Nice hotel overlooking the Nile”
Located in the middle of the Nile in Aswan, this hotel is perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and surrounding of the famous river. With free shuttle boat to the docking in Aswan city center which is only 10 minutes away, it’s very easy for the guest to go back and forth to the city. Perfect location. The only cons is the wifi, it’s not working on the little hut area where our room was. But the view is superb.

Mixed feelings”
We were very disappointed with our room at the Pyramisa. There were several things broken, the bed was more hammock than a firm surface and it was generally dirty and run down. The amenities were deceptive as common areas were not as ramshackle but still needed some attention. The saving grace was we spoke with the tourism Manager Karlos who efficiently moved us to a renovated room which was a significant improvement and saved the stay from being disappointing. That said, the poor condition lead me to cancel my booking at the Pyramisa in Luxor. I must give a shout out to staff at the hotel who were incredibly accommodating despite the conditions.

Booking was denied by hotel”
Arrived at hotel at 1am. Booking was denied even though I had booking confirmation slip which confirmed payment for 3 nights.We were made to wait until 2am before they agreed to give us a room on the understanding that we paid again the following day. A room with two single beds when It was our wedding anniversary trip! The following day, the booking miraculously appeared on their computer system. The reception staff were very unfriendly to the point of accusing us of having a fraudulent booking. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice island getaway”
A stay on the island is extremely nice and the shuttle between piers is regular. Room is spacious but wifi is very slow and weak. Breakfast and dinner were quite bad and repetitive.

Outdated room but great location ”
I’m rating this place based on their 5 star ranking. Reception staff 5 stars Restaurant 3 stars with poor collection Facilitates 2 stars with one pool without heater in winter. Rooms 1 star as they are very outdated without Wi-Fi. It’s like a motel room with mosquitoes killed marks all over the walls Location 5 stars, The view from the island is beautiful Dinner price was reasonable around $12 per personal open buffet not including drinks. But still the selection was poor for a 5 stars ranked hotel. If this was a 3 stars hotel, I would have given them better ratings. But this is no way to be a 5 stars hotel. Over all it was an okay stay and we enjoyed the Nile view so much.

The property is beautiful looking from outside. It’s on an island, so you have to take a ferry to get there. Fairies are available readily, no problems with that. However, the rooms are very dated. Bathrooms need major renovation. The Wi-Fi does not work. The phones don’t work in the rooms to call for room service, housekeeping, or to even call at the front desk. I needed an iron and towels, so I had to literally go down myself and ask for it as the phones don’t work. Buffet food was not up to the mark as well. Beds in the room are very old, no fitted sheets and the sheets keep slipping off and it was like you’re basically sleeping on a mattress. Overall, beautiful looking property but need major renovation!!!

Pyramisa/Isis Island”
I had an interesting stay here. First the positive: the experience has been different in that you need to sail to the island. The boat is nice and it's actually a pleasant view both day and night. Staff members at the concierge, restaurant, and guest relations are kind and thoughtful. The included breakfast is fantastic. Now the issues: our first room was dirty and looked nothing like the advertised photos. The second room was significantly better but the toilet was used. For a place that boasts their five star rating you think it would be better. The downstairs is very busy all the time and they don't have enough staff, not only to speak to but also to give you information. None of the other staff speak english. Only one elevator was working.

The hotel, staff, food, cleanliness and location were fine. Not 5 star but more like 4. A serious update is needed. Doors are thin, small leaks, scuffs and the like are evident everywhere.

The property is beautiful from outside. It’s located on a island. Ferries are available frequently and we didn’t encounter any problem with that. Rooms are dated, little dingy. Wi-Fi is horrible.- almost never connects and if it connects it keeps dropping and extremely slow. No fitted sheets on beds. Lounge chairs in balcony were dirty. Food is terrible.

Beautiful location… Frequent boat service to city side…. Nice breakfast…. Horrible maintenance….. Telephone not worked for our entire stay…no one responded even after our repeated complaints….they replaced our kettle after yelling at the reception……washroom drainage not worked for an entire day and we managed to pull out the strainer to allow the water to drain by OURSELVES……

I found the location is excellent but unfortunately it is not clean at all, the hotel almost run down needs a lot and good uplift. WiFi very very week, breakfast not good hygiene, staff trying to be nice but it is too much for them. For example you have open buffet dinner for EG 350 but you have to pay 40 for water and fourty for small cup of tea. Bathroom was very dirty. I will it rate of 3stars as its best.

Great value in Aswan”
The hotel is situated on its own island in the middle of the Nile, and could be a really phenomenal place to stay if management invested a little to upgrade facilities (namely: installing functioning wifi and reopening restaurants/the one pool which is closed). With that being said, the staff were really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend

No Wifi, No hot water, horrible reception”
This was a horrible stay. No wifi, went down to reception to see why there was no wifi and blamed it on our iPhones. Turns out there was no wifi in the complex. We needed to get out itinerary for the following day and he couldn’t even get connection to his computer. Told me while laughing that it was 1st world problems. Horrible. Woke up in the morning and no hot water for a shower. Took the 20 minute boat ride back over to the main road and was happy to leave there. Would NOT recommend at all.

Not Worth the Trip”
There are plenty of other real 4 and 5 star properties. This has a good location on island. but it no facilities working not even good internet. Very old rooms and AC. Reception made me wait for 15 min for check and did not give me a reason for the wait even after multiple requests on why.
