Qbic London City is a new concept design accommodation, and the greenest hotel in London! Located close to bustling Brick Lane and the trendy bars of Shoreditch, the property offers an off-the-charts experience for urban explorers who are hungry for new and unique experiences. Green credentials, quirky style and sociability set Qbic London City apart from other properties.
Our bedrooms are futuristic in design, featuring a unique, all-in-one pod called 'Qbi'. Highlights include a Super-King bed with organic, hypoallergenic mattress, a 32" LCD TV, UK/EU & USB sockets, hairdryer, and a safe. Our en-suite bathrooms have a powerful rain shower with water-saving technology and luxurious organic toiletries. Bespoke, handmade furniture and locally sourced fixtures also add personality: no two of our quirky rooms are the same!
At Qbic London City, special attention is given to eco-friendly initiatives (solar panels on the roof, a focus on all things recycling and energy-saving, organic toiletries, etc.) and to supporting the local community, while our #QbicSessions – monthly live events featuring the best of London’s up-and-coming talent – feed our guests’ creative hunger and attract the best of the local crowd too.

I would definitely stay here again-good ambience. great breakfast! great location only minutes away from underground station. the only thing is I wish they have laundry-I stayed for 10 nights and laundries in London are not as many as I expected.
This hotel is really interesting. My favourite accomodation so far in England. However do note that there’s no kettle in the room for you to boil water and also you have to use your own phone & line to call the reception/Housekeeping.
We stay here for 4 nights. The price is good, room is spacious, and staff is friendly. However... The first night we stay in room 109. It's so close to the street. We can hear people talking and the traffic noise. Next day morning, we requested to change to another room. The new room is higher but so smelly (from the bathroom/toilet maybe). And, there is a construction site just next to the hotel. Some big noise from 9am is not a very happy thing during travel.
2 mins walk to metro station and alot of restaurants and marts nearby the hotel. Convenient. Staff is helpful and friendly. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Just that the room facilities has to be improved.
Holiday stay in london”
Our first visit to London and we chose this over Ibis Blackfriars because of its theme of the hotel. The hotel is located about 3 mins walk from Aldgate East tube. Lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets around the blocks. We had a spacious room with huge bed. There were complimentary still water in the room and hair dryer for use however, lacking a bar fridge. The hotel is aiming for a green initiative maybe hence the lack of some facilities. There are coffee machines and ironing boards on each floors which guests may help themselves to. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Would consider a stay in this hotel on the next trip.
Had an amazing stay here. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal as it’s a 1 minute walk from a tube stop with easy access to everywhere you’d want to go - also plenty of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We were staying here for my partner’s birthday so we had a complimentary bottle of fizz in the room on arrival. Would highly recommend.
Pleasant stay ”
It was perfect! I love the design and concept. The room is clean and the hotel provide comfortable bed and nice shower which are important for travelers. The sharing of coffee machines for each floor is great idea as not all people will use it even if in the room. I read the reviews in agoda prior booking and glad that I booked it :)
Very cool hotel”
Staff were absolutely friendly and were willing to accommodate my late check-out request. Free wifi works well, free tea and coffee is great on cold mornings. Room had a fun design, soft bed and warm monsoon shower. Love it and would definitely recommend!
Very comfortable hotel in great location”
My stay at the wonderfully designed Qbic hotel was a wonderful experience, it was so comfortable and the complimentary 'piggy bags' tea is a real plus point. I was not too well (suffering from a cold virus) and it was just great to crash out in the amazingly clean/comfrtable bed/room. No breakfast included, which I think is a real minus considering the price of the hotel rooms, and if you do eat in it is very expensive.
Good Location although walk around the park.”
Short stay but I found the hotel to be clean, friendly, good rate for the size of room and location. I like the design and the eco friendly factor. I wouldn't walk through the park again after the first time on arrival the entire population of the park froze and stared me down whilst I dragged a suitcase through. Dodgy. Easy to walk around it though.
The best choice in London ”
I think this hotel is the best choice in London if you are looking for a good value and experience something different . The rooms are different from other hotel , it has a theme , and very artistic . The most important thing is the room and toilets are very clean . The bed is really comfortable and big enough for us , but the room is slightly small , if it can be bigger , it will be perfect
Love the hotel but not all rooms are the same so i got a smaller one then the other same rooms ”
My double bed room on 3th floor was surprisingly small i couldnt fit my large luggage on the floor anywhere without me needing to slightly climb over them. The aircon didnt work properly on 19 degrees felt Like 25 literally couldnt sleep all night and had the window open which was noisy af with police car driving by every 20mins. (But with window closed u cant hear) luckily the next day we informed staff and they put us in another room 4th floor still double but somehow it was alot bigger for the same type of room we booked for (i guess let them know if u happen to get a smaller one that your not comfortable with, as not all rooms r the same layout and size)...all good after that. Loved the eco friendly moto and deco. Staff very friendly and fast with problem solving. Breakfast food is great! Dinner portions r small so not as worth it for the price you pay.
Pretty good value”
The check in was odd, it’s a self check in, but as we booked through Agoda and not direct - we could not check in. The screen said to ask a member of staff. We saw a lady standing at the bar in jeans and a jacket ( within 5 feet of us) and were discussing where the staff were- she paid no attention ( in fairness it turned out she was starting her shift and logging in herself) so I asked if she worked there. After telling her we could not check in she proceeded to get us to redo exactly what we had just done ! Then said it did not work and took us over to her screen and still had trouble. She called a senior staff member who finally checked us in. The room was fairly large for London ( we chose one with a window) very clean and quite nice for a budget hotel. The only downside is the tea and coffee facilities- none in room, you have to go down the corridor. Twice there were no paper cups available. I understand the ethos of low cost but at least put 4 paper cups and teabags/coffee, sugar and milk in the room so you can go and fill up at the hot water machine. Otherwise it was ok. We will definitely use this hotel again due to the good price and cleanliness.
Not as good as I was expecting. The room was spacious but cold even with heating on.
Location very good, stafaso very helpfully For muslim, very near to central mosque of London
One of the cleanest, comfiest rooms ever!”
Really beautiful hotel, very easy acccess to the tube. The hotel itself is stunning and very quirky with loads of sustainable ideas and recycled, unique furniture. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever been in! And the room was spotlessly clean. I had the veggie breakfast in the morning which was utterly delicious Can’t wait to stay again.
Excellent boutique hotel with cute design. The hotel is clean and staffs are friendly. The hotel is located near cafe, shops and there's a bug supermarket behind. The bed is very comfortable and room are spacious. The water pressure is great and had a great shower after a long day of exploration. Will definitely be back to stay again.
Good Value Design Hotel ”
The hotel was a great value! Simple, yet absolutely creative design. Even though the room looks small in pictures, it’s an ideal size for 2 people. After all, you don’t travel to stay all day in the hotel room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and they even offered a go-green incentive program that involved a free drink at the bar. 5-stars no doubt and a guaranteed return for us!
Clean and stylish hotel room which gave us a surprise! The toilet was large and clean. The location of the hotel was close to the underground which was convenient. There was a free coffee station which was good for breakfast
Very nice and cool hotel. Well designed and provides all you need. Friendly staff ”
Staff members are very friendly, nice breakfast but little expensive, small but practical room, good bed and having a tube station very close to the hotel makes it easy to see London. Overall recommended
