Does Not Live Up The Expectation”
I went here because of many good reviews from travel bloggers. When I arrive, the place is exactly like the pictures, it looks nice and calm. The hostel staffs are friendly and they do provide free yoga class in the morning and free massage in the afternoon. The bed is also big, bigger than what is normally provided at hostels, however it is also hard and not really comfortable to sleep on, as I feel as if sleeping on wood. They do provide 2 pillows, which is a plus. The breakfast is also nicely served. Many reviews said this a social hostel which is good to find new friends. I stayed here for 3 nights and didn't really make new friends. I did make some new friends in Ubud, but I met them all outside of this hostels. The pool area is really a nice place to hang out, however everyone sticks to everyone they already know. Internet is also poor at the dorm room. So, I may not come back. I consider this as a good hostel, but overrated and a bit overpriced.
Amazing hostel and people”
This is an amazing place to stay, even though when booking I thought it was expensive, when I experienced every they offer I believe now is well priced. They have a free yoga class every morning, every night either movie or BBQ night make it worth it. Rooms are very comfy, with big beds and also big lockers (were able to fit my 2 bags), showers and comfort rooms are nice and clean and breakfast is "a la carte". Recommend it 100% if you want to chill while being in Ubud.
We booked 2 nights at this hotel, (wished i'd stayed longer), nice small boutique hotel with amazing pool connected to its restaurant. Attention & details were given to hotel architecture & surroundings, locking this litle gem its real beauty and charm. Would definately come back...!!
Comfort in the heart of town”
Very easy to get in and out. There's a bike rental shop right across the street if you don't want to hire a taxi for short trips. Breakfast was just so-so, but the restaurant is open all day if you get hungry, and many many other eating places a few steps away. Best feature is the location. Easy walk to Monkey Forest, Yoga Barn, a.. and kinds of shopping. Only down side is poor street conditions. Sidewalk is impassable and traffic is crowded. Be careful.
Cozy and ambience hotel”
We reached the hotel at night. At the first moment, we were shocked because there was nobody in the lobby. The security guard helped us to check in to hotel. The room is clean and nice. But the shower water in the bathroom is too small. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Just a few minutes of walking distance to Pizza Bagus, Bebek bengil (dirty duck), Monkey forest. Worth for money.
Great Deal in Ubud busy area”
We were happy to arrive at this charming little hotel well located near the center of Ubud. The room was small but nice and clean. The restaurant was well maintained and the breakfast was great. The only downside was the swimming pool that was quite blurry. But our overall experience as been great and we would recommend the hotel.
Beautiful small boutique hotel and friendly staff.”
stayed for 2 night. arrived late in the evening but still the reception welcomed us nicely. Room was small but beautiful with regular hotel amenities. Bathroom stained and need a good scrubbing.Water not drained properly.otherwise it will be perfect! Hotel's garden is beautiful and amazingly doesnt feel crowded as frankly speaking, this hotel wasnt big at all. you will got a beautiful paddy field view if u book the room located at the back of the hotel. 15 min walking distance to Ubud's attractions. definitely will stay at this hotel again (if they scrub and fix bathroom problem)
Great location, nice room, need renovation”
One of our room's aircond leaking water during our first night stay, after contact with the staff, they did some maintenance when we were out, and the problem is solved. Very helpful and polite staff. Cons: The bed is quite old and making noise, probably need some maintenance on that, but overall is satisfied
Surprisingly quiet for such a central location”
Pool was small, but I had the pool to myself much of the time. Even went for a night swim! Friendly staff, nice rooms, beautiful gardens. Only problem was the electricity kept shutting off briefly (not sure if hotel specific, or due to wider grid blackouts) which would shut off the air con.
The staffs are friendly and the hostel is clean. It takes about 20 -30 min walk to Ubud Central but there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, ini mart around the area. Breakfast is made to order and the food is good. Pool is great and I love that they have free yoga and activities every day.
Good value for backpackers without a doubt but very expensive for the couple rooms”
We came for the foster puppies but shouldn’t have booked a room as well. For the amount we spent I’ve stayed in much nicer places in Ubud for much less. And the breakfast that was included was dismal.
This place has an unmatched charm to it! Very social and comfortable! ”
We had a great time! Loved all the decor and the rooms we’re very comfortable! It’s my second time staying there and I would happily stay again!
Best Hostel in Ubud”
Probably the best hostel I have been. Very nice and friendly staff, dorm and beds were really comfy and all facilities were clean. Easy to get in contact with people, nice pool area, barbecue night... if you wanna stay in Ubud, go there!!
Highly recommended who those staying in ubud”
Great value of money, location wise, rooms & toilets were very clean, friendly staff, various options for breakfast that you can choose & I love the vibes here that you are able to make a lot new friends here
Pros: clean, secure, amazing free breakfast options (banana pancakes were delicious), cafe menu and food was good & reasonable, beds comfy and larger than usual hostels Cons: very small area to lay by the pool, mount nature trekking tour booked through the hotel but we did not do all that was advertised (no coffee plantation after trek)
Super nice but not very sustainable (yet) :)”
This is a beautiful & comfortable place. The facilities are really well kept and the beds great. The staff is super nice and takes very well care of everything. The only thing: They really have to work on sustainability to preserve this paradise! A small plastic bottle for every guest every morning - imagine the mountain of plastic every week!! Instead water refillers and bottles should be provides (which you return at the end with towles etc.). Also, every room has per default a switched on aircon plus fans every evening - aircon is sufficient in my view. The guests can turn on fans if needed by themselves. Hope to see some changes in this regard <3!
Puri Garden is beautiful, with great breakfast, a lovely pool and friendly staff. I had an incredible time staying here, but cannot recommend it in good conscience as they had bed bugs in several beds. Hopefully they have taken care of the issue responsibly.
really nice and pretty place but felt more hotel than hostel. Still good atmosphere and got to know people. PS don't use their flight transfer they will say it's 600000 rph but you can get it for 250000 instead. Laundry you pay piece by piece so it's better if you go across the street! it was a nice place otherwise with free bottle of water and clean bed every day
The best! Extended several times.”
Free Yoga, great beakfast, pool, nice rooms and bathroom, lovely staff!!! Close to the Yoga Barn and walking distance to a lot of things. The management has changed in June 2016 and they are currently doing a lot of renovation to the place but the dorms were fantastic and the double rooms I peaked into looked gret, too. Extended my stay and would have loved to stay on!
Absolutely amazing!! Brand new hotel/hostel with amazing staff!!! Extremely clean rooms, washrooms, showed and an amazing pool!! Free breakfast is also good along with the Cafe attached to the hotel/hostel! Hands down the best place I've ever stayed with a very welcoming and positive atmosphere!! I kept extending my stay 😁
