My favorite hotel during my trip around Australia! Q1 is already a tourist attraction on the Gold Coast, and it's only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The two-bedroom apartment we booked was super spacious and had great lighting. It was very comfortable for four people to stay together. We also got a discount on Skypoint tickets by booking them at the front desk. It was a perfect stay experience. I would love to come back again if I have the chance!

Lovely unit but a few let-downs ”
Really loved our stay at Q1. The unit was lovely with a great view south that took in the vista from Carrara round to the ocean and the grounds and pools were just beautiful. I just wish there was open balconies. The unit had a nice large spa bath and the bed was comfy although it was simply 2 single beds put together. The room was well equipped with a fully self contained kitchen and it was very clean apart from the dishwasher. I know how finicky these fisher and paykel dish drawers can be and it wasn't operating purposely so I took it apart for cleaning and what I found inside was absolutely putrid with heaps of foul smelling black, orange and clear like goop that stunk so bad that it safe me want to throw up. I'd hate to know how long it's been since it was cleaned properly until I came along and did it for them. I should have sent them a bill for the time it took cleaning it for them and the affect it had on my health. Another couple of small issues was the toilet seat was loose and even after the maintenance guy came and 'fixed' it, it wasn't long before it was again loose and began trying to tip us off again. Another minor annoyance is if you need extra blankets you have to go to reception and ask for them, same with the toilet paper with which the reception staff often seemed quite reluctant to hand out more than one at a time plus its quite embarrassing having to go to the main counter with all these people around and ask for tp and then have to argue for more than one roll. Reckon they wouldn't have coped too well if I'd have asked for 3. Also, literally nothing is complementary. Any extra towels, face washers, tea and coffee etc, all attracted a charge so we just washed our own. Otherwise, as I said, it was a lovely place, the staff were quite friendly and we enjoyed our holiday there. It's not the kind of place I'd visit again and compared to Circle on Cavill where we stayed last year, Circle on Cavill won out.

Army son and I absolutely adored our stay at the Q1 The room and view was absolutely incredible and something that would be amazing to wake up to every day, We opted for no cleaning services but anything needed was extremely accessible. The room had absolutely everything we needed, including a washer and dryer which was super handy and a coffee machine which was a lovely bonus. Everything we wanted was so close by and the inclusion of easily accessible parking was so handy for our theme park days, We can’t wait to come back :-)
