa Dua. Being close to Jimbaran beach is also a plus because of the seafoods restaurant. The price of massage is very affordable. Buffet breakfast is also good. The change some of the food choices so there's variety. It's also nice that there's a bar near the pool. All in all, we had a very nice stay in Puri bambu. We look forward to stay there again on our next visit in Bali.

An Awesome Bail Experience”
We stayed at Legian Beach for 4 nights before coming to Puri Bambu for another 4 days. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is definately great value for money, its a fairly big and very well maintained. The standard room was very spacious and modern with a very clean bathroom and lots of space in the room for bags ect. The tv was big enough and clear. They provide amenites like shampoo and toothbrushes and the rooms have a private outside terrace area and a large room service menu. The pool is large with many tanning chairs and a sunken pool bar and the massage room is off the pool area but very private so very nice - an hour long massage is only 50000 rupiah. the breakfast is served upstairs in the restuarant and changes every day and is really good with a selection of cereals, fruits, juices tea coffee and hot breakfast (either bacon or sausage and eggs done however you choose) and also asian options. the internet in the business centre is fast and computers are quite new. The best thing about the hotel is the rooms - you wont get that sort of standard for that price in the Kuta Legian strip. The hotel although quite full is quiet for the most part so if you want more a party scene then this isnt the right place, its more for relaxing and spending time with the people you are with. Even when the pool is quite full it is more relaxed and quiet. Also the pool gets cold and there is a lot of shade in the afternoons so not great if you want to tan all day. But the beach is only a couple minutes walk so you can always soak up the sun on the beach. There also isnt a lot going on in Jimbaran in terms of restuarants and shopping, theres only really the strip of seafood restuarants along the beach. The hotel food is really nice tho and not badly priced at all.

Nice hotel in great location”
overall, we really enjoyed our stay in puri bambu hotel. we chose this hotel because it is very close to airport, and our flight arrives very late in the night, and the return flight departs very early in the morning. such a convenient location is really a plus. from the hotel, you can easily walk to the jimbaran beach within 10 minutes, though the alley is a bit dark during night time. it has a nice but small swimming pool. the room is quite spacious. service is really good. we noticed that there are multiple types of rooms available in the hotel, including some really nice villa-style rooms. if you walk towards the opposite direction of beach, you will reach a street within 10mins. you can find many local stores & food stalls there, even during late night. we tried the fried chicken in one store, very nice.

Puri Bambu - Pure Value”
I have visited Bali about 20 times and I rate my recent stay at the Puri Bambu Hotel at Jimbaran Bay as the best value I have experienced in Indonesia. My stay was perfect from check-in to check-out with a very professional and friendly staff happy to acceed to my every request. My room was spotless and well-cleaned every day. It's a family hotel run by a young and dynamic female manager and is to be highly recommended.

Nice stat at Puri Bambu”
Just had a pleasant stay at the Puri Bambu. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, so do not expect that. For the very reasonable price paid, got a clean room with bath tub and good american breakfast. The restaurant for breakfast was quite pleasant, overseeing the pool. I was staying with my wife and baby girl and we all enjoyed the stay. The poolside massage is a very reasonable 50,000 Rp/h. Only thing is that it is not at the beach, and like mentioned in other reviews, the street to the beach is one way and with no pavement, a little dangerous to walk with all the traffic. Also get a little dark at night. One thing interesting is that I booked for a standard room but the hotel offered to upgrade me to a superior. however, I declined the offer as the superior does not have bath tub while the standard has. In any case, the standard room is pretty ok, clean and comfortable. I stayed at the Puri Bambu for 2 nights where we use the hotel as base for sightseeing in Bali before moving on to 5 star Nikko Bali to enjoy a beach side resort.

Big rooms, nice pool, friendly stuff”
Puri Bambu was our favourite hotel we stayed at in Bali. The room we had was huge! There is a really nice pool with a swim up bar and food is always available with room service an option. The hotel is within walking distance to Jimbaran bay and even though you can't walk to Kuta there are free shuttle buses provieded which pick you up as well. The only downsides were, you had to pay for the internet and Jimbaran as a place itself is quite dull (with the exception of the seafood resteraunts at the beach). There are no bars or shops in the immediate Jimbaran area.

