Enough to be satisfied in Banteay Meanchey”
As there are not many option in the town, this hotel can be my 1st or 2nd choices on my business trip to Banteay Meanchey. Location is a little bit inconvenient if you want to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. The local restaurants around hotel is a bit difficult to communicate in English, but if you have basic knowledge of Khmer language, I think it doesn't matter to you.

Saving grace is the fantastic roasted duck stall right opposite the hotel.

Avoid this hotel”
After a pleasant stay 2 years ago I was keen to revisit. Returning was a mistake. It took 36 hours to connect to their wifi despite the best efforts of a staff member. Their wifi is configured incorrectly. Breakfast is disgusting. Pre cooked dishes are not kept warm and when we asked for the coffee to be heated the staff member poured our partly drunk cups back into the carafe for all guests to share. Gasp. Gasp We had to pay extra to avoid having a Superiot room with air conditioning blasting onto our bed. Not wanting to be completely negative I should add that there was a plenty of hot water. To summarise. Keep clear of this place unless you are a masochist

Best in Sisophon”
Comfortable, Clean and Courteous
Stayed here many times, best hotel in town. Breakfast is good but dinner not so exciting. Better to eat out. Many food outlets nearby. But overall hotel is good value.

Plumbing problems ruin a great location”
Quiet, good location, excellent restaurant
I would not recommend this hotel as there were two serious problems with the plumbing. First, there was an overwhelming sewer smell in the room that emanated from the bathroom drain. Closing the door to the bathroom at all times mitigated it somewhat, but it was difficult to fall asleep with the cloying smell. Second, there was no hot water--just a very tepid lukewarm, even when the tap was left on for several minutes. A handful of other maintenance problems also were apparent--for instance, the elevator was out of service all morning, and the bathroom itself was a bit on the dingy side. The only redeeming features are the great restaurant on the top floor, the fast wi-fi, and the relatively quiet rooms despite the central location. If this hotel can fix its serious plumbing problems I might...just might...be tempted to give it a try again. If not, I'll still stop by for a meal.

Good stay, well run hotel in a quiet location”
Central location, interesting restaurants nearby, good hotel breakfast and lunch restaurant
I had a pleasant stat at the Pyramid, using it as my base for visiting Banteay Chma which is about 60 km north on a road which is currently being rebuilt. The hotel is well run. My room was freshly decorated and everything worked. The only negative thing is the grubby carpet on the stairs and in the halls. Apart from that minor quibble I would not hesitate to stay again.

Value for money in interesting town”
The room was large and clean and the hotel has a spa attached.
I only stayed one night and it was comfortable and clean. The room had air on and a hot shower. There was building work going on at the hotel at the time but it wasn't an issue as they limited the work to 9-11 and 2-5 mostly when I wasn't in the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel but many nearby including a great Khmer BBQ across the road to the right. The hotel does have a spa attached however that includes a sauna and steam room at very good rates. I think a lot of western travellers bypass this town as it is a crossroads but it is a great little stop. It has a great market, some good food at extremely reasonable prices and the locals are very friendly! The Pyramid is a great place to stopover if you are going to visit Sisaphon.

Wonderful hotel”
Room, price, staff
Great hotel - very high standards for such a small town. Very comfortable room, well decorated, amazingly comfortable chairs! Nice bed. Fastest internet we've had in Cambodia. Many TV channels. Great communal balcony view over the city. Walking distance to everything we needed, lots of local restaurants as well as the market. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly, and helped us to arrange transport to Siem Reap. The General Manager, Mr Monoreach, was particularly great, going out of his way to help us with everything he could, including some business translation. Excellent English skills, very professional, and a very nice man. We didn't get a chance to try the spa, but have heard good things. Thank you PYRAMID HOTEL, and staff.
