Good location for a one night stay”
The reviews we read before booking were spot on. Perfcet location if you're staying one night before heading over to Gili. Tidy but dated rooms. No hot water in our room. Very pushy manager who sits down with you for your welcome drink and tries to sell you boat tickets for a ludicrous price. He came in at $1.3m IDR, we ended up paying him $900k return. This was okay, but I would suggest asking your driver to stop at some ticket offices in Padang Bai before you arrive. You'll see they all advertise for $800k. We would stay here again based on location and acceptable cleanliness, just be prepared to negotiate those ticket prices down.

Quiet, clean, classy appeal with some improvement needed to be great”
PROS: Location is good, helpful staff (may be too much, more on this). Very spacious with nice decor, 3 clean pools. Cons: NO hot water to shower after later at night may be past 8pm. Some staff quite pushy and persistent to sell you in room massage which is a little more on expensive side. It was a nuisance after awhile

Nice quaint design resort”
The resort has 3 pools and are nice to spend quiet time in and around the pool. The resort also preserve some tradition design which makes the place attractive. I wish the breakfast spread have more variety though.

Better wifi if not in rooms at least in reception would suffice this basic motel. Nice pools for sun bathing. Great dive shop connected to the hotel.

Out of order wifi in room, short list by breakfast, angry personal you want to pay your for the money for ticket to Gili. Unchanged ours towels, not filled new water. Poorly running shower. Pozitive: big balcony, air conditioning, amazing garden.

Location was as good as it was promised. Cockroachs and untidy blankets in the bed were not so nice. Blankets was also without sheets. Wifi was working unstable. Breakfast was poor. Staff was nice and helpfull. Okay place to do one night stop if you are not expecting anything special.

Very nice location by the beach. Close to the dive center. It's a little bit old but very well maintained. Clean. Close to nice restaurants. They have three pool which we did not get to use, as we had other activities.

2 Pools, convienent location, cold AC, hot water, comfortable beds. This place ticked all the boxes for a nice 5 night stay. They even throw in a simple breakfast to get you started

We loved our stay here. , we were only here for 1 night but will stay for longer next time. Huge room and really great service. Food was great in the restaurant. 3 pools to swim in, hot water, tv, big clean beds...amazing value for money!

Great Hotel but a few Issues”
Number one issue is with the small older man at reception - he is rude and should not be working with paying customers. Basically said he does not accept Agoda bookings, and when I queried this with him showing my booking reference he refused to listen and told us to go and stay elsewhere. A very nasty little man. The rest of the staff were wonderful. The hotel itself is nice. Lovely grounds and 3 beautiful pools. Large rooms, which are pretty dark and are now showing some signs of wear - no toiletries or water left in the room which is unusual in Bali for this type of hotel. Room had a/c, a fridge and a tv, which didn’t work well and could not be retuned. Breakfast was just ok - practically no choice and preprepared food which was lukewarm or cold. Staff, except rude old man on reception, grounds and swimming pools are great

Needs refurbishment + needs other manager”
Especially the bathroom needs updating. Very old fashioned. No warm water. Bathroom was full of ants but was able to wash them away; however staff could have checked in advance. Think when this hotel was first opened all would have looked nice. Nice setting or the several swimming pools. The statue with horses has all painted white now, very awfully done. Biggest issue was the manager at checkout. He said that the rate was higher and we needed to pay 10% extra, and on top 3% credit card charges. When we said his colleague confirmed our price at checkin which was lower, he said his staff is stupid. There was no sorry whatsoever. When we mentioned we would leave negative feedback he said he doesn’t care. So we advice this hotel needs a new manager! The breakfast was quite simple too. And then this was not a cheap hotel....

Gute Hotel in Hafenlage mit wenig motiviertem Personal”
Da wir das Hotel im Zeitraum der Off-Season besucht haben, bitte ich meine Eindrücke unter Vorbehalt zu berücksichtigen! Dennoch finde ich es wichtig diese mitzuteilen. Es ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar wie man an einem der schönsten Strände der Insel einen Hafen errichten konnte, dies sei nur nebenbei aber dennoch als relevanter Fakt erwähnt...außer am Secret Beach um die Ecke gibt es generell keine Bademöglickeit-dafür viele auf andere Inseln zu flüchten Das Hotelpersonal war dezent demotiviert, sei es die Zimmerreinigung betreffend bzw. die Aufrechterhaltung der Internetverbindung! Hauptaugenmerk lag auf dem Verkauf von überteuerten Touren oder Transporten was fast schon an Belästigung grenzte-sehr unschön gerade wenn man vorher in Hotels war die verstanden haben wie man Gäste behandelt. Auch der Pool war komplett angedeckt und konnte nicht genutzt werden. Fazit: Gegend und Hotel sind nicht zu empfehlen!