Our Honeymoon Trip ”
We went to Bali on 15-19 December 2009 for our honeymoon. When we check in, we were surprised that the hotel upgrade our room free of charge (we booked for standard room and they upgrade it to superior room) Our room and it's bathroom were very clean, and we enjoyed buffet breakfast every morning. The food is good. Hotel staffs also very helpful. We were enjoying our stay at Puri Bambu, and someday If we go to Bali, we will stay in this hotel again.

The Seafood Special!”
The Puri Bumbu is a very nice hotel for people who are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and in particular for those who appreciate their seafood. The hotel is very clean, quiete and relaxed and the rooms are massive (the biggest room we stayed in during our month in Bali!). The proximity to Jimbaran bay is a big plus as you can lounge around by the pool at the resort for the day and then catch a taxi down to the bay for a cheap seafood feast! The only downside of the hotel is that the area around it is quite dirty and the road directly in front of the resort which leads to the bay is very narrow and we didn't feel safe walking along it at night so we ordered transport whenever we needed to travel anywhere. All in all, this is a very good value hotel for a few nights of accomodation but I wouldn't recommend spending your entire holiday here as you won't experience everything else that Bali has to offer!

Saving grace after escaping from Kuta chaos”
We hastily escaped from Kuta after one night and wanted something quiet and serene. Puri Bambu had good reviews on all traveler sites so we booked and it was the smartest thing we could have done. Hotel staff are accommodating (the concierge booked our car to Ubud and got us a great deal). Food was delicious (try the satay),

Value for money accommodation ”
we only spent 1 night at the puri bambu but wish we had stayed more. we had a standard room and it was more than adequate. the staff are all lovely, the restaurant food was great & the included buffet breakfast was good. this was the best value for money accommodation we stayed in while at bali. the seafood restaurants are just at the end of the road. if you take a 5 minute walk you can reach the local fish markets which are a real eye opener. this is not a 5 star resort but we really enjoyed it.

March-April 2010 Puri Bambu”
we loved this hotel it was great, we were upgraded to a bungalow, just cannot fault it, staff, rooms, pool etc, all great and would defininitely recommend. only problem is that there is nothing but fish restaurants to eat at and whilst that it great, you want something different. no other choices close by. spent most of our money on taxi rides to other locations, even for the beach as the beach nearby was very dirty and too rough to swim in, maybe it is better in the summer season. if you want value for money with first class service then puri bambu is for you, and only 10 mins from the airport but you would never know it. also very quiet.

Great Stay at Puri Bambu!”
We found the staff at the Puri Bambu extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent. The breakfast room made eating breakfast even more enjoyable; a beautiful piece of architecture. The beach was just a short walk away from the hotel and along the beach was a traditional fishing village where you could watch fishermen bringing in their load of tuna. The restaurants, although a little expensive, provide a beautiful setting for an evening meal. All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

Exceptional”
I stayed at Puri Bambu the night before heading home and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are large and the bed is firm and very comfortable. The atmosphere was calm with a Balinese touch; the perfect place to chill for a few hours by the pool and enjoy a good & cheap massage. It is very close to the airport and the hotel can arrange affordable transport accordingly. A special thanks to Ketut!

Authentical Bali Hotel in Jimbaran”
We stayed at Puri Bambu as 1 night stay on our way back from the Gili islands as we were leaving next day to Thailand. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the lovely staff, and amenities ( although we didn't take advantage but the pool was great ). Good proximity to Jimbaran beach and to the airport and relatively easy to go and from by foot or scooter. The breakfast was also great and setting is a beautiful and authentic balinese! Would definitely stay here again and for longer duration.

Traditional Balinese hotel,with nice gardens ”
This was our first time at the Puri Bambu and it won't be the last. The bedrooms are quite large and we had a balcony overlooking the Large swimming pool, the breakfast was super and the staff very courteous And helpfull. The gardens and the layout of the place is very pleasant for those Of us who just want to chill out

the puri bambu hotel was lovely! very large clean room with balcony overlooking the big pool. the staff were helpful and friendy. the breakfast was very nice and plentiful. the location was central - a five minute walk to jimbaran beach or a five minute walk to the main road shops. i would recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay”
I really liked my stay here at Puri Bambu. Apart from the top 3, here's some more: big rooms; very friendly stuff; very nice and well kept location. Only drawback was not having wifi in the room and even at the spots where you are supposed to have wlan, the signal was sometimes very poor.
