        Location Location location”
Location Is great . It is a 15 min walk to the monkey Forest , a 5 min walk to the WIld Duck, and a 30 min walk to the Traditional market and Ubud Palace. Despite being the busiest part of Ubud, the place offers some peace and quiet . The rooms are a bit old and outdated but if you're out most of the time shopping and going places you wouldn't mind. The area is generally relaxing. It's a 2floor cottage with 4 units each. Pool is not so much remarkable . The only meal offered is breakfast which is also not remarkable. But since you're surrounded with a number of great places to eat it's relatively ok. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Very unexpected! We only stayed for one impromptu night, but it was beautiful and clean. Great location (yoga barn is right behind it, and it's close to a supermarket and Monkey Forest). The staff was super friendly - the manager even offered to drive us to a nightclub near by when we asked for directions. The only downfall was the shower - the shower head sprayed in all directions so that made it difficult to shower.

        Lovely Hotel Great Location”
Puri Padi is in a great location close to shops, cafes, Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest yet is very quiet & peaceful. Lovely gardens, 2 swimming pools, large rooms with bath, fridge, tv, jug, wifi, comfy large beds & enclosed patio. Would highly recommend this hotel.

        Passable but tired ”
The location is excellent in heart of Ubud. The breakfast is standard and satisfactory could be fresher and hotter. The scrambled egg is better than most who over over cook it. The ambiance is fine at a distance but close up furnishings especially in the public areas are cheap tired and dated. Given the location layout and architecture are all very good the missing element is updating the furnishings with a view for design and details in a market as competitive as Ubud you have to keep up. The place needs investment and to do more than the minimum in terms of food and cleanliness. Like many places in Bali the appearance of order is a substitute for actual cleaning - old greying sheets are reused towels are fraying. Cleaning surfaces consists of a broom and damp cloth which is why there are always stains in the bathroom and the floors always have a film. But to be fair this is 80% of hotels in Ubud it's cultural I'm afraid. At the right price however you accept this depending on your needs and expectations if you haven't travelled much and this is your first time to Bali it's a reasonable place to start.

Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is in a good location, it needs a little update and care. The pool is very pleasant and overall my stay was very good.

        Pleasant stay”
        Location, pool, breakfast
Our stay was good. They were great about negotiating a longer stay. Things could be a bit cleaner but it's not so dirty as to be gross. The mosquito nets have some stains on them, occasional stain on the sheets, cockroach on the porch, and the pool could use a scrubbing to get the moss off. And the walls are pretty thin but this was only a problem one morning when my neighbors got super chatty at 6am. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Bed is comfortable. A/C works well.

        Ubud holiday 2015”
Locattion is excellent. Desk staff very helpfull and very friendly. Would go out of the way to help.
We loved our stay because of hotel location and helpfulness off deskstaff. Hotel however has been rundown and needs serious upgrading. Does not have tea or coffee making facilities or phone in the room. We have been to Ubud several times but will not go again due to the village seriously rundown condition as well. Footpaths and roads are in a terrible state. If you don't watch where you walk you could seriously injure yourself by falling in large holes in footpaths with filthy water running underneath. Heavy traffic pollution makes it also uncomfortable to stroll along monkey forest road or jl. hanoman.
